Missing obvious essential features like viewing thermostat activity graph. Poor UI/UX with buggy behaviour like toggles toggling back by themselves after you switch them. Edit after almost 1 year of usage: consistently disappointed with the app and the system as a whole. Using it for the bare minimum (setting current thermostat temperature and enabling/stopping automatic program) and still it manages to (fail to) start/stop in undesired ways.

The app used to work just fine, but since about a month or two it mostly doesn't load at all. I've already reinstalled twice, but the app simply doesn't load about 80% of the time. If it does load I have to press to change the temperature 3 times before it actually responds and changes the temperature. Worthless app, please fix it. It used to work fine!!

My most used function, seeing my energy usage throughout the day, and over the weeks, fails most of the time. Only an empty graph is shown, without any message or feedback. Switching between gas/electricity or changing the unit (month/week/day/hour) doesn't have any effect. I update the app regularly, but this happens since I used the app. That was on one of my previous phones. Fortunately the temperature program and settings do work.

The Toon app used to work fine but lately the app is very unresponsive. It takes several minutes for the dashboard to load (if it loads at all) so not really practical if you want to change the temperature etc. Walking to the wall unit is a lot faster and more reliable.

I used to use Toon frequently, but nowadays almost never because it fails most of the time. I can't see icons on the tiles, I can't see consumption graphs, I can't change my temperature. The last one is a real pity, one a the true benefits of toon, was being able to remote control my thermostat.

I had toon few yeas back was brilliant, I bought toon again,pay fee, etc works for capsule of weeks, after few months of nice weather i start using it again but-on phone I cant no option to put temp up or down, screen is keep loading, no usage visible on the screen, nothing i checked all setings and connections everything is fine but again screen is keep loading. It is very irritated. I cant use outside of the house either as it is not working

Completely fed up with Toon support. I had the toon unit and App installed everything went well. Start this year I had to buy a new phone and simcard. I had to install Toon on my new phone. My log in details work perfectly when I log into my eneco account on Web browser but when I log into my account to connect toon app it says the account details are in correct which is not the case. Countless hours on CALL with support and NO working toon app 8 months now and paying. Please remove it!!.

Very unstable app. It often says no connection when the thermostat and my device both clearly have good connection. I'd love for this app to be reliable and stable so that I can properly use the smart functionality the Toon offers (and I pay for).

Bad experience! The doesn't work properly. When I open the app it just keeps loading forever. I called for assistance and followed all the instructions. It worked for like an hour! After that it stopped working again. I don't recommend this app.

Does what it needs to do. Easy to use. No more yearly hassle of reporting energy usage. Turn off stuff from wherever you are. Useful analytics/data, good tips.

Very satisfied with the appearance and manoeuvrability of the app. Just set the temperatures and minor adjustments for the season and do not have to look at the thermostat again.

Toon as a concept is a handy energy saving tool. In practice, the big problem is that quite often the app does not startup and/or connect to the smart thermostat at home.

Sometimes it loses connection for an unknown reason but in general that app gives a lot! Especially when you left home and forgot to switch heating off, which saves a lot of money 👍

I have changed my cellphone but I can't login again, have changed my password many times, still the same problem. I have called customer service and the answer machine said waiting time is 1 minute, but guess what?! I have waited 10 minuets and they hung up the connections.

Graphs don't load, and even though there's a paid subscription for if you don't have Eneco as energy provider, you can't set it to use your real costs. The monthly magazine doesn't make sense (expected cost €0?)

Easy to control temperature in your house. Useful feature "Program". You automatically can warm your house right before waking up and keep it cooler while you are at work.

Worse than the older version. Keeps giving a no connection message when all my other apps work fine. Basically useless.

Very easy to use. Everywhere editable temperature. When away you can easy change temp from destination. Still here!

I've called many times, send messages in the forum. Had to reset my account but still got the error username/password is incorrect. So disappointed.

The app cannot connect with the new gas and electric meters. I have changed from Eneco, so actually have no clue who to contact to get the real time statistics. Toon or Eneco?

The app is great. However, the sensors for consumption don't work properly ot at all.

Most times I open this app I cannot use as is says no connection ... every other app on my phone works just fine.

Stopped displaying information on Samsung S9+ after update. Just blank boxes. Completelg useless now.

It's entirely useless. The app managed to connect once, only once, over the past six months.

it is a two star because very often the data are not registered properly. example for the gas i dont get consistency by day on the consumption

I actually can't rate cause when I put my eneco login info and press continue it takes me back to the first page I keep going back I tryed on 2 phones same problem. Can u please help me 😣 toon

Good app, just that it would be great to have an option to export the data of Toon - this is now lacking

No connection! Please fix. This is definitely not due to unstable internet connection of Toon.

This app changed my life and how my family think of energy. It makes you aware of how much gas and electricity you actually use and motivate you to be less wasteful and therefore save money.
