Toon Shooters 2 is an arcade side-scrolling shooter 'shmup' inspired by the golden era of 80's arcade shooters. Real time co-op play available with different characters with various roles and abilities.
Five years after the fall of the Fleet, the Toons are back in action to wreck threats old and new... it was a massacre, on both sides!
THE GAME
The first campaign launches with 6 playable characters, 7 custom-fit pets & 10 stages of various puzzles and ridiculous bosses.
Up to 5P Co-Operative multiplayer available with roles for each player (diagonal shots, healers, bombers...)
The game has content patches under planning and you should keep an eye on the app even after you've played through the initial game for new challenges.

A fun and enjoyable game. Controls very well, good graphics and sounds. No forced ads. I played through all 15 stages. Harder difficulty after you beat the game, which adds to the replay value. There's also lots of characters/ships to unlock via ingame coins. The developers did a great job on this game.
Fun and fast paced with retro style graphics. One MAJOR problem thought. Too little coins for beating a level and leveling up shooter or buying new characters far to extensive. Paid $4.99 for the 20+ thousand coins and to get all the characters and got NOTHING. PLEASE GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR OR KINDLY REFUND MY MONEY.
Good game concept and cute character ruined by bad system. Like others said, it has a problem with the fact that continue wont replenish automatically and needs ad watch which doesnt work most of tgje time, same with the coin reward. We end up wasting time with the ad with no reward resulting in just milking the developer. And cant proceed to 3rd stage even though cleared 2nd. Too bad, the game had potential.
Very Fun , could've been much better if it was easier to get coins, the controls should be fixed and much more chapter but overall it was awesome! Keep it up Devs
One of the best shooting games on android - rare side scrolling, firepower not limited to weak bullets, 2 difficulty levels, online multiplayer up to 5 players & eye catching graphics - all in all an amusement arcade experience on your handphone fantastic game!
very very good game i have played other game but this one is very good but cant wait for new update for new map and hero plus pets but some hero power are same n i bug that only 2 super power although my plane is full upgraded other plane got 8 super power after full upgrade so plz fix this bug problem please and new update and main problem is i dont have flag of nepal country.
Ad reward cant receive even after watching. Wast time just to milk the developer. 3rd stage inaccessible even after clearing the 2nd. Good game with poor system. Too bad since it was an enjoyable game.
Like any of the 1980s action movies, Toon Shooters 2 is a cartoon version of R-Type. Awesome game!
Original Toon Shooters was way better, the game is poorly optimized, it's super laggy for my Pixel 4 XL, i cant even imagine how it is for midrange or budget smarthphones.
Controls are clunky at best. Too hard to dodge bullets. Game is too tough right off the get go. Earning money for upgrades is a joke. Uninstalling after 5 minutes of playing.
The game is good, the control are a bit weird, it would be nice if the plane can move to where my finger is.
noicee game btw;),but it will be better if the bullets are COLERED BRIGHT RED so we can notice it easily it need to be very bright red,plzzzzzzzzzzzz
So aside from this game existing for legit years it still has bad hitboxes its hard to know where the 2d hitbox is when everything is sloped in 3d
it's really fun and challenging but because of that often times on multi we don't even last 30 seconds or well maybe i just carry the whole team
A truly enjoyable game. Very little ads and long enough of a game to provide hours of fun.

Its a great game but hard to get characters like the helicopter lady And not like ben but make it more lesser cuz i never got a new character for weeks

PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THIS GAME! I like this developer. Their games are, perhaps, a little rough edged - but, this is their most polished. This game is pretty great. Could use more content - levels and customization... Maybe more modes? But, for what it is - they did a great job. It is easy to play for free, with or without friends, with plenty of fun challenges. Difficulty choice for any skill level. No invasive ads or pressure to pay. I just wish there were more, after fully unlocked/beaten
