The app doesn't download any map of the area I'm needing to use it in. It will say that it is downloading for 5 minutes then will give me an error message and I never get the map I need. What is the point of having the ability for offline maps if they never download? Otherwise the app would be useful but I don't have service where I need the app the most.
Download function does not work. Consistent download errors that are not a result of my internet connection or otherwise. UPDATE: Do not believe the comment by the app producer that asks you to retry. I just reinstalled and retried, and it's still broken. This app does not work. Do not waste your time.
On my galaxy 8 it worked great. I now have a galaxy 20 and it will not download maps. Not internet problem, not phone problem it is the apps problem. I had used it on my galaxy 8 for years with no issues. Please fix download bug.
New version broke the map display for some devices, like my Nexus 7. Email to developer went unanswered. Unfortunate, It was a good app, would rate 5/5 if it still worked.
Blank map even though other compass and gps apps work fine , 2 stars because it is free. Response to reply: the map was blank WHILE I was online, if I tried to download, I would download a blank map.
Does not work unless you have cell coverage. I was in middle of nowhere and tried to use the app when needed the most. No go, I was screwed. Working on refund.
Easy to use, free offline topo maps. No ads or annoying stuff.
Fails to load on Asus tablet. Crashes immediately upon launch.
Used when on elk hunt and worked great. Marked several points and had no problem finding them again.
Constantly getting "Map download error". This app would be useless without i-net connection
I like this app! Questions tho: Is there a way to see lat/long coordinates? And how do you save a place (other than searching for it by name, etc.)?
If this is all you've got, well I hope you get lucky, really lucky because you're going to be hopelessly lost.

So easy to use. The only problem is that there should be a reset button or at least a way to delete the maps you have downloaded But maybe I'm just not seeing it cuz I'm stupid. Thanks bye.

been searching for this type of app. finding topo maps that are accurate and high res is really difficult. I have a stack of paper maps, but the ability to look at maps on my phone at work to plan my weekends is extremely valuable. Google maps doesn't cut it, avenza has storage issues. this has been the best I found. that being said. if your going into the back country, have a map and compass. phone battery die, knowledge of knowing how to use a map and compass can be life saving. I'm serious
