Torque Dashboard Plugin
This is a plugin for Torque Pro
- you will need this app for the plugin to work
It allows you to create on-screen displays of OBD sensors that your car has, and overlay them on the screen in apps you choose (For example you can display your cars engine temperature and other sensors like MPG on top of Google Maps)
You can create custom dashboards in any app. Multiple apps can have different dashboards and they are remembered when you return to the app!
To delete an item from the dashboard, press-and-hold on the display you no longer need and choose the 'Remove' option

I'm afraid this doesn't do what it says on the tin, and when i reached out for well meaning help (perhaps I'd missed a step), i got no response in 6 days ... Sorry if that's too short a wait time. Sorry to say that whilst the main, paid, app is a five, this is a one, since it literally cannot do what it says it should. (Have authorised app, and it still won't stay on screen on two different devices, over any other app than the launcher.) Will happily up if fixed, shown where the setup issue is.
game changer, i use my torque pro more now. Tip, if using with google maps, do not have an open maps session, close it out first. initially app seemed defective but you just need to figure out the logic/nuances im sure the dev needed to work with to make this work. sometimes the gauge will just fall off but i blame my phones app power management. 5 stars though because the idea itself is brilliant plus the dev was able to pull it off.
Work on my 2019 phone, unfortunately not all widget types are available. In particular graphing widgets are missing. It does work with the torque app theme, which is a big plus. Have yet to test it with FCC car launcher. This would be a 5 star if it had more complete widgets and I was confident it would keep on getting updates and continue to work.
Having a lot of problems after last up date. On a samsung phone it keeps going to allow torque dash board in these settings! And none of the settings have toque attached. In there settings. Some helpful advice would be great.
How can you even be allowed to list the app as "compatible" with my device if it's not. Galaxy S9+ will not display the widgets. You know, I was really excited to finally have gauges on google maps but your poor coding ruined that. Hopefully theres an update for fixing it soon.
Just purchased this plug in and followed the on screen instructions. It doesn't work!! There isn't a refund button in the Google Play Store for this defective app!!!
Suddenly, it is not working. Recently just upgrade to latest torque pro version. Does it related ? i have tried uninstall/reinstall on this plugin but it still not working. Anyone please help to advise. It is quite useful feature.
Doesn't do anything on a Note 8 running Android 9. Click on the "Add Widgets" button and it just disappears. Zero instructions found online. Very disappointing.
Wasn't able to access the app. When I tried to give it access to be used I got block with a message "Because this app is obscuring a permission your settings can't... blah blah blah" Bummed because I really wanted to try it. Maybe dev. can correct in the future. Give me a message when it's ironed out. Obviously uninstalling now though
No widgets available on Galaxy S7 running Android 8.0.0. The torque app itself is great. This add-on, not so much.
Ian I got one gauge to actually populate data in another app. I've added other gauges and verified they work inside of torque pro but only one works when overlayed in another app
P30 pro. I have Torque Pro running and then I start this plugin it asks me for permissions. Granted it asks me to add Winget. Unfortunately where are no Torque wingets available in the system. Reinstall did not help.
Works perfect! Just need to start Torque pro first and aftet it to start navigation. I'm using it with Waze. No problem at all.
You folks need to fix that it can't display extended PIDs (e.g. GM transmission temp.) Those are needed while towing!
Works awesome with my Z fold 2. You just have to manually allow Torque to draw over other apps.
Not working on Android 11. Used to be great to have the widget open over other apps like navigation.
Works In gmaps but crashes when using sygic navigation app was excited until I found this flaw

will not run, keeps telling to update my version of torque scan. I have the latest version.
So...set permission...then try add widget...goes to desktop, no widget. Poorly executed app.
The app is a good idea but custom PIDs don't work for some reason.

After install it says allow these permissions. It doesn't tell you what permissions or what menu or where to go. I went into the standard Android apps, found torque dashboard plug-in, and enabled every permission that was listed. It's still fails to work. This would be a great concept if it actually worked:-(
