Pros: free, no ads, simple interface, allows you to choose destination of files. Cons: inaccurate times to download (jumps from 10 to 55 mins for small files), percentage complete displays 0% at all times, needs warning regarding latest Android update and how it will affect the app. For now, its back to kat's official app for me.
Before installing lollipop it was pretty much flawless for its purpose. Any slowness is you're own internet connection on phone (trust me I have tested this extensively). However after lollipop it force closes. I believe this is a ROM bug so probably nothing. 5 stars
Took me a while to find a client that actually works. Next to atorrent this is by far the best downloader on the market for Android. It's light, fast, and ad free. And runs full speed in the background, those other clients shut down when your phone goes into sleep mode. Thanks!
Holy cow, that was fast! First dl was fast as Hell, but it does keep force closing now. Might be because I am running it on an S6 and the memory management issues it has. Give this app a try. Much better than all the others I've tried (and I have tried many). If I can figure out how to avoid the force closes, I'll give it 7 out of 5 stars!
I downloaded it since its rating was so high. But it has so many bug issues. Firstly, it just shows high speed whilst not working at all. 8 hours of high speed and only 2% has been downloaded, which could only imply that it shows a false downloading speed. It hangs the phone again and again.
Others have a bad ui and desighn and expect you to use as less power as possible while tgis one has tge OPTION for that and does not ocer crowd with adds or needless data. At the same time downloads are so much faster and the ui and design is excellent! However i cannot seem to download over mobile at the moment with this app. But excellent!
As long as you find a site that has magnet downloads this application takes care of the rest all you have to do is press the maganet link and app takes over from there... Some people have suggested to be able to have the option to not have compleated download seed immediately after completion, "I would agree". However that's not going to determin me from giving 5 stars, this is absolutely 5 stars app. Fantastic job thank you!
Best for plain basic downloads. And on top it's totally ad free. Some features like queuing schedule options etc would be nice though. But no complaints.
On my old phone, the app would lock up a lot but when I got,my LG g3 I tried it out and it seems to work fine. It seems to have trouble running on lower end devices but here I'm getting download speeds of a few megs on WiFi.
I tried 10 other clients and there is no better then torrentx but there is one thing that is not working well. If i try to download something bigger then 1 GB it shows the download speed but no progress i leave the phone for 20 minutes unlocked because the program doesn't work when my device is locked and that is problematic too . These are the only reasons why i didn't give five stars.
Fastest & the most reliable downloader that I've found. It's even faster than ttorrents pro version. This is a must have if you like downloading movies. It's quick & easy to use. It doesn't look like much though. With an app this good, you guys should modernize it & make it look futuristic & cool. Maybe throw in a copy to sd card function for those of us who like to keep a digital movie library on the cards. I insert my card into a card reader & plug it into the front of my blue ray player. Then I can choose from numerous movies that I have pasted onto my card all with the click of a button. You can call it your pro version. I would pay for that app. Please give me some feedback. I would look forward to buying that program. Thanks guys. Awesome app!
Nice, light downloader with good speed. Update: I have used this app for years but as of 2/2018 it has become unusable. It crashes nearly immediately upon opening. I've had to change to another app but would gladly change back if it were fixed. Ad free makes it wonderful, it is useful, easy and light but constant crashing makes it total unusable.
