I was super excited to see torrid has an app, until I used it. It's awful, everytime my phone locks it take you back to to top and makes you start all over. All this does is frustrate me and make me close the app to look somewhere else. The website isn't much better, its unbelievable slow and when backing out of an item it sets you in a different spot then where you were looking

The app is terribly slow and constantly crashes. My newest issue with it is getting a message that something went wrong and try again. Nothing loads and the app stays blank. The app needs a new developer because this is a serious issue. There are a lot of complaints about how annoying it is to use this app.

ETA doesn't even open anymore. HATE the new app format. I have to check every size for availability. The old format showed the sizes crossed out if unavailable. Buttons don't seem to work, I had to click through 3 menus to get to anything. This was not an improvement, now it's as useless as trying to shop on the webiste.

Be careful if you have a loyalty card! Changing your address on the app, even if it appears to save correctly, DOES NOT WORK. The app pulls from loyalty card data, even if it's a decade old, and it's not possible to correct. You won't know until too late, and customer service claims they cannot see the addresses or help in any way, and that it's a long-term, known issue.

This app is now horrible. I've had an account for years & it will not take my login on the app but works fine on website. Also, why put a button on the app that says "Don't feel like signing up - Start Browsing" if pushing it requires you to login or sign up?? 🤔 Won't let me change PW or login so items in my cart on the app just have to stay there. Seems like you'd fix it with all these bad reviews. Why does it go back to the to top every time I a click off the page? It's super frustrating!!

I am not sure what to think of this app. It tells you what you're ordering is on sale and makes you review the order twice. The first time it comes to $123 then the final review it shoots up to $204. Is there something wrong with the app or is torrid pulling a scam and hoping you don't notice the price change. 🤔

Update 4/18/22: this app isnt working on my galaxy S22 ULtra. The app will not load at all. This is frustrating because i pay my bill and do a lot of shopping thru this app. Please fix it!!!! Old review: Bought several items using app and received the correct items every time. I only gave 4 stars is because trying to filter my size or color is slow.

Having a lot of difficulty loading the app and when I was able to get on it isn't very fluid. It makes shopping frustrating and I just want to quit. The only other issue is it would be nice to know if an item is going to be back in stock or not. My size is a popular one so it's always out of stock.

This new update REALLY annoys me. Love shopping with Torrid, I have for years. The app was working fine but with this new update, you can't scroll through all the available options. It just removes all the products and shows a blank page once you've looked through 25-50% of the options. Even worse when you try to filter your search. Pretty bad time to have this sort of glitch. Some of the updates are nice but if you can't look through all the products it cancels all of that out.

I love the new design, hate how long it takes it to load if I want to check my wishlist or my card balance. I just went ahead took it off my phone. I end up using the web version a lot more anyway. There's a lot more functionality on the website anyway that's not on the app, like instead of fully clicking on a product you can see the different looks inside the picture. You can't do that in the app. And it doesn't take forever to load. It's the little things.

Update is problematic. All of my searches have dozens of results. Which would be great if they stayed long enough to look at them all. After scrolling for a few seconds they disappear. Update: This is not better, with the update, in spite of the response I got about it being fixed. It lasts longer...but still disappears before you can look at all of the search results.

Listen, the issue with the wishlist was fixed, but at what cost? Like others, I can't view products (which makes it difficult to buy them in a shopping app), and the credit card management feature, which was the only reason I used my credit card, is gone. It shows sold out items as if they're available, but won't let me add them to my wishlist in case they come back into stock. The layout is confusing, and the shop tab is terrible. I had workarounds for my wishlist, but the app is unusable now.

The new updated app is pretty terrible. When you try to limit your search, it will leave all those tags at the top of your screen, making the actual scrollable part of it tiny. On top of that, once you scroll to the bottom of the page, the app freezes entirely as it tries to load the next options. Sometimes it takes so long to load, that my phone thinks the app has stopped responding.

Ever since they updated the design, the app keeps acting up - whenever I search, halfway through scrolling it clears the screen and says "no results found" & the search parameters (size/type/etc) don't seem to work properly either. There may be more issues but it frustrates me so much I avoid spending time on it. This used to be a perfectly usable app - please fix!!

The store is great. This app has been horrible since the recent update! It's very slow, I can't scroll fluidly without it automatically going back to the top of the screen. When I have made purchases, the numbers are all on top of each other so, I can't see the taxes and total that I'm paying. Please fix this!! It worked fine before!

What they did with the recent update messed up a few things. The app just keeps telling me something went wrong when I try to place an order. Anytime I search for something it show the items, the removes everything and says nothing can be found. Really a bummer because this app use to be really user friendly. I also really don't like that the torrid credit card management section redirects you out of the app and is just a huge hassle to deal with.

I love the clothing & so many choices. Not sure why the app keeps closing on me or not loading all the items when scrolling. It also won't let me go from shopping, then to my profile, without freezing up while the purple/ pink circles keep moving to indicate loading. I hope this gets straightened out as the old format was better, even with its issues. Very frustrating!

New app update leaves much to be desired. It constantly freezes on me every time I'm trying to shop. At first I thought there were a lot of people shopping the app so perhaps was running slow. It happens every single time I'm on it no matter what time of day I'm on. It's annoying trying to shop because I'm constantly having to start over. The other updates seem ok; it is a bit frustrating not seeing what sizes are unavailable until you choose the size you want.

* 1/4/22 Changing review to 5 stars as the most recent app update seems to have addressed the issue below! What's with the wishlist button not working? When you click the heart icon, it "un-clicks" after a few seconds and the item isn't saved. People have been complaining about this for a while and I've seen no solution or explanation.

Why did they bother to "upgrade" an app that was working fine to one that is terrible? You can only see 2 items at a time while shopping and the font size showing the price on sale items is unreadable. This is a perfect example of an app that no one cared enough to bother testing before launching. Torrid, this is beneath you. Fire the person responsible and fix it.

The new update has made this app completely non user friendly. • When I use the search bar to look for a product and begin to scroll down, everything disappears and the entire screen goes black. • When I'm on the app looking with just a general search, the app crashes about 3 minutes in, but only after two "loading" circles appear. Before this update this app was extremely user friendly with zero complaints - at least from me. Terrible now and very annoying!

I have a hard time with this app for some reason. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but I still have trouble with the search function. If I search an item, i can only scroll a little before the page changes and tells me 0 results. The reviews don't show up for me. Sometimes the app just loads and loads and loads. It's not my internet and not my phone.

The update was awful. I have to logout and back in multiple times to see my profile info. I kept getting kicked out of the app when scrolling down more than a few items. Takes a long time to load images. Can't see what's out of stock anymore. Please fix it! It is painful to use now. I use my computer browser to shop now, over the app which isn't very convenient.

Since the update at the end of 2021, the interface of the app isn't as user friendly and while they were going for simplicity and minimalist- it makes me the app feel clunky and difficult to use. My issue (even after the most recent Jan 2022 update) is that when you search for something and start to scroll, it refreshes and says "0 items found".... In the middle of you scrolling the search results. Anyways, I hate it and will be uninstalling and using my phone browser for the website.

I have been using this app for years and loved it. Since the update it crashes constantly, I have had to log in 6 times in the past 2 days! I'm literally trying to give y'all my money! The way you show item availability is garbage now, and you didn't even add the ability to review within the app! I love this brand and the company, the new app needs some tweaks. I personally like the look of the new "home page" and layout across the bottom.

The app used to be a lot better. Now I can't even get the app to load. It's been like this for over a month now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still won't load. Before that, the change to the UI made it hard to use. Definitely not user friendly. The website is a lot easier to use, don't waste your time with the app.

This app use to be a fine but recently the glitches are extra. If I search something particular, it will display the items in the category I searched. Within 90 seconds it blanks out. Checking out has become a slower process, as the slowing speed causes inconvenience. Lastly, I put things in my cart, such as the Golden Girl's Hoodie, it was $20something when I added it The next day, I went to check out and it's $45+. IS THE RAISE IN PRICE CAPITALIZING ON BETTY WHITE'S DEATH. It's upsetting.

This app is not as good as it used to be. They changed the layout and it is not as user friendly as it was before. Also acessing some profile information is not as simple as it was before. Then the app notifies me about sales almost every day, but never tells me my order is shipped or has been delivered. Maybe fixing that should've been part of the update rather than making it more difficult for me to shop with my Torrid card on the app.

Horrible updated app. Constantly freezing, about every four items you scroll through it freezes for 2 minutes. Please fix this problem. Also instead of showing all the available sizes left it shows all sizes are available until you pick the size you want, go back to the item itself, then says sold out! Ridiculous. Old app was soooooo much better!

Torrid is the best! Ultra love the super soft line, so much more comfortable/movable and breathable than anything else I've ever found. Was even better when "super soft" was a filter by option on the app!
