This app is not user-friendly! It is tedious just attempting to view the playback. The delay is dangerously long when trying to answeror ascertain who is at the door. The view of desired areas are horrible and limited and cuts off the person(s) detected. I do not feel any safer than if I didn't use the app and the device!

I had a good run with this door camera for about 2 years but now it's time for a change! The camera is good but the app is terrible. There is a serious delay in getting notifications. My phone rings minutes and sometimes hours after the visitor left! When I go to playback video it says Failed! My dog tells alerts me faster than the camera when someone comes to the door! Also too many ads.. Ring here I come!

Great picture quality, but pain to set up to WiFi. Finally got it, worked really well for a few months, allowed conversations with people at the door while I was at work, but now it will not open up a live view, just spools forever. Hardware is great, but the software is GARBAGE. Very frustrating. There are other non- Ring options that are better than this, and I'll be going there after the holidays. Was really happy at first, super disappointed now.

The cameras seem to work fine. The app is another story. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds to half a minute for a notification to come through even at home. When away I do get the ring but it does not connect to show the video. This app simply fails to connect to a network. Even at home it is very slow to connect. I like the cameras and the onboard storage feature. I hope the connectivity issue gets fixed. Otherwise this doorbell mostly useless. This APP is junk.

Potentially very good. App lets it down. Doorbell itself excellent. Video great. However, detection is far too slow. Callers have been and gone before the video kicks in. I've got dozens of clips with nothing on them as the visitor has already walked out of view. The alert on my phone is far too loud and goes on too long and not adjustable. A few minor adjustments would make this a great product.

It's great if/when it works, which is maybe 5% of the time. It never connects, just spools and then times out. The motion detector is delayed so if by chance you can actually connect, you can't see what set the detector off because they're already out of view. Also the setup was very difficult to figure out, particularly the SD card placement. I haven't been able to connect to see what's been detected in over 3 days which defeats the whole purpose of having this.

It worked for a while, until I had to change my Wifi password. There's no way to update it in the app. When I try to delete the device it always gets restored but won't connect because the system is trying the wrong password. Update: since the latest update it is even worse. I finally got the device reset and reinstalled but with the latest app update I keep losing connection to the device and the "low" motion detection sensitivity is so sensitive that it goes off with every breeze.

I had this door bell for about 5 months I just now had to charge the batteries. I let them charge over night. The door bell has a clear view. What I don't like is notification message only last for 7 days and it don't automatically delete them. You have to manually delete. After 7 days if you don't manually record you can't view anymore. Motion detection is very sensitive as well. At first I had connection issues but now it works perfectly.

I give it a one star just because I can't give zero stars. At first it was an OK app. I could manage. It had a few glitches, but nothing that would bother me. As time went by it only got worse. It won't always connect to the camera and when it finally does the image is behind by close to a minute. I no longer receive warning sounds when a person passes by. To top it off, it now has popup adds. My goodness. Why did they include adds? You can't see the image if you don't see the add first. 😡😡😡

Poor app for a poor door bell. The cam works fine, but that's where it ends. It picks up every car that drives past, even on the lowest setting, so you have to charge it every week. I had to turn off the motion detection, and have it record only when someone rings the bell. Battery now lasts about 6 months. The app takes so long to connect to the doorbell, that people have left before you can talk to them. If you are downloading this app, I guess it is too late. You already have the doorbel

Push notifications on Android phone and iPad are very inconsistent. Last week, started working on it's own after it had stopped. Also, I reset, works for a few days, then nothing again. Tried everything google, and YouTube had to offer for help, no success. When working, everything is great!! Battery also drains super fast all of a sudden. Help!! ToSee, or anyone please!!

The app used to work well but it has become absolutely unusable at times. What's the point in having an alert and by the time the app boots up, the caller has gone. I have had to make unnecessary trips to the sorting office to pick up deliveries because I couldn't advise the postman to leave it with a neighbour. I am going to switch to a Ring unit, where I have seen the app for it working very well.

The app is fine. Camera is slow to connect because it runs on very low power mode until something activates it - and that takes a little time. To be expected for a solar powered (low power) camera that needs to establish a wifi connection before you can connect to it. That's assuming we're all using the same cameras, which I expect is the case. Make sure your camera is in good range of wifi - which may involve installing new wifi range extenders (they're cheap). I thought I'd share my experience failing to set it up. Turns out I was running firewall software that uses a virtual VPN, which was silently blocking it.

The app is failing. It can't connect anymore after I've traveled away from my home. Even right in the house, it doesn't connect like it used to be. It takes 3-5 minutes to connect and freezes instantly then close out completely. Some of my devices are completely disconnected from the app. Now that I've traveled far away from home, how can i reinstate these app with the cam? Very bad.!

This used to be a really good app when I first got it over a year ago. The camera works perfect, but the app takes way too long to upload the video and now that ads have been added, it takes evens longer to load. I'm not sure what happen over the last few months but it was getting slower and now with the ads being added this month, it's slower, has glitches and shuts down quit a bit. You had a good thing but ruined it.

Not connecting to the doorbell. Frustrating!!!! Update (19 Oct 2018): Finally got it connected. I wasn't able to connect through my usual wifi router which is running 2.4ghz. But when I set up with the app again to connect the device to my old 3G portable router, it works. I suspect the firmware of the device has problem which cause it not to connect to newer routers. Just my guess. In any case, the device manufacturer needs to look into updating the device firmware. Hope this helps.

The camera is great! No complaints with that. My only gripes with the software are not being able to set the door bell notification to vibrate only or turn down the volume. You can't turn off push notifications for motion only. I have the sensitivity set to the highest level because otherwise delivery guys can come and go before motion is triggered. I get a billion motion notifications a day because it picks up nearly every car that drives by. I want door bell notifications but not motion.

Well i most have to say that the video and picture quality is very good. I have the doorbell hooked up with direct power. Motion sensor works pretty good, the live feed is clear and connecting to the app is fast in my opinion. I placed an SD card in it and it records and saves to the videos to the card and cloud. I tested it out, had a UPS delivery and the motion detector picked up the delivery of the package. It was very clear and notification was also fast. I will say so far i am pleased with the doorbell. I will see how long it continues to work and i will give another review on it. All in all so far so good.

Set up was good, until resetting... Couldn't connect again. Had to replace it, now new one works but some how it won't let me change the settings or share... even when I did the password. Does what it's suppose to do, but would appreciate it, if the administration password worked so I can share and change the settings. I don't want to reset again incase it won't let me connect again. Video quality is not too bad, and I can check in when I'm at work. Its just an okay app. Needs up grades

Nice camera view when it connects, but can't do anything with it since the app is so bad. 48 hrs charge and got to about 80%. Won't give alert on the phone anymore, takes forever to load and then drops out. Messages play maybe 2 out of 10. Purchased a sigmal booster and it did not improve. Increased internet speed and still no improvement. If your looking for a video door bell I would suggest looking at something else and stay away from this piece of worthless junk.

App closes itself down which means I don't receive notifications. Also, notifications are very late. By the time I receive a notification about a motion detection, the person has been and gone! This app really let's everything down. It could be such a great thing otherwise but its making security (the whole point of the device) pretty rubbish!!!

This app has been working really good for over a year. I have it pop up on my screen when there an alert but now I'm getting advertisements that delay seeing what caused the alert. Very annoying. If they want to advertise they should use a banner that would not interfere with the security alert. Otherwise, it's easy to install and use.

ToSee is sluggush and very glitchy. I feel the hardware is also responsible. When I try to use the 2 way audio communication, it bogs down to the point of losing video. Motion detection takes so long to connect, that you completely miss what triggered it. Overall it is a terrible system. Stay clear away of this app and its hardware, avoid the hassle and lose of time.

Everything works fine, picture quality and sound is great. A criticism is that you cant have a notification telling you that doorbell has been rung when call notification is turned off, unless you open the app and you see a red dot in the app. There should be a notification when doorbell was pressed in your notification bar even when call notification is turned off. This feature is on most video doorbell apps, thats why i only gave 2 stars, if this feature is added, i would gladly change to 5
