The app just straight up doesn't work. Kind of infuriating if you've just bought a brand new Smart TV and one of the advertised features doesn't even work.
Very good App, only two stars though cause of some bugs and improvements need to be fixed and made. Shame Toshiba stopped the development of the App and support of our product.
Don't waste your time. Downloaded and first message says.it was created for an older.vwrsion of Android so may not work. Doesn't appear to work.
this app doesn't work in Android v8. tried to contact developer via mail and they blocked mails.
5 years old, utter garbage, won't work on an up to date version of Android.
Poor, unable to browse hdd since day one ... had to use another (non-Toshiba) software to access my hdd's.
Terrible app.. Very limited in what it can do..trouble using it with my new 4k TV
Rubbish, does not work just searches for 40 days and 40 nights but after 2 mins your be deleting it in frustration

It works but still erratic. Also desperately needed is a progress indicator for uploads. The wireless adapter hardware is excellent but this sofware is not good enough. By the way there are many other apps that can work with the hardware so you dont absolutely have to put up with this app.
Functionally, the software is OK, but it used more battery than any other app. The three days I had it installed I ran out of battery 8 hours faster than usual and I checked the usage to find this app on top. Another thing to fix would be to have it play videos full screen, with no software buttons showing at all.
UPDATE: So last night I noticed the app had updated, so i've just given it a try with a 1080p copy of Jupiter Ascending and after a bit of fiddling with some firmware update the video is playing perfectly on my lollipop tablet ! wow that was only a six month wait :p So I'll give this a full 5 stars now but if the hard drive still goes to sleep without being able to wake it, it'll be updated to 4 stars. OLD REVIEW: My only gripe would be is that it puts the HDD into sleep mode too quickly and it can be a pain to wake it up again. That and it won't detect any files from my nvidia shield tablet running lollipop. If everyone this app doesn't work for could email Toshiba, the email is on this page, and tell them your problem, what hardware your using it on and what version of android... they might actually update the app to work again.
Found easy to set up but my main reason for having this was to transfer music to my phone. When selecting a folder it doesn't have a download option. You have to create a folder on phone, then select all mp3 files in folder on hdd, then download, then copy from apps own download folder to your new folder. What a load of hassle. Works but very very frustrating!!! Needs an update to solve this issue please
Does not stream larger files. Small video clips work but it just spews error messages if you try to watch movies or series.
Unable to play videos over lan on phone with lollipop. Works on ics phone.
Streaming, deletion, rename, download, no upload. Can not stream large files. You're better off with a hard wire adapter to connect your portable drive to your Android device.
Wants to always use its own SSID. Does not want to connect to local SSID. Sending it back!

It is not working with chromecast anymore. It needs android 6 and 7 support.
You think with a name brand that things would work but not this brand i have 5.0 lollpop and the app only gose up 4.4 it hasnt been update since 2014 and wont be updated soon think they gave up with this product

Great app in the past but no longer works with this version of Android. For others in my boat and stuck I'm now using CX file explorer to connect to my Toshiba Wireless adapter. Can't verify the product when it's dealing with personal data but at least it's a workaround.
