This course is in the series Chess King Learn (http://chessking.com/guide/android/), which is an unprecedented chess teaching method. Pretty nice app full of end game positions for thorough practice. It is always easy to see why certain moves are suggested, but I can imagine that for a beginner or even a moderate player there might be times when a certain move does not easily make sense. It could become a great app by adding a little more annotation in practice end games. I appreciate that the theory section has a lot of explanation for different end games, and a built-in engine makes it very easy to analyse differen lines.
Well ... I've learned there's way more to King & pawn endings, but there's no instructional content, no explanation of what to do in which position, no guidelines or principles to work with. After playing several dozen problems, I concluded my play was mostly hit-or-miss. Never got to the point where I could say, "Oh, I clearly see what to do in this position."
This trainer won't do. It gives automatic hints by default, although they can be turned off. Even then, the app posts the correct answer before the user makes a move, much of the time. I can't have an endgame trainer that insults the intelligence.
good at showing basic endgame tecniques, the stuff you READ about, but seldom get to put into practice. the fact that you have to solve each set position is a help.
Perfect app for chess endings! Everything is perfect.(of course I recommend that you use a chess endgame theory book along with this app.read the theory, do the examples and practice positions in the book and then do the positions in the app for further practice.)
Shoulder charging concept is new to me. But I understood it clearly with the help of explanation and in built engine.. Excellent way to teach concept from beginners to all level of players
When I begun playing chess in 1963 studying endgames meant strive for days head down on books... now it is so easy with this app! I strongly recommend it to every chess student!
Excellent program 👍 as an optional download to users, (approx 290mb), I suggest embedding a table base into the engine with: gaviota/epd/bin/lomonosov/syzgzy DTZ, I see these available on GitHub, its not hard to implement. Saves battery to. I use them with scidonthego before I saw this app.

It's amazing .. A very useful app almost covers everything about endgames If you can add some more explanation for the rules such as the corresponding squares To identify the principles behind these rules

These tests require full consideration before moving. Can be taken too lightly. Well worth proper effort.
Can and option to repeat the exercices we missed so we don't have to look for it in a pile of exercises
many exercises need to have detailed follow through steps and missing explanations on how a certain strategy would work.

I already loved this app, then they made it better! They've added a video walkthrough of the content, with a computer voice reciting the text. I'm greatly looking forward to exploring this. It will increase the speed and depth at which I can study. My only feedback would be that the voice is a little harsh. I would love it if they improved the voice-over quality. I would, also, love it if they added this feature in more apps. I'm not sure where that would be applicable, but it could be great.
