Total Connect 2.0

Terrible system! Would not recommend to anyone. My builder recommended this installer and system. It has never worked great. I have uninstalled app and reinstalled a number of times, sometimes it would work. For the last several months, it will not let me Arm/Disarm at all remotely. The tech has looked at it several times, thought it was problem with my internet, had Verizon check out everything and even had them install a new router/extender. No luck, will be switching to a new alarm system!

Works very well except for a fairly critical bug that prevents the app from opening (it crashes instantly on open), and seems to permanently corrupt a user account (was never able to fix it by reinstalling app, restart phone, clearing app a have/storage). Basically had to abandon the user account and delete it - good thing it wasn't the Master account... I think it has something to do with Widgets...I added Cameras and door bell camera widgets and that's when the fun started.

Update: this app continues to get worse. Have to attempt to alarm 3-4x before it doesn't give you a failure error. I hate it and will happily be ditching my alarm company in 6 months at the end of my contract to make sure I never have to use this thing again. Glitchy. Slow. Takes forever to update status after you've armed alarm. I usually have to log out and back in to see if it works. Will also say it didn't work but alarm will actually be set.

It's been almost 3 weeks now and the the app still crashes when I try to open it. I look through all the reviews and se there is quite a few people having the same issue as me. Obviously there is something wrong with the app and Android phones. I am not happy at all that i cannot access any of the functions that the app is suppose to provide.

It worked okay for 2 years. Often takes a very long time to connect to the panel. Now the app simply crashes every time I open it. Not a login issue mind you. Didn't change device or update app. I Uninstaller and reinstalled and have the same issue. Infuriating.

Worst reliability. Constant connection issues. Either the app doesn't connect to server or the server dissent connect to the panel. Super frustrating. The entire IT department of Resideo should be fired. Incompetent. Going on for last eight weeks. Same issues with their website too.

The app is very convenient. I would love to see Instant Armed Stay on the main menu , instead of having to go to the keypad. Otherwise, I love how the app works for our family. Thank you for such good service too. Your techs are great!

This app works MAYBE 2/10 times I try it. Most of the time it doesn't have a connection or just loads until I close it and disarm my alarm manually. It seemingly worked much better 2-3 years ago when I downloaded it.

Beyond infuriating to use this app. When it works, it's (clearly) so helpful. But 75% of the time it won't even load. CONSTANT message to refresh... doesn't work. PLEASE figure out these bugs.

Works, but slow. Doesn't integrate with my thermostat. Was hoping for one big happy IoT family in one app. If you're thinking of using this app to control all your Honeywell gear, know that it doesn't support certain thermostats.

March 11 2022 update. App is totally broken!! I can't sign in any more. WTH??!! Used to work fine. Was buggy but it worked for the most part. Now I can't even sign in. "Taking a bit longer than expected". Yeah.... Like forever! Bring back the previous version please.

Horrible app! It was slow and took several tries to connect before but whatever "maintenance" was done 2 days ago has broken it! I tried 5 times to connect to my alarm and it just spins. FIX IT!

March 2022 Update: recently tried to start using this app again. It worked for first night, then buggy. PW not working ( again ). Tried to reset, but keep getting an error that states " Some error occurred. Please try again after sometime". ( which I've tried. ). Really, the system does not recognize my PW, nor able to reset one ? ! ? Its 2022, not 1980...very disappointed. August 2019: Can't ever get signed in. Prove not a robot screen is buggy, can't get past 'Next'. Buggy.

Used to work not too badly,the odd glitch. Now the app won't even open. Log in and the app just disappears. Uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and nothing. Very dissatisfied! It works if I login from my browser,???? Wife has the same problem on her device.

There really should be a way to suppress Total Connect notifications from zones that are designated as 'Silent Alarms' and or when 'Duress User' codes are entered. Kind of defeats the purpose and puts me in unnecessary danger - if everything is else is silent - except for this app - 'screaming' that a Silent Alarm has been activated.

I get genuine/correct push notifications that my doorbell was pushed or sensed motion but the videos don't show up under the "Activity" panel. Please fix this important issue and the app will be golden!

Worked well for a week. Now it says communication error with system and to contact our provider, I did that they said everything is up and running on their end and said contact resideo as its their app malfunctioning, I did that and hit the touch tone option for home security but the lady at resideo said they only deal with thermostats and gave me another number to call. Kind of frustrating I can't fully moniter my security I'm paying monthly for.

Samsung s20 app crashes all the time when I open. Can we get a solution for this problem, uninstall and reinstated several times rebooted my phone nothing worka it still crashes when we open the app. Very disappointed

If your alarm company is using this app, RUN. This app and service is absolute GARBAGE. 19 times out of 20 you can guarantee it will NOT connect to your panel. And the UI is from 9 years ago. Forget night mode. Forget ease of use. A trash app and trash service. 3.2 stars?!?!? HAH!!! Maybe if you're talking NEGATIVE 3.2.

This app is absolutely terrible recently. I don't know when Resideo took over but the app struggles mightily with the most basic tasks (signing in, arming, disarming). Very disappointing.

Absolute peice of junk app. Cannot sign in to disarm. Activating alarm every day for 2 weeks. Cannot use reset password function as it goes to blank screen. I've complained to Honeywell and they have not called back. Ill be looking for a new provider this week.

This app stinks. I can't connect half the time and can't set my alarm or turn it off on first attempts. Takes multiple attempts to set or disarm my alarm.

App is always having issues. I can barely ever use my automation. I have it for arming and disarming, which works most times but barely ever works when I want to turn my heat up on a cold day before I get home. It Agrivates me so much. I'm also a security integrator and sell Resideo products so when the app is slow and hardly working I have to hear it more from my customers. Something has to give I need this app to work

Terrible since last update. Can't access the app at all. Signs in and immediately kicks me out. Crashes after repeated attempts. What the heck?!

Doesn't load half the time. Requires repeat sending of alarm status to change status. The extras are useless. Weather always shows partly cloudy with rain. Spend a few bucks more and go with a company that does not use this app.

This app is getting slower and slower. I have had my main console replaced with a new one within the last year so I doubt it's my console that is slow in responding. Setimes I have to set the thermostats 2-3 times to get them change. A little frustrating.

Extremely slow unreliable crashes all the time I have no idea what I paid for Vivint was way better than this garbage.My house came with this garbage installed so I had no choice but to use them.
