As of 6/23/21 I wanted to give 3 stars due to some recent glitching/lagging/odd ball stuff... BUT I'm giving 4 stars bc total for mobile has been truly amazing. Yeah it could be better but I haven't found anything that can compete with this app (yet). The recent glitches are mostly severe LAG. Take a pic, move to the next picture slot, ***THIS*** is where I see a horrible lag. Not sure if that's the app, my phone camera, or the communication between the two.
was working great for the past four years, but updating to the new Galaxy S10, it takes horrible photos, we really need an update so the photos are not blurry with the total camera. If you you use the system camera, the photo size is too large. The last inspection I did with the system camera resulted in an import file size in excess of 60 mg. When I use the total camera, the resolution is set below the lowest setting in total and cannot be changed
Fails often and sketches get slight changes when uploaded and reviewed in desktop. Operating a new note 10+ android phone and having daily failure issues with this app. Now 3.17.21, latest update has completely messed with this app. Camera options are limited and report sizes are too large. And thats when the camera doesnt fail and randomly start not allowing photos to be taken or uploaded into the report. Very disappointing as time goes, the updates seem to cause more problems than good.
Used this seriously for less than a month. Just had a catastrophic disappearance of entire files from inspection on two properties for no apparent reason. I saved them but didn't upload them. 2 days later all files are gone in Total except cloud files and those cloud files are preinspection. What kind of inspection software automatically deletes your saved inspection sketch and notes after 2 days for no apparent reason and without them even being available in the deleted section!? Beware!
I have been using this for over 2 years. It's great! Barely ever have a problem. I back up my pictures with Google and take a screenshot of the sketch when I'm finish just as an extra precaution. It saves me so much time on the road! Takes a bit of a learning curve. But so worth it!
This app is not compatible with all Android devices. Issue was first reported and confirmed on Feb 5th 2019. Every month Corelogic calls to let me know they know its a problem, but never an eta on the fix. come September it'll be a year since the last update.
Worked great until it didn't! Twice now when on inspection it freezes up while taking pictures on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I wasn't able to finish inspection with tablet. Please fix this soon.
It's a great app, but I work in meters not feet, no way to change it. Doesn't work with Bosch lasers either.
I had it on my ipad (version 3.1) and it worked just fine. I downloaded it on Samsung Zfold (version 8.1) and it is acting up. Sketch mostly ....
Samsung z flip 3. Measurements from Disto X4 not coming into total mobile app. Disto app does import measurements so it is definitely the total mobile app not working correctly.
The app opens and then stops working on my Samsung and it won't work on my Chromebook. Personally I find it useless.
Why does the app access and use my camera when I'm not running it? I wouldn't know except my security software let's me know when the camera is accessed by an app.... What possible legitimate reason is there for this?
Took forever for an Android update and now I can't open or upload a report including one I inspected today. Your update is going to cause me a wasted day reinspecting property. Terrible.
My disto will no longer connect through bluetooth. Any ideas how to fix?

You will incur data loss. No doubt about it; just a matter of time. Tech support will have no solution. At least, none that work. Is it better than its competition? Yes. That should tell you what you need to know about the competition. This is better; not good. Peers that I've spoken to, they don't use the app to take pictures. But, this tech is supposed to be about doing more, with less. Fewer tools. This app is driving me back to a clip board because I literally, never lost a photo using a digital camera. I have watched this app accept my input for taking a picture, Green check. Okay. Happy days? No. Blank photo spot. At least, with a clip board, I don't have to call borrowers for another trip/entry to the property. I don't understand how the claim can be made that this app saves you X amount of time, during an inspection, when it constantly drops pictures. Sketching? Double check everything you draw. Update: 08/29/2021: Just encountered an interesting, data transfer issue, between field inspections. A photo from a field report five days older than the report I'm typing today, shows up in random order, within the other report's field picture pages. How? How can a week old photo just, migrate itself into another field inspection? Why do so many pictures go missing in this software? Why is it so expensive for software that simply falls short in every category except floor covering and utilities? Comical. But, not funny. Stick with your clip board. It's hard to make plywood and paper double cross you, in the field.
