Touch Blocker - Block screen touch

Exactly what I needed, lets me watch videos with earbuds with the phone in my pocket without having to worry about accidental touches, the ability to dim the screen to save battery is also a great touch.

Glad to see I'm not alone, I dont want the notif of touch screen the whole time, it used to work from the icon. Updates should add features, not remove them.

I installed like 10 similar apps and this one is the best. I have a suggestion i would like you could add to this app. I would like a "swipe to unlock" method . like there is in the app called C Floating.

Awesome app! With this app I can go for a run while listening to YouTube. To developer: consider adding a paid version for those willing to express gratitude.

Does not work from the notification bar, it only works from the notification tray but I want it to work from the notification bar at the top that I can quickly access

Scary! One of those apps that causes anxiety. As I was afraid it locked the screen and all hardware buttons (although I didn't select that option) and the only way to recover was to restart the phone. I cringed that that might fail. Also Block on proximity doesn't work. And thank god I did not select an option to enable the lock on boot, I would probably never unlock the phone. What a nightmare

I use to be able to hit the icon to lock the screen but now I need to hit the notification instead. Can I just hit the icon instead? I like it better that way

This works perfectly, it blocks everything including hardware keys and notifications (just allow it too, on your settings). It also lets you unlock with volume keys which is important because my phone is broken and it touches everything on my screen It also has a black screen to save battery. I suggest you go through the options to get best experience

Works great on my Galaxy Tab. Set the unblock count to 5 to prevent accidental unlocking by the user. It's also able to block the three stubborn front keys, where other utilities miserably fail. Ads are almost absent and never interfere anyway. The unblock icon hides itself end re-appears briefly upon touching the screen. Never seen a utility before which does everything correctly. Touch Blocker is a superior set-and-forget utility. Thank you very much!

The app is working very good. I was pleased to see so many features like proximity sensor unlock, etc. Everything was good. But I am experiencing a problem and I have a solution too. Can you add a feature of having pin or pattern to unlock along with the multiple taps. That is when I want to unlock, I would multi tap the lock and then I would enter the pin to unlock. This prevents the screen from unlocking automatically when placed in pocket which is a big problem for many. Thanks in advance.

App needs improvement. It's a great idea. However, you cannot lock the screen and watch Netflix. Even with the timer delay on. The timer delay only allows you enough time to watch something before the screen locks. Then the screen is locked, and Netflix is paused.

The block screen button in the notification panel is not working.

Nonsense Disable hardware keys option is tr but doesn't work dummy option 1st use & check ur app

I thought this app would be useful, but it locked every single button. I couldn't even restart my phone, I had to wait for it to die.. And when I selected use on startup, it bricked my phone because the menu to unlock never appeared. I lost all my important data because of this. Please don't use this app.

Pity that backlight dimming does not work on my device, I have to manually dim before activating and then restore after deactivating. Additionally an option for a white background would be nice, for LCD screens. Perhaps a color picker even... Info screen could mention the quick tile, I wouldn't know about it if I didn't look at the pictures. 5 stars for a good, free application without any advertisement annoyance...

Its not blocking navigation buttons...

Hi there. This is the brother of the one who put this on my phone. I need to reinstall this so i can get my volume back. And you can gain control over your phone ifyou reset it. But if you made the app to where you can't do that, you would probably have to take it off the market, because your phone would be useless then. So as long as you can disable it, great app for pranks. And that is coming from someone who just got pranked with this app. Anyway byebye👋

I tried dozens of blockers and this one is the top for my Android 8 Oreo phones. Easy to set up and works reliably. Easy to stop app once I'm done. Has quick settings icon so you can start it with any app in foreground. Lots of options for customizing how it works.

Nice and clean design, does the job for which intended. Not a fan of the huge padlock logo in the middle of the screen when the touch-lock is enabled, and there doesn't seem to be an option to hide, move or shrink it (that i can find).

Does exactly what i want it to. Only thing i would like to see is the widget start the lock timer instead of immediately locking the screen. With the advent of dual screen phones there is no way to lock the input on the second screen while an app is running because there is no notification bar on that screen.

Great app, really helps out my work as i need a work app active on screen and can still put my phone in my pocket, however, occasionally very rarely it stops recognizing the unblock with volume keys despite them being enabled, also hardware keys stop being blocked then. I typically force close the app then and re-enable all app permissions each time this happens so it is rather tedious to go through that each time. If it gets fixed i'll give 5 stars for good service! :)

It messed up with my hard keys (Home buttons). It was doing all good until it messed up with my hard keys. The keys randomly malfunctioned and won't work. I had to reboot my phone when it happened many times. One time that my hard keys froze, I opened my Settings through my Notification bar/ drawer. When I uninstalled it, the hard keys went back to normal without me rebooting my phone.

Best ad free touch blocker app. There are many options to unblock the screen when block. There's option to block the power and volume keys. Auto starts on reboot (if you need) Nice app. Thanks for sharing the app with us... 🙏🏽

overlay ruins it for me. (3/5) i need to read while locking the touch buttons (recent apps, home, back) i cant read with a padlock eating up the center of my screen. please find a way to lock ONLY soft buttons WITHOUT display lock and WITHOUT OVERLAY. 5-star app if these issues are addressed *instant edit: i figured out a way to suit my needs using the provided volume button controls, thanks dev! 5-stars

ita an overall app i was looking for. the obe thing id change would be to have a battery saving feature so it doesnt use up so much energy when the screen is off. my phone also gets really heated when i use the app, not sure why though.

Utilising on an s9. Bixby button presses will still start up Bixby. Navigation buttons (soft keys at bottom) are still accessible. Power button still works. These features makes it too easy for my two year old to shut down the video he is watching. Otherwise the touch screen part works well. Built in android Pin to home, solves nav and Bixby, but not power.
