What a brilliant idea, and what a frustrating app. It simply doesn't start at all. And keeping in mind that the last update was in 2015, it probably never will. Sadness :(
the game immediately crashes upon launch. I used to have this game but now I dont think I'll come back to this until they fix it. again.
This used to be my favorite game, but has since completely stopped working. Samsung Galaxy S8+
tried to open it in my phone, I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 and it keeps crashing every time
Last update release was in 2015. Doesn't work on the One Plus 6T
Can't play it, crashes when opened. (phone One Plus 5)
I cant even open up the app. it keeps on kicking me out.
Won't even launch. Waste of time for me on my Oppo Android Phone.
crashes on start up
Used to be good. Now I can barely get into the app.
Cannot start the game
Game wouldn't even open
Crashes on opening
keeps stopping...lame
You can play these songs on PC without having to pay. The touch features for note duration are crap in the app. It makes it sound like you're playing a glockenspiel. Every time you finish playing a song it loads a very loud ad that you have to wait 5 seconds to get out of. If you try to exit the ad early, the app tries to force you to buy the song pack you were just playing on. If you try to exit the song in the middle of playing, it exits the app entirely. Uninstalling.
I've been playing this game on browser for awhile. It's super fun. Got the app once I had a phone that supported it, and bought all the songs right away. This app is terrible. Pressing on the lower screen is not loud at all, essentially making 3/4 of the screen useless. No held notes. Sounds tinny. Zero adjustable options. A real gem wrapped in garbage. What a shame.
While this app does have some songs unavailable to the web version, they're locked behind paywalls along with most songs, including ones that are free in the web version. The advertisements are so grating that they completely destroy the mood every time you finish a song. The app works fine while in playing mode, but the menus use up an ungodly amount of RAM, to the point where it's almost unusable.
I don't know what the developer was thinking when he decided that $12 was a fair price to ask for something more than a bare-bones selection of songs, but I'm not paying-- especially when there are so many on the web version. The idea is nice, and while the notes sound weird when you play staccato, it's not too hard to do it all legato. Besides the lack of lag that I seem to get from time to time on desktop, this version is vastly inferior.
This unique app is the best way for someone like me, with zero piano experience, to experience the creative and expressive thrill of playing these many classical music works. It's brilliant in conception, and very nice in its execution. It's not 100% glitch free on all platforms, but there's so much genuine musical pleasure here, you can overlook it.
I have to hold one finger on the screen and play with the other to get the notes to "stick". You can control the tempo which makes it feel a lot more like actually playing an instrument compared to "tap on the rhythm" games. I love the simplicity of the app, it does one thing, and there's no bs points, score or whatever. If you like to play instruments and have the patience to learn the songs or have songs you already know in the app I recommend this app. Issues: it checks the Internet everytime to see if you bought it, so if you have no Internet or their servers are down the app does not unlock.
Doesn't start on Google Pixel 2 XL or Motorola Droid Turbo 2. I love the concept, but on every device I have tried it on (six so far) the audio becomes blended and unbearable. At this point I am sure it's a problem with the apps and website, and not the devices.
Web version is great minus the few songs that are mobile exclusive. However considering the price and the poor quality of the mobile version, I guess I'm stuck with the browser version.
Way too expensive for my blood to buy the whole pack. Ads are really annoying
I remember this coming onto Reddit and loving it from the get go, so naturally when it came to mobile I was very excited. At first, with only one song available I was a bit dissapointed, BUT seeing as it is such a good app, I had to buy it, so a good $15 well spent.
The performance of the app is sluggish when choosing a piece to play.. Otherwise great app especially with the one time in app purchase to unlock everything
Game crashed immediately after launching and would not start. Also the web version is broken and you can't play anything other than the free ones, there's literally no option to play, it just gives you links to the mobile version. 0/10 would not recommend.
