The email now looks like the crappy mobile software that the rest of the world develops these days. Complete with a stupid hamburger button and oversized headers. They force it down your throat like security companies do. No legacy screen selections. This has rendered my phone useless for email. Add the option for the old UI, and ill go back to 5 stars.

Dear Support team, I would like to note that previously I have paid for the license of a full version and it didn't have any time limitations but now after reinstalling the application I got a demo version only with 30 days limit which is already going to end. Hope the situation will be solved and I could give a 5 stars for this great App.

Update 2016-09-23. New yellow version broke calendar functionality. Still outdated despite redesign. Switching to Nine Exchange. Previous review: Using TD since 2010 or so, the best app for Exchange hans down. However, the Ui is outdated, icons are ugly and cannot be organized or replaced. Update June 2014: Symantec purchased NitroDesk and will most likely ruin it as many others in the past. Very sad.

Generally liked the new look, but cannot edit recipient list when I reply all. When I tap on a recipient to delete them, there is a cross to delete them, but it is too small and completely impossible to tap on. I am using a Samsung S4 mini. Pls fix and you get 5 stars from me.

Used TD for years and was very satisfied, but over the last few months new email compositions would not get sent. They appeared to work correctly and send but instead were just disappearing into the ethos. Tried Outlook but it has font scaling issues. Have switched to Nine which just works.

Getting license expired message. There is NO ACTIVATE BUTTON. Link in app to purchase doesn't work, goes to 404 message. Can't find touchdown key to purchase on Play store. Work email app has same logo so I got that. Doesn't unlock touchdown. This is A HUGE PROBLEM because I need my work email. I WOULD PURCHASE A LICENSE if there was a way to do so.

I've used this app for my work email accounts for the past 4 years and I haven't found a better app. Although it has had its issues over the years, the newest update is the best yet. My phone gets notifications before my computer does and the amount of customization is unmatchable. I would recommend this to anyone.

Does not integrate with existing email/calendar. Just another application to manage. Does not update schedule on wearable devices. This ap has caused me to miss important meetings, it completely left critical meetings off of my schedule. I am beyond incensed. I wish that I could give it less than one star, it's beyond useless. It could be carreer ending.

...doesn't sync well or consistently. Sometimes you will delete things and they keep showing up. Other times you will delete an email and it will delete it from the entire server, never to be seen again. Finally, the calendar function is an issue because if you cancel a meeting it will not alert everyone that is on the invite list. Very dissapointing when you are using it for work and it becomes a hindrance rather than a useful tool.

I use this app more than 5 years. I was very satisfied with this app until the last update (from Symantec). I really hate this new look. It is very poorly arranged (some buttons are in bottom, some on the right side), legend of buttons overflow to the second line, actions as i.e. mark as unread I must choose twice (why I must too much clicking?), size of font is too big in overview of emails, some captions I cannot read, because it shows only few first letters, ... I am very frustrated with this new update. BTW: The screenshots in google play are from old version (before this new update), so this is a deception to all customers, who download or buy this app!!!

With a recent update, the app no longer honors my phone's "do not disturb" feature, making it abysmal for IT support. I now have to get EVERY email notification rather than urgent ones only, so I get dozens some nights at all hours that are unrelated to my work. This is actually straining my marriage. Fix your app.

So I just upgraded to a Samsung galaxy s7 edge. I just got touchdown installed. I have used it on a previous phone just fine. The key app is installed but it won't accept any email account I put in there. I have removed and reinstalled the application and still the same thing. It finishes the wizard and takes me back to configuring a new account. Not happy! $20 wasted.

A. G. u. Nov 13, 2016

Since the update the calendar crashes and requires reloading the app each time. They also removed the 1x4 upcoming event widget. Stupid moves by a bigger company that can't get out of its own way. Contacted support... non-existent... they have lost my entire company of phones...

Seems like a good product on the whole, but the notification stopped working. It can be configured to sync - but it doesn't notify even though I re-enabled the setting. This happened since I turned it off for a vacation. My co-worker had the same experience.

Liv. S. Oct 24, 2017

Charging $19 for the Pro version only to end-of-life the product later is disingenuous to say the least. I never received any notification about this and had I not randomly stumbled on this I would have had a bad surprise later. Symantec, you stink as usual. Buying up a company just to shut them down when you can't get you sh*** together is horrible.

Been using this app for years. For a long time it's been the most powerful mobile app for exchange users but it always had an ugly UI with non standard functionality. That's a thing of the past now. Also this is the only mobile app I've seen that lets you alert audibly and visually using colors on your text and even the phone charging light. Love it.

A. G. u. Aug 30, 2016

It was an excellent app with great widgets that I've been using for 6+ years. However the newest update moved many of the commonly used buttons around making it difficult to use one handed. It also requires more presses to accomplish the same task that I used to be able to do with one touch.

Slow, clumsy. New design, silly spinning icons take up valuable screen space for useful information from emails, calendar. Ridiculous changes. Bring back last version until you can make a useful update. UPDATE:. After using. This is a terrible user interface. Clumsy, have to jump all over the screens to navigate, calendar is almost useless if you want to change views. New email "bubbles" are not adequate for longer group names-cannot distinguish between. Fix this!

A. G. u. Oct 13, 2016

This app is expensive for the uninspired ugly interface which is clunky and inefficient. On a modern Android handset you can't even request the client check for new mail because the menu key doesn't exist on any recent phone. Perhaps the developers will use another e-mail application to see how to improve their app, they could start with gmail. The settings are cumbersome and their layout makes them time consuming. I'd suggest any other email application on the market before this one.

poor user experience. with blackberry gone, this app (often forced by central IT department) is the best argument to switch to Apple. directory search is slow, finding a mail can't interrupted (so you wait half a minute while the mail you're looking for is behind a waiting screen) and even canceling a mail throws a 'please wait' box. please fire a few of your marketing staff and hire some UI designers. not to change the look, but to make the app useable again.

Ole. G. Nov 19, 2016

Forced to use at work due to SD card encryption Lollipop bug and it is terrible. Unintuitive interface, appointment reminders intermittent, archived/moved emails don't disappear until a manual refresh, conversations not treated as such when moving emails, Inbox list moves to the top after every action, no way to filter for read messages, search slow, GAL name lookup slow, copy-paste buggy, the list goes on. You're better off using OWA in your mobile browser, than trying to be productive with this client.

Unbelievable...I've been using this app for a very long time now and I can't believe that the SEARCH feature is still total junk! Come on Symantec...I get that Nitrodesk may not have had the resources to fix this but you do! Fix this issue please. Every SINGLE time I search for an email the app hangs WAY to long and crashes! Please fix this issue.

And. H. Aug 25, 2016

It looks prettier and in general email is good. But triage of emails is important for a smart phone so it is a step backward that to red-flag an email now takes three clicks where it used to take one. This is why I stopped using TouchDown on ipad. Please can we have a dedicated flag button on each email instead of a pull down menu. The Calendar and task components are also far short of the competition and should be upgraded.

Bri. B. Oct 14, 2016

I paid for the full app from its original author. Norton cannibalizes them 8 yrs later & breaks multiple critical (And also previously stable) features to create a cosmetic 're-branding' release. I filed a bug report that the sole & crucial feature for which I bought the app had been broken. The response I received was: 'this is a common feature request, but not a priority'. Pardon?! You nullified the value of my investment & gave neither remediation nor refund. If I could rate lower I would do so! 📉⚠️☣️💩

If you edit inline for forward emails, attachment will be gone even it is downloaded. You can only forward attachment without using edit inline function. Touchdown just loves to screw you or make you look bad in front of your clients or your boss. It's absolutely not acceptable for an app at this price...And remains buggy after all these years

Luk. M. Dec 14, 2016

Was the best Email app available. Now has to be the worst. Battery drain, lag and horrible user interface. Its a shame I paid $20 years ago and was well worth it. Now I wouldn't spend a cent on the app. So bad I had to uninstall it. Now just using Gmail for exchange email. So disappointing.

Chr. G. Sep 22, 2016

This app was fantastic. Since the Symantec facelift, it's been horrible. I no longer can search for contacts on my company's Outlook Exchange Server. It will only pull contacts from my phone. This was called "Global Contact Search" on the old version. It has now been removed, essentially rendering that app USELESS in a business environment using Outlook Exchange Server. It was NEVER BROKE, WHY TRY TO FIX IT? I'll tell you why. It's because some Product Manager needed to put their stamp on it.
