TouchPal Emoji Keyboard

Love the keyboard and always prefer to use it over the original installed in my phone. But there are soooo many ads/pop-up screens that disrupt what you're doing and take you to a new screen which requires you to exit out of 2 pop-ups before returning to the original screen. Could we just have ad banners or something a little less invasive?? It's 2019, social media will have ads and I get it. But you can usually scroll past them and ignore it, but not these.

This app is awful! Everytime a phone call ends, an add pops up. It's sometimes a video with sound, which is annoying. It has an option to pay a small amount for add-free use, but then says that it's not currently available. This app is now giving me notifications about a critical need for an update, but Google Play shows no update option! It just shows an option to uninstall or open the app. This application is awful, and I am uninstalling it now.

It shuts down regularly mid typing. Then gives you the option to send a report, then doesn't even if you do it. The searchable gifs are nice, but barely load or can't be used on all message platforms. The ads are ridiculous, so if you go to correct a mistake you can easily hit a pop up ad and have to wait on it to load so you can close it and go back to what you're doing. I would really like to just go back to my Google keyboard, but I can't fully uninstall this, only the updates.

I got harassed by ads on a constant basis. There were times I had to turn off my wifi and uninstall the updates because I was getting spammed. If not for this it could probably become one of the best keyboards out there. As it is, I'll have to uninstall it and find something else. One last thing: maybe put the language option someplace else. Every time I mistap, I end up with a Chinese keyboard.

I have had the premiere account for over 3 years now, and every so often I get a pop up on my phone from the TouchPal app. This time it's for some coin thing. Shouldn't having the premier account prevent such pop ups, especially when I'm not even in our using TouchPal?! I've messaged in before about the issue and never got a fix or even a reply. Do to that and that alone I'm giving it a lower review. TouchPal is a great keyboard, but the lack of response or resolution brings down the rating.

All we want is some nice emojis and a swipe keyboard. This new AI nonsense is unnecessary as there are far better solutions out there. Even more annoying is that the emoji shortcut is now relegated to the secondary function of the Enter key with the AI shortcut taking its place. It truly is a love-hate relationship as this is the best swipe to text app I've used and it has some really good emojis but TouchPal is utterly dogged by bloatware. Reply: I don't like the AI because I didn't ask for it and it renders the emoji interface secondary. Your claim that the new position of loading emojis is "more convenient" is utterly absurd. It is more convenient to press a button as you did before than press and hold as you have to now.

Can you perhaps add further customization to the keyboard, namely with the edit feature? I liked the previous iteration, where it was possible to have the edit feature easy and present to click on first, and I would much enjoy the ability to add that back, along with change other icons that show up on the keyboard. I do believe adding the new and different widgets and icons to the top of the keyboard without a way to remove them (if not an easily accessible way) is quite frustrating, as it changes the look and feel of the keyboard itself without personal input. Would it be possible to make it easier to change, remove or add certain widgets from the settings, and, if so, could you consider that for the next update? Thank you! loved this app for the longest time. as a premium subscriber, I'm still getting the ads and I have to re-login all the time. also bring back Google voice instead of the worthless built in voice. I'm very close to canceling because of this. I've tried to contact support multiple times but never ever get a response.

i give four stars because I've used this app for years and it's genuinely one of my favorite things. i understand the ads are necessary for income to keep the ad running, but is it absolutely necessary for them to keep popping up every five seconds?? if it continues then I'll have to uninstall because it's ridiculous. Fix it please

Not very happy with this update. After I updated the keyboard my phone was slower and there's things that changed that I didn't like. I don't care for the key pad vibration, which I had turned off before the update and now can't seem to turn off again. A lock screen was also added which is completely useless and annoying. I could be in the middle of an app and the lock screen will just pop up. Don't know why that was added to a keyboard update. At this point I'm about to uninstall it entirely.

Giving 3 stars coz of the annoying lock screen. Ive tried everything just to turn it off and even hit the disable locker but still showing without my permission. It happened before but after disabling, it was gone. But now, it's kinda persistent and annoying at the same time. I dont like that feature coz it has ads that will just show randomly. Plus Im okay with the screen lock I have with my phone. Please fix it..

Best keyboard around. Had a problem with too many ads. Got an informative question from the TouchPal support team that made me realize that my Android had lost the ability to automatically login to my Premium subscription after system reboot. Manual login resolved the issue -- no more ads. Great and fast service. Thanks a lot. 😀

Themes area good here. Better than any other keyboards available by it has to many ads. Its that annoying that one cannot withstand this keyboard even for 2-3 hours! Specially people of 50-60 years bracket cannot understand what's going on while typing a text. It feels like something pressed by mistake. Apart from this when a incoming calls come it goes to notification shade instead of drawing over all apps running (Full screen) and the entire screen shows your irritating ads!

The swiping is very good & I loved the pretty keyboards with the number line INCLUDED. However, I couldn't disable the sound from the key presses & this is a must for me. Also, the keyboards that I downloaded caused UNWANTED ads to pop-up on the home screens on my phone & tablet. If these 2 problems are eliminated I might actually use TouchPal instead of Swype.

TOUCHPAL itself is irritating me ever since they made third party applications unusable for certain devices. The choice of default applications is a waste since you cannot choose the one you want to and they are forcing you to use touchpal against your will and I would really like to say that this app is not useful and not cute. Buying a new phone is the solution for me in the future.

Rubbish because of the excessive unrepentant useless ads Sequel to your response. It is after updating it that the useless ads started so I deleted the update. Unfortunately I can't delete the app for some absurd reasons. I will be watching videos on YouTube and the app will bring advert. I will be listening to music, it'll bring advert. Any small thing, advert. Please put uninstall button. Thank you.

Started getting pop up ads on my phone randomly. Eventually worked my way to uninstalling this app & no more pop up ads for days now. Honestly, ads for a free app are fine but making them pop up on my phone when using any other app or keyboard is unacceptable. I rarely use this keyboard now anyway, themes and stickers have to be downloaded separate from the actual keyboard app. Super frustrating since I loved all the options but it just becomes clutter & high maintenance.

I very much dislike it. Most of the time the swipe text will put words no where remotely close to what I was typing. I can type very quickly on any other keyboard but this one constantly has buttons that stick types the wrong word and is very slow worst app ever. I very much dislike how we're forced to have it on her phone and how it doesn't work properly ever if I could give it a zero Stars I would.

Worst app ever forced upon an OS! Intrusive, unstable and won't uninstall. Somehow manages to get worse with every update. Keep updating thinking it can't possibly get any worse, but it never fails to disappoint everytime. If you can avoid anything to do with this app, I recommend doing so...

TouchPal is quite very very slow at loading words and other things. My phone has a 3GB RAM and perfectly works well with other keyboard applications. Also please add the option to change emoji color from the prediction, not until I go to the emoji menu. Boomtext has also disappeared. Please create a good update with these things.

For those who don't know if you're not able to remove this app then in the play store on the app's page click up in the top right corner and disable auto updates. That's going to prevent every attempt at this app clogging your phone with bloatware. In app settings on your device remove all permissions and uninstall any updates. Hopefully this helps you.

Love the keyboard, HATE the ads. The lock screen gets an extra lock screen that is not only annoying, but started playing an ad at 8am. Voices started talking out of nowhere! I deleted it immediately after that. I don't like ads when I'm using something, I definitely don't want them randomly going off.

The ads on this app are so annoying. sometimes when I'm trying to type a message, an ad would just pop up on the screen then it would just take me to the advertised site and wipe off my entire message. I have no choice but to uninstall this nonsense! ads shouldn't be on keyboards!

Good app but desperately needs an update to include the animated keyboards. Please don't add any adverts though as I'm sick of closing them after every phone call in your other version. Had to uninstall the 2019 version because of ads. Also need to put a search option in, I don't want to scroll the lot looking for Xmas keyboards
