While the app offers the ability to purchase single use tickets ($2) or a day pass ($6) you are unable to purchase them unless you spend at least $10, defeating the purpose of the single and day passes unless you're buying multiple. Edit to add more info: When I select a single ticket, it states I need to make a $10 minimum purchase. I have zero reason to lie, but thanks for the insinuation. Dropping to 2 stars.

the camera on the bus to read the qr code is super finicky, you have to have the code lined up just right otherwise it won't work. if the sun in shining on the screen, good luck seeing how you need to get out lined up. this is one of the few times where I'd say the TSA has done something better. something where you set the phone screen on top of the camera would work much better. nfc should also be a feature so you can use it just like you would with one of the physical cards

Once you tap purchase the only way to get out of the purchase screen is by force stopping the app. The back button does not work as you've suggested, which is exactly why I left this review in the first place. This is the reason the local transit system forcing people to move over to a hashed together app is a horrible idea. At least the paper passes worked as intended.

Edit: Sadly app started working. Now my biggest complaint is that if you put $ in your account, you can't use that $ to get day pass. You can only get 1 way trips. I just put $10 on and tried to get daypass. Wouldn't let me use the $10. Insisted I use credit card. This app is great! I loaded $10 on it for one way trips. So far none of the buses have been able to read the qcode on the app and so the drivers tell me not to worry about it and take a seat.

Unable to pay for tickets. there's some glitch where I'm supposed to put in my full name, for billing. I put in my first name and then no matter what else I type it keeps repeating my first name. Unable to add last name to complete payment, so completely worthless. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times. I've checked my keyboard settings etc.

Going to edit review. I fixed my login problems. Going from one star to five stars. I already added a payment method. So far I purchased a few all day passes, no problem I like the way the app works on my phone no problems processing on the busses. It really saves me money and saves me time no digging into pockets for the fare especially when I am carrying a few bags. Thanks for your support.

I was not able to get the app to work. Bus depot did not have anyone trained to fix the problems. I was told to purchase the card due to the amount of problems people were having with the app. Called the company it took dats for a reply then was told to talk to the people at the bus depot who as I mentioned before told me they were not trained to fix prolems with the app. I lost $40 on a monthly pass. It does not allow you to change you password nor did it recognize the password used to set up.

Even if you want to use the app only as a method to pay fares, you still need location enabled. Please develop some reapect for user privacy, and only requir GPS to be enabled when one needs to locate a bus. In addition, the app runs all the time. The only way to close it is to uninstall it, which I did. I'll continue to try the app, now and then, to see if the developer has decided my privacy is as important to them as to me. If, however, they require GPS to be enabled, I'll be gone.

It works....mostly. I haven't not been able to use it yet. But I have to attempt to open the app 15+ times usually. I get a "touch pass has stopped working" notice a majority of the time when trying to open the app. Definitely needs an update for stability.

It's alright, if you are very tech savvy, this is for you. Trying to scan my phone in takes two or three times longer than just tapping the card. I am just going to get a new card honestly, I am bad at keeping my phone charged, so a physical copy is much more beneficial to me.

Counted transfers as a ride, using the last few rides I had left to go make a little money. Now this heart patient is having to walk all the way home because there's no customer service number and the bus service that they use on the system refuses to do anything about it. Saying they only deal with cards they don't deal with any of the online apps. Use caution when using this app.

The app doesnt allow me to view my transaction history nor does it show the ticket ive purchased for the county or regular fares tickets, and ive purchased more than one. Does it still expire by thr end of the day, and I wasnt able to use them. So am I able to get those fares/ money back? or it should have the option to change the ticket purchase date if it was not or couldn't be used. It keeps crashing and or stopping.

My local public transit system just eliminated their paper passes and went to this system. I have two very important appointments tomorrow morning and am trying to buy my needed day pass and it isn't working. I've tried three times and it just keeps taking me back to the screen at the start of the buying process without buying my pass.

I am trying to purchase fares for the Cascades East Transit in anticipation of skiing for the days of Dec. 13th to Dec. 19th at Mt. Bachelor, but I keep getting an error message ""Your Account is not eligible for fare product purchases using the TouchPass Mobile App". There doesn't seem to be any way to verify WHY my account is not eligilble. I have already added a payment method and verified my phone number- what more do I need to do? Or is this error due to the passes with the Cascades East Transit not yet being available? In addition to that, the app is frequently crashing when I select an Agency. I'm using an Android phone and the app closes almost immediately after I select an agency.

LTD RIDERS DO NOT USE THIS APP; I recommend using cash until this is sorted. I've read the developer recommended solution to the fare purchasing debacle, and after logging out, exiting the app, then restarting I was still unable to add fares (and I tried THREE separate times). This app is malfunctioning for so many users, but hasn't seen an update in nearly twelve months. THIS IS A GIANT RED FLAG; hopefully I wasn't just phished. Developer response is a sham as well. Claiming not to understand.

I had this app a day, and I needed a bus back home from work. I now have SIX pending transactions in my account that I'm unsure of how much will charge because the app wouldn't let the payment go through, and yet STILL no confirmed tickets or fares I can use. This is beyond just an oversight, and seems blatant that the app still charges WITHOUT GIVING FARES. Fix this.

Bought 40 rides n it only wants to work 1/2 the time and always shows me in a negative balance, like I'm owning after I just laid nearly $60 down! Bus driver tells me to go to customer,service but she keeps saying I'm owning cuz that's what it says and that's final! Absolutely ridiculous! She wouldn't even look or listen when I was trying to show her my receipt & rides that's supposed to be available regardless of the little -$2 for the last ride it took off but never corrected itself!! Delete!

This app is absolutely awful. 9 times out of 10 I'm completely unable to even buy a bus pass, it tells me my card information is incorrect even though it IS NOT. And then eventually it decides I DO have the right card info and takes my money, after I've already missed the bus. This has hallenee at least 10 times now and I am FED UP WITH THIS BS. I wish my local transit had made their own app or used an actually reliable program :( WISH I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS

I decided to use the touch pass app when I found myself taking the bus more often with everything I had going on! I purchased an Adult 20 Ride Pass but one morning when attempting to get on the bus my barcode wouldn't scan & still won't scan! The bus driver refused to let me ride without paying the fare so I had to go inside the travel center and purchase a touch pass card & load another $25 dollars just to get to work. I've reached out to the for a refund & haven't gotten any response!

I would love to use this app for the LTD bus system but it just sits on "download pending". How is it that your last update was in MARCH when LTD just rolled out their touchpass system in AUGUST? App won't download and you barely seem to be on top of clearly necissary updates. Rambling out a verbatim line about the systems your app is supposed to work on doesn't address the fact that a consumer clearly isn't able to run it on their systems. I will be shocked if LTD stays with you long.

Do not use this app! Takes control of your money and will allow anyone who gets your phone to charge your credit card. If it allowed purchases to be charged out of the loaded balance it might be ok, any passes must be charged to your credit card. Now I'm stuck with a balance I will never use. Also no way to remove a credit card so you cant charge your kids bus pass without letting your kid have full access to your credit card. Appears to be a short cut job just to steal tax dollars

Tried to type in my name for the credit card, then was confounded when after typing "Matthew J", every letter I typed resulted in another "J". Tried deleting the whole line of text but still could only type "J J J J J J" regardless of what I was actually typing on the default Android Gboard keyboard. I was able to go into another app, type my name correctly, then copy and paste the text into TouchPass.

Mostly garbage app. Can't use it to pay for more than one person, which reeeaaally sucks if you have kids with you. Won't let me buy day passes due to minimum transaction amount, and it won't let me add additional day passes to get over the munimum transaction amount. The scanner on the busses doesn't read the code without a bunch of fidgeting around.

I downloaded the app and paid for a monthly pass. I completed the transaction and there is no sign that anything happened. I don't know if I have pending charges and I can't get the bus pass I supposedly paid for. Thankfully I'm not stranded somewhere. Not acceptable.

Suggestion: instead of saying "you didn't offer enough information" give your contact info in reply and ask to forward the info. Edit: if you read the the developer agreement for Googleplay (apple has a similar one) you are required to troubleshoot and communicate to your consumers (actual users of your app) violation if this rule can lead to your removal as a developer and app. You can look it up. Also a low score doesn't help either.
