Doesn't work with Huawei Phones. Bought it whilst I had a Samsung phone, which it worked with, but now useless.
So far it was 14.99 wasted. This is another piece of junk. So far my model of tv and set top box is not included. For IR why does it have 3 things I have never heard of. Why is there an ip needed for ir? I don't get it. I'm old and this is far more time wasting than a so-so harmony that took 3 minutes to setup online. Thanks but no thanks.
After the Android 4.4.4 update on the Verizon Galaxy Note 3, this remote has stopped working. UPDATE: The alternate IR works perfectly. Still love the remote.
I've been a user of this app for years. It has worked well on my Galaxy Tab 2, but since a forced factory reset , now I find that my receiver code does not work anymore . I have asked TS Tech Support twice to assist by adding the exact code needed rather than one of the shared codes. To date, the only thing they have provided is the automated email indicating someone will be in contact within two business days. It has been nearly two weeks now. I'm giving up and moving back to multiple remotes or purchase of a competitors remote control system. My advise is that the app works quite well as long as all of your equipment is already a part of their current codes list. Keep in mind though, that any help you might need will be met with a yawn! A side note: I was one of the app purchasers when it was first released, at which time any questions were addressed within hours on the day of communication. I can only surmise that a change of hands took place at some point and the current "team" does not have the same interest in their app patrons.
I love the interface and setup was a breezed. Much prefer the layout over Peel on my galaxy tab. It does run some much more obscure devices. Cannot get to stay connected to Roku over ip. No. This is not fixed.
waste of money, better off getting a real logitech alk In one. This thing makes no sense. Terrible interface.
No longer works used to be one of my favorite apps but no longer detects my internal ir blaster.
It worked great on a few Samsung devices, but after forced update it is broken on a note 2 and my s4.
This app was awesome when i had a GS4 but now it does not Work at all on mt note 4.
I used this app for over a year before finding another. TouchSquid is pp expensive, a pain to set up, and the UI is super clunky. No where near worth $20. I now use Smart Remote for $7, which works better, is a quarter the file size, and has home screen button widgets. I feel like I totally wasted money on this TouchSquid app.
I bought this app back when I got my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 last Christmas and world great and still works great. But I just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and can't get it to work at all I wish it did... I've gotten other remote apps to work so I know it's not the blaster that is a problem. I hope this can get fix would love to make a 5 star
Updated phone to kitcat 4.4.4 needed to check alt. IR for remote to work in settings of remote. Other than that it works great.
Galaxy Note Edge, Android 5.0.1... Doesn't seem to be communicating with the IR anymore
I love this app. Hospital waiting room TV blaring talk shows at full volume? No problem. Overly excited sports fan yelling at the screen at the pub? No problem. Just load up the proper TV info and shut 'em down!
Amazing app that works great and is exceeded by phenomenal customer support.
Probably the best app on the android market! Very functional and polished!
Used this application for a long time, first on Galaxy Tab2, then Galaxy S4. Full harmony macros. Amazing! Super responsive developer!
$19-$39 and months later and still no widget. KitKat has opened support for IR, my crystal ball says a cheaper app with widget capabilities will come soon.
Horrible graphics, app doesn't work with most devices. Waste of money.
Needs more set top box options
Of the 4 devices in my basement, only thing it is not working with is the Westinghouse TV. Tried all the possible options under Westinghouse brand. Other than that, works out well. Now just gonna figure out rest of the remote which shouldn't be too hard.
the best remote app by far. my only wish would be better functionality with the xbox one but they seem to be working on it. also, dev support is amazing with these guys. pricey app but seriously, it's worth it for the support alone
Installed this the other day to control all of the A/V gear in the house. Was a little disappointed initially that our Joytech Switcher wasn't supported (but to be fair it was an obscure device)... one email to customer support later, and was really pleased to get a quick reply acknowledging that support for the device would be looked at. Wasn't expecting to hear more as this was over the xmas/new year period (and everyone needs a holiday!). However, I got a second email 24 hours later to say that the device had been added!! *Really* pleased at the speed and effectiveness of the support. As for the app itself - well it works brilliantly!
I have renewed faith in my Galaxy Note 10.1 thanks to this app! The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I want 1 more thing! Call me greedy but after paying $20 for an app I wish there was a way to activate the command on my tablet from my IR-less Galaxy S3 through wifi to my Note 10.1 tablet. Kinda using it like a blaster. But its an awesome app and again I am being greedy.
Love this app, works great on my Note 8
I got a Curtis DVD player and every thing but the pause function work s ..but awesome otherwise. .Great app..wish it had ability to rotate the remote so it faces up
Went for a few years with no updates, but recently they've been maintaining the app again. Works great with my Xiaomi MI5. There is a setting where you can choose the alternative IR blaster, some pho es require this.
