This could be a very good app if not for ads after hearing a phrase 3x I would give it a higher rating if I coul actually get some use out of it. After only hearung a phrase 3x you are bombarded with ads every time you after hearing a phrase 3x and Anyone who seriously wants to learn anything cannot, by the tme you are confronted with the ad, and X it out then you have forgotten the phrase you are trying to learn. I am using a Samsung Gaxaxy Tab 2. Thanks

This app was the best choice I've ever done because I got some small conversation with guys from all the world in my exchange program at Toronto. I spoke in Japanese, Spanish and Italian, it was an amazing experience. Ty for give me that chance to communicate in these languages that I don't have any fluency.

The interpreter sounds to much like a robot. Too many app pop ups! Disappointed. You need to be able to see what you are saying before an ad pops up, if you want to learn a language. Especially if using over seas as a helping tool. This app would drive me nuts!

However, there is a slight problem with the numbers in the Hindi section. If I press on for example 5, I get the pronunciation for 6. This is true for the numbers for 1to 10 and probably higher up but I don't know the higher numbers well enough to be sure. Also the phonetics are also off by one.

This app is really helpful, it help me understanding simple phrases in many language, so when I am travelling to several countries I have not found any difficulties to talk with locals (although when they replied me in their language I still could not understand).

I grew up speaking eight languages but because of relocation and life experiences I have been downgraded to only three languages. This application is quite a refresher course for me. Very impressed and satisfied with it, kudos to the programmers. Find this is a great application to brief up on languages that I used to use a lot. It's a neat and quick refresher!

I'm learning chinese and these app helps a lot in pronounciations for beginners, though its in pinyin. It helps me with my japanese too, beacause I don't much time to study either of these languages consciously, so I do it in my spare time right from my phone.

Great product the only down fall is the pop ups that come on after picking the speaker a few times. So I downloaded a game so it would stop popping up but it still pops up.. They really need to fix the pop ups.

Amazing app! Really appreciate all the hard work that went into this, and totally get that they need to pay for it somehow so that the app can be free for us, hence the ads. That being said, there were WAY too many ads for me (Samsung Galaxy 5 S) - about 1 every third or fourth phrase, which I think is a little overkill. My bf downloaded the same app on his older Motorola Droid and he didn't have the same ads issue.

Ran. F. May 30, 2014

The app itself is not too bad. The ads are far too frequent, but you expect that with someone wanting you to pay. What I did not appreciate were the misleading ads that claimed if you installed some game and played it, the ads would be disabled. It doesn't. I'm deleting both apps now. Save yourself the trouble.

I understand adverts on free apps, but full screen ads every two phrases make the app useless and annoying. If I was to purchase the full version it would because the developer had bullied me into it, not because it was worth spending money on.

I am learning french and often refers to this app and its excellent for quick reference to most common communication needs. I have rated it 4 since I would like to see more on grammer...

Cam. W. Oct 22, 2013

Great and helpful app but too much pop up ads. If I don't want the other stuff after closing it several times annoying me won't make me change my mind. With that being said this app is useful would be better with out so many pop up ads.

Jez. O. Jul 17, 2013

Would be prepared to pay to remove very minor ad irritation... looking forward to further updates... might benefit by extending functionality as an educational learning tool as oppose to just a tourist assistance tool - excellent application - keep up the great work - thanks

Get rid of the non-stop full page ads and this in not a bad app. Already rated this , and now it want rating aging!1/2 star. Chinese and Cantonese translation is appalling, as in can't. Did anyone actually check all the languages before releasing this app, or is it simply a link to Google Translate that is bad?

All. H. Aug 5, 2013

This was a great app. Since last update, a pub pop up every 3-5 click. I tried to send feedback, but the adresse isn't working. I would gladly pay for a pub free version, but I can't find it on Google Play.

Ty. B. May 17, 2013

This app is exactly what I'll need during my travels but some of (most of) the phrases are cut off at the end so I don't get the hear the full pronunciation. I cannot tell if this is a streaming issue from my network or a corrupt file issue from the app.

Don. S. May 16, 2016

I don't know why Arabic and Korean are higher on the update list than Chinese. I can't get text to voice to work on my Android even though I have dozens of translation apps that use my TTS engine just fine. This app does for Spanish what no other does and that is offer offline voice translation. Do it for Chinese and I'll pay $50 for a copy. No need to be free and you can leave the ads in, I'm that desperate. It is very well organized and is easy to find the phrases needed. Great Job!!! Oh, the 2 stars is because there is no way to access a configuration or setup section of the app. It opens to a list of languages (which I wish could be edited to delete those not wanted) and straight to the use. No other setup functions as indicated in the description.

Il est tres bon - if you are an audio learner, an for start to make aquentence with the language. It is very good, works fine for France on LG OPT 500 with internet conexion for audio- you will need an internet conection at start. If you go throu all phrases an you don' clear your cache you can use it without connexion for a while. After you learn to write you can add your own phrase collection. I also used in Finland - very useful! Congratulations!

Dan. T. Oct 3, 2013

The concept and practically is awesome plus ease of use is great! The entire app is filled with ads and using the 'hear it say' option twice will pop up another add. This therefore makes it frustrating to use. I intend to skew the ratings the other way.

Dav. B. Aug 28, 2013

Every 5th phrase you get a redirect to some unrelated ads. Also every 3 or 4 phrases the playback doesn't work. This on an HTC one smartphone Could be great ... Lots of great content but the glitches make it unusable

Uma. M. Apr 4, 2014

Too much ad. Everytime I cilck any word twice, an ad window opens. That is frustrating. Content is good but the app is unusable.

Rom. A. Mar 29, 2013

I have traveled to the middle east before, primarily Jordan and Turkey. Some of the pronunciations are a bit off. This app is a good guideline for me because I know how to read basic Arabic, but I do not rely on this app's pronunciation. A tip for the creators would be to actually have a recorded human pronunciation.

Lee. R. Dec 25, 2016

Good list of phrases. Text to speech doesn't work on my phone; the app doesn't have a prerecorded fallback at all

A. G. u. Oct 12, 2013

The arabic isnt correct. Dont mislead people. Dont make a language app if you dont know how the languages are pronounced. Dont bother installing people

Bry. S. Oct 9, 2013

It's a great way to find quick phrases for virtually anything you would buy need to say. There should be a phrase option on all three languages.
