Worst schedule app put there. This has got to be the worst app out there. Does not give you a nice full schedule view, does not default to current games. Please don't use and don't download. Forced to by the stupid league that decided to use this dumb app. Would have rather had a manual paper then this thing.
This is a great app to help when games starts, end and shows the score at the end of the game. 10/10 would recommend!
Paid to remove ads - there's still ads, even after clearing app cache and data. Resubscribed 10MAR2021 - paid to remove ads and ads are still there! Update 18APR2022 - ads still still present. This app is garbage!
Love the app., don't like how it takes you back to home screen when the correct back button is hit. Bacn should be back to precious screen, not home.
Horrible app. Don't even deserve 1 star. I can't do anything. Girl is spelled wrong and it seems to be frozen on a tournament I've never played in.
I'd really like to rate it higher, but the pop-up ads, notification ads, and the "love it" or "could be better" (which seems to ignore me if I press "could be better") are just really annoying. The in-line ads usually aren't so bad. And before you tell me I can pay $1 a month to remove that stuff, you guys should be doing OK on the fees you get from the tournament organizers to do this.
Great when it works. Lately it has been slow to open. Uninstalled / installed and it still does it. For coaches and interested family it is great to see scores. However just like anything else you rely on the Tournament officials to put the scores in. I like it. However serviceable at best.
This is the worst app for trying to find tournaments. Every single time you search and click a result, you have to start all over again to see a different result. It's a great concept, but horribly implemented. I'm posting here out of desperation that a developer will read this and just add a button to go back to search results. It's not that hard.
Constantly freezes and crashes. when i open the app i just get a blank white screen and it doesnt go past that. When i try and open desktop site on my phone i no longer can skip past the download app option. when i try to click skip i can not. its super frustrating as i have two kids whose teams depend on this app.
This app (and full website) is absolutely horrible. The app states there are no basketball tournaments in the whole state of Iowa and California. Tried to look on the full website and it doesn't give any results. I hope that Tourney Machine fixes this issue ASAP...it was a decent app until now.
tourney machine has made it super easy for me to keep up with my team and let them know almost a week in advance who were playing, where, and what time. as a coach that's awesome for me. other than the constant change of game times and places etc (which I dont believe this app has anything to do with) it's been great. If something doesnt seem right or your getting last weeks schedule a simple refresh at the home screen usually does the trick, I've had this run in with multiple parents/times.
one of the crappiest apps out there if your trying to navigate and find what your team or specific player. should be a search function right at the start to find your team or player. once you've found your team it's so so, nothing special especially compared to other team apps out there.
App Needs a lot of work. It is extremely difficult to find tournaments with the search feature. Once you find the tournament, it is okay for checking scores and schedule. However, the score updates are not typically entered in a timely manner. Reply to SI. When I search for a tournament it does not show up. Try searching for a softball tournament in Indiana this weekend and see what you get.
App says it's updated but I can't find our tournament for next weekend. One of my assistant coaches has that tournament on his app.
Overall, easy to navigate with comparably accurate information.
Just downloaded the latest version (Android) for my new phone and the app crashes immediately after it loads. I loved this app in the past and we use it all the time. Hopefully this will get fixed quickly since we are at a tournament right now. Just updated my rating based on the quick fix to the app.
It's fine, I like how you can star the teams you're interested in and get their game scores via notification. I really wish you could buy the app outright. I have no desire to pay a monthly subscription, especially since I only use the app a handful of months out of the year.
When it works it's decent... HOWEVER... It is frustrating when the app on my phone doesn't show our team in a tournament, but the person sitting next to me does. The app is not consistent between platforms/phones. As a head coach it's a challenge to be up to speed on game times and have to rely on parents to inform me. Is there an update and/or fix to the app? I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Are there settings I need to change?
Originally this app performed well. As of late is it virtually useless. It stop working constantly. Just to check a schedule it requires a restart 2 or 3 times. I've tried on four phones all with different operating systems. Please update this app.
Changing tournaments is painful, navigation needs a lot of improvement. There are a ton of ads but it is a free version, it would be nice if the ads were built into the UI better and not a pop up screen.
Way to slow start up time app always hangs! You really need to fix the startup time. It is really frustrating to use! And if you are doing it to get more people to buy into the app and keep the fee version slow then i will be looking for another app! Hope someone will fix this app!
Doesnt update with new season. I can only access fall of 2018, but other team parents are not having any issues. I try to look up by team name and its different on mine than theirs. Makes no sense. I have uninstalled and installed, use the link from someone else and its always the same prior schedule.
This app is awful! If I didn't HAVE to have it because coaches rely on it so much, I would have uninstalled a long time ago. constantly having to shut down the app and reopen it to make it work. Now doing the good 'ol uninstall and reinstall to try to get it to work.
Really great to keep up with games and brackets. The advertisements are intrusive. I would pay a one time fee to remove them but they want a recurring payment. So...ads.
I typically don't do reviews on apps. If there were "0" stars, that would be my choice. This app is the most terrible app I have ever had on Android. It freezes & will not load. If you have Android, you might as well forget about using this worthless app. Developers you have to do better on Android. Anyway, this is our last tournament & I won't need it ever again. ☮️
One week after a tournament ended I'm still locked to it and cannot load the next. Despite a delete and reboot, the app is still locked. When it works, the app is great. Not right now.
Much easier to keep coaches, managers, players, and parents connected. Easy to use and share. Eliminates the need for paper scoresheets and labels. Quick access to tournament details, standings, and results.
