Towbook

With every update this app has new issues, doesn't send notifications of a new job, doesnt notify drivers or notify me as a dispatch that a driver accepted the new job, screws up all the info put into the app, like changes addresses after you press save info... too many bugs and right AFTER YOU UPDATE your app... so annoying. UPDATE: and yes, after every update we contact you to fix your bugs and issues. And it takes a while to get an answer on the "chat", just like waiting on an email not chat

Every since the last update it keeps crashing and telling me I'm not online as a driver I am constantly having to Uninstall and reinstall and that only works about half the time it was fine up until about 3 weeks ago now it's just getting frustrating this needs to be fixed and soon

Works maybe 2/3 of the time, and that's only after you try to reopen it at least 4 times. I'm starting my own service company and will definitely be looking at other dispatch software programs first.

After being sent a call on my phone, I can't accept it to stop the alert sound, I have to restart my phone 3 times, just to get the call to finally stop alerting. I have tried 3 different phones, all with the same results.

Well this app was working fine now it won't work at all on my tablet that I use to keep up with all my drivers. Yes my tablet is up to date so that's not it.

Had multiple issues, the team did work to get these fixed. Only thing is some issues due take sometime to get resolved. I'm not an app developer but, it seems things could have been fixed faster especially that our job rely on this app. In a fast paced world you do need this app to work constantly. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I hate that it says you can update calls right from the app but then the calls always end up In review like I'm adding these things cause I need to get paid for them.

Need to make a new app this one over 10 years old with to much updates that takes over 12 GB and that's too much with phones that have 32 or 64 gb hard drive and doesn't transfer to SD card it stores only on internal hard drives only so please make new app a ND delete this

I have had a decent experience it crashes a bit and won't let me update something but other than that it's ok. One thing I want to see NOTIFICATION LOOPING needs to be longer so I can use my whole notification.

Great program, we've been in 2 years now, Came from 18 years of Tracker. We utilize 18 people over 3 shifts, Light,Medium,Heavy, warehouse & heavy haul. Just need a current android issue fixed, Techs are aware & working on it.... #towbookstrong

While I like Towbook, in general, there are a few changes I'd make to improve it. I'd like to see a contact us button that links directly to the phone number for whatever contract (Road America, Quest,...) you're working in stead of having to open the phone app, looking for the number, and then having to dial it - this would save quite a bit a time when needing to have "extras' approved when sitting on the side of the road. Also, I'm not liking how when I complete a job on the app, it doesn't update the desktop version unless you reload Towbook (desktop).

This app only alerts me when it wants to. I've been late 3 times to Chp calls. Sometimes after dispatch calls me and tells me to refresh because they've sent me a call, I go enroute, then arrive on scene, and THEN get an alert for that call. So annoying! Calls magically cancel themselves out and then reappear. Dispatch is not doing it. It will send me to different destinations, places that are nowhere near where the customer needs to go. I'm not sure where the problem lies but I am not happy.

Great app have used it since the beginning and have always made great improvements but need to be able to add multiple vehicles to the same impound ticket. Like if you have a truck and trailer, or a trailer loaded with vehicles, state laws require that you notify all owners and lean holders, but if it's attached or loaded it is only one call, so there are only one set of charges, and need to all be on one impound ticket.

It's gotten better in some ways. One thing I wish they would add is the ability to store information while the phone is out of service like arrive time, in tow time and so on. If the call you receive is in an area with patchy service you should still be able to click arrived on scene and have it stored until you get back into town or whatever. Knowing the total calls I've completed would be really good too. You guys keep at it, it'll get there soon. 😁

Decent for what it is supposed to do. However as a driver, it would be nice to see a different drop down menu for service calls (tire change, lock-out, jump-start, winch). Instead of the only option after "On-Scene" being "Towing" or "Completed" Also, a way to delete a photo from a call, sometimes incorrect photos get loaded from phone.

While the IU is nicer on the android version, the camera feature is extremely sup par when compared to the iOS version. I can only upload 10 pictures at a time and then it takes several minutes to upload the pictures and during that time the app freezes until the pictures have uploaded. Big time waster and very dangerous on the road. With the iOS version I can quickly take hundreds of pictures at one time and they upload quickly with a few seconds of delay.

So we pay 500 a month to get an app that constantly crashes and won't connect to server? Really???!!!.. edit: if that's the case why out of any app on my phone this one is constantly crashing to the point my phone requests me to put it in deep sleep?

The app is very simple to use. TowBook really makes it easy to get calls.

Updated on july 29, 2019. As of the last update when calling from the call button in the app appears to have one more layer of redundancy as well as after hanging up you manually have to cycle back from the call at least 2 times maybe 3 to reach the original call information. With Arizona's new texting and device laws set to take effect soon, prohibiting any use of hand held smartphone devices, what will be the alternative for navigation and timestamp documentation concerning roadside assistance

New issues are constantly springing up, but when it works it does work well. They love to blame your account setup when most problems universal. Have told them of the following problems since day 1 and they refuse to address them; server response time is bafflingly slow, takes forever to load text. Updating call info is equally slow, and also causes the app to literally freeze until server responds. Popups overtake entire screen forcing you to touch phone if driving, have fun with that ticket.

Keeps saying I'm offline when trying to login , but I have full service

Ups and downs but for the most part very helpful and informative.

Newest update download it on January 6th 2021. App no longer notifies me to let me know I have a job therefore I cannot accept the job. I've already checked settings on the app as well as my phone settings for notifications. All notifications say they are turned on and looping. Please see about having this fixed ASAP. Other than that everything else works as usual.
