Tower Defense King

Only played this game about a half hour so far. So, I can't really tell, but it seems like a good Tower Defense so far. It's been starting me on levels with enough gold to actually be competitive. I got to level 5 with one full round of tower upgrades, before the enemies started walking right through as if my Towers weren't even there. I will play some more and update this review as I have more experience with it.

I would have given a higher score, but the latest update removed daily bonuses. I find that unfair, since they were originally available and were a great help and motivation. Also, tower and skill updates cost quite a lot, but there doesn't seem to be much effect of those updates in the game. Waves aren't well balanced and there is no "fin" after completing all levels on the games map path with full stars. It just stays like that. If they had kept the daily motivational bonuses I would have given the game a slightly higher rating.

Fun. But slow paced. Speeding it up makes it seem like normal speed and normal speed like slow motion. That doesn't really bother me except in endless mode where I know I can get 10 minutes of touchless gameplay. It gets really grindy halfway through. You need upgrades to progress and it takes a while to grind out the gold. I had fun with it, but it's not something I will have fun with if I keep playing it

I love the actual game play. It's super fun and addictive! I HATE the fact that I was stuck on a level for about 2 months and was trying to get enough rubies to upgrade. I finally gave in and bought rubies at LVL 24. SO DISAPPOINTED to learn there are only 25 levels!!! I would have never bought the damn rubies! What a waste of money! Expand on your map. Make more levels so the people who DID pay can get their money's worth.

The game is addictive and fun to play, at first... Once you get halfway, your towers will have no effect on enemies unless you do massive upgrades. That's the fatal flaw, the upgrades are unethically expensive. Developer... shame on you for making this decision. I'm now stuck on the final level, final wave on easy mode. I will probably uninstall because it will take months to get enough gold to upgrade.

Not a bad game ! Has a few glitches though -- even if you open the app every day, it'll sometimes reset your progress back to Day 1. Also, you get to a point in the game where you effectively need to "grind" for coins to get powerups. . . which keep getting higher and higher while the coin rewards seem to stay the same. Still, an enjoyable game ! Been playing it off/on for a few months and I've almost got it beat.

I'm an old school tower defense guy, and this is my kinda TD! Loving it so far, though it's becoming harder and harder as the levels progress. One minor quibble: I sure wish I could hear the sound fx without being forced to hear the music. Overall, one of my favorites. UPDATE: THIS GAME NEEDS A SEQUEL OR MORE LEVELS PRONTO! Seriously, need more.

Too damn hard, even on easy levels, to be enjoyable to play. I managed to do all levels until the 24th. Even on easy, there is no way to finish it without paying. A game should be something to help one to pass some agreeable time. This game does the opposite. Unleash hell on the hard levels, I agree with that. But in easy mode? You are nuts!

Sadly overrun with ads and pay mechanics. Every click you do brings up an ad. Every time you start, restart, complete or fail a map you get ads. I get that free games need revenue but at this point it's like reading the advertisement pages in newspapers. If you like an overflow of ads with gameplay, you might like this. Oh, and the economy is grindheavy. You need upgraded towers to do the later levels on gold stars. It was partly fun but now i find myself clicking away ads far too much.

this game isnt bad, but it could have a faster fast forward button. as the game takes looong time to finish the level! theres no button to turn off that SO ANNOYING MUSIC!!! ITS ALL SOUND OFF OR PUT UP WITH IT' FOR THE GAMES SOUND EFFECTS!! GRRRRR!!🤬 apart from that it's not bad! so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. if you could change the things iv written about it would get at least 4 stars.

Good tower defense game. You can complete every level without full upgrades regardless of what others have said. Would be better if there were more types of monsters and greater differential between towers. Just to make it more strategic. Most of the time it didnt matter what branch you upgrade, or what tower you have where

The KING of mobile TD! Simplicity perfected, with great low-res graphics, awesome enemies and strategically open-ended levels. Albeit perhaps a bit too steep of an incline in difficulty as you progress. But still... It's super addictive, and given enough grinding I believe one can acquire enough IGC to get far. Only real minus is for the inability to turn music on/off (mute all sound, only). I would love a sequel in the same style w/ QoL improvements. Thanks, Mobirix! You rock! MobiROX! ✌😎☝

Decent game but built on the foundation of watching endless hours of advertisements. It is a challenging tower defense game with a short list of towers and essentially two types of creatures. The cost to buy gems or coin to upgrade the game is bordering on pure insanity, $10 for 200 gems but you will need tens of thousands to afford upgrades. So the only way to get what you need is to keep clicking on ads. I ended up downloading a different game from the same company and it was identical.

I am enjoying this game a lot. Especially how it allows a wide variety of random upgrades. The only thing that is a little dissapointing is that the placements are already decided and are limited. So i can't enjoy just a storm of bombardments by multiple towers. But other than that it has a lot to offer in enjoyment.

Like some aspects of the game, but parts could use an overhaul. 1. The game doesn't rotate. 2. You can't set how towers shoot as you can in other TD games (closest, highest HP, lowest HP, for ex.) 3. It doesn't tell you a number for shooting speed. You get a generic rating of fast or slow with modifiers. 4. It gets horribly expensive and grinding after about level 15. You need money and gems for everything and the levels don't ramp up the money you get. Poorly balanced.

You grind and grind to save gems, only to loose them because of placement if the upgrade buttons. You have to tap twice to place towers, but only have to tap once to spend gems. If I had purchased gems I would have wasted so much money for nothing. Please DO NOT PURCHASE IN GAME GEMS. You will loose them. I have to uninstall this game. I truly enjoy the game, but can't keep wasting my time.

Truly works offline without any internet at all. Some games need a connection at the beginning to load, not this one. The only thing that doesn't work offline is the ads. Bummer. The gems are too expensive for me to justify the real cash purchase, takes forever to make enough coins for tower upgrades, then the towers take days to complete the level up.

Overall, it's a good tower defense. Though I think the fun factor drops significantly in the last area when you start fighting creatures with invisibility. That area just requires you to use your special abilities so much that it stops feeling like a tower defense.

Money grab that plays great and is alot of fun but even on your first play through on the easiest level it gets so hard that you have to have near perfect strategy, however they conveniently give you plenty of options to spend money to make the game "easier" although its clear that its meant to get so impossible that you eventually wont have a choice if you want to keep advancing.

Well rounded game for the most part. The values to procede in the game faulter though and you get stuck at like level 15 waiting for in game daily bonuses or replaying older levels over and over for what they let you have for coin to upgrade your towers stats permanently. Its like it's meant to pull you in then have you pay to play after you get started. not a good design trait in this game. The upgrade costs are very high compared to the level compensations unless you're just starting out.

+ Enjoyable experience, I can waste hours playing it. Restarted once to employ a different strategy which has worked to my advantage so far. - No five stars because I can't check the tower/ability upgrade trees to decide in which to invest heavier, and the monster book has no description for either the monsters or the towers (and ingame text is full of typos, canon and cannon are entirely different things lol).

Its a good game but on some levels the towers you build wont prioritise attacking enemies who are closer to the goal over enemies that just got into range. Its frustrating as heck to watch your defence lose, because the AI doesnt understand which enimies are the greatest threat. Level 13 on hard is where i saw this happen.

This game is good, l have completed all the levels with 5 star(3star +1 gold& 1 silver Star), and there is nothing to do now. This game doesn't have many levels, and completing a level over and over is kinda boring. So please add more levels .

The game starts off pretty good, it's not really that interesting when compared to other tower defense games. It also has a problem where in later levels the towers don't feel powerful enough. The only good things I can say are that the graphics are decent and you can play the game entirely without an internet connection.
