Tower Fortress

A fantastic game with amazing animation! The style makes me think of ye olde retro games but modernized. Overall a fantastic experience with so many different ways to play with all the suits! Greatly recommended. One gripe I have is that the achievement system (the built in Google one) is very finicky. Even though I've beaten the game thrice, I do not have the achievements for the boss, smog emitter or in 15 minutes as I am usually pretty fast. Please fix! I need EXP :'(

This is an absolutely fantastic game, love the old school Metroid feel it gives me. The controls are great, no real difficulty, quick ads that you can skip, the only true complaint I have is that I think it'd be better if the game could be played horizontally on your phone, playing it vertically just doesn't feel right, and I've lost count of how many times I went to press the fire button, but instead hit the button that goes back to my home screen, and it was kinda frustrating.

This game is the peak mobile game experience. Not only is the gameplay simple and fun, buying gems is purely optional, as it is very possible to gain a lot of them quick once you get good at the game. Furthermore, after completing the main game, you can also play through a hard mode, with enemies that have more health and harder bosses, (also, the vault gets wayyy harder). 10/10, would recommend.

I honestly love and adore this game. It's fun, the characters always fascinate me, and trying to learn every single move or tactic for a level is incredibly fun and can be quite a challenge. My only concern surrounds the Google Play options. It will try to log into them but say Google Plus can't set up my profile. I can't find any other app doing this except Tower Fortress. I'm still rating 5 stars due to the exceptional gameplay, but I would appreciate this being fixed.

I rarely give reviews for games, but I had to for this one. First off, amazing game in and of itself. I loved the controls and the mechanics are so much fun. Wall jumping and spinning through the air is super satisfying. I have got to say that I love the unlockable suits, which make each round unique. The only complaint that I have is that you are unable to attach a suit power to another suit, which would allow for having your favourite look and favourite power. Overall, great game, minimal ads.

Tower fortress is an amazing game. It's not afraid to slap you down for being too aggressive or too slow, but is just lax enough that it allows nearly all players to enjoy it. The game's specific systems are fairly simple to understand as well, and the game only plays with four buttons. The game has very little complexity, but a large amount of depth, such as learning how to bait bats in the first area to fly to you, or learning efficient ways to utilize the wall jump. These are just examples.

The game is something I have never seen before. Super good, great mechanics. The only things I have to say against this game are that the controls are pure pain. The buttons are too close to each other, and that in portrait mode is a bit of a pain. Frogs are op. Ads are not invasive because they show at the end of a chapter or when you lose all the lives. In landscape mode this game would be worth five stars, because of its unique gameplay. Playing with buttons like this is a struggle.

Very addictive, and another great game from Nitrome. Simple controls and they work great. It feels challenging sometimes, and you keep coming back to get even further than you did before. However, there are ads. That's not a problem, but sometimes you get ads in the middle of levels. I sometimes get an ad for some stupid game about making castle dwellers or some stuff. Because that ad DOESN'T HAVE AN X BUTTON, I HAVE TO CLOSE THE APP. It would be 5/5, but ads that ruin your run are frustrating

An amazing game, especially for one that is free. So entertaining and satisfying to complete. It's challenging and there's a learning curve but it's amazing! No 30 sec ads and the ones that show up are immediately skippable so they dont detract from the game. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a challenging game to complete.

This is a great game and it seems as if the good characters are overpriced at first, but once you find your own playstyle the currency system is fine. Once you have a killstreak going, the money multiplies by so much. But I find a few bugs. The coins sometimes glitch through walls. But that's not really important. I recently unlocked seeker and can get 30+ combos. But half the time, the missles dont go correctly. And the third boss takes no damage at all?!?! Fix the third boss, please.

this is a fun way to pass the time. a simple, fun platformer. I recommend it. however I would like to see a multiplayer version similar to that of geometry dash. levels created by the players, and rankings. that would be cool. also, the top critical review has some inaccurate info. if you get a high enough combo, you get a hp boost, possibly damage and gems boost as well. also, the AI is not supposed to be smart. they are just like enemies in any platformer game. only the bosses adapt to you.

This game is awesome. Love a good shooting, arcade game and the way that each level is different. I'm thinking of paying for the no ad version but I'm still holding off since its almost perfect. I would love it if there's support for bluetooth or usb controllers. I have the 8bitdo zero gamepad that would go great with it for when I'm at work (a gas station). The additional feature would make the game even better. Please?

Amazing game, I love the retro feel with the graphics, and even though you would expect jagged rough movements from the retro style it is, in fact the complete opposite. The gameplay is super fun, I also like how the ads are placed to not interrupt the gameplay, and most ads (except ones to revive your character) are skippable! The controls are simple yet effective controls, with just four buttons you can easily adapt to the game. 10/10 mobile game

This game is absolutely fantastic. It's simple yet beautiful in the graphics, has tight, simple, and comfortable controls. Upgrading system is wonderfully crafted, bringing a multitude of ways to player the game. It feels quite like a Metroid game, but not one that is trying to be a Metroid Game, only inspired by the series. The massive amount of suits is also outstanding as it brings so much variation in gameplay. The AI is good, characters, level design, and sprites were all great. Serious 10.

Decent rougelite though. Pixel graphics is great and very Nitrome-ish, the enemies got enough character to be unique and the controls are tight. The thing is, it can get very repetitive due to the level generation. Also there are tons of characters but they are all the same one, just with different buffs. Would've been better if the characters had more individuality rather than just a copy. Good timekiller though, got some free time off. Thanks devs!

I really enjoy this game. It's great for killing time. It seems pretty easy at first but the fact is I've been playing for a while and still cant get past the 2nd boss. It definitely gets HARD. Not a P2W game in any way. Very limited IAP which I find refreshing. Any game that expects me to pay $99 for currency that's needed to advance (more then once, no less) immediately loses my support. I just cant tolerate that level of greed. This is a game. Not a money making scheme. Thank u Devs!

This game is pretty good, but you need to fix some stuff. Example, your dpad sensitivity needs dealt with as sometimes it will take multiple times of me pressing the button, to only move about a pixel or two worth of space or just not move at all, so far that's it. Otherwise it's a thumbs up but you really gotta fix the dpad, make it bigger or up the touch sensitivity somehow, I would offer a suggestion but I don't get that involved with phones. Have a good one✌

Really fun game for passing time or even actually getting into. Hard at first, but adapted to, similar to DOOM. Another nice thing is that saving up gems for armors or anything doesn't take very long if you just play a few games. The way the armor sets work with the player getting progressively stronger matches well with the actual skill required to get far. Ad placement is amazing, where it isn't a bother, and every ad is just an image you can immediately click out of. 5/5 any day!

This game is great but, IT NEEDS IMPROVEMENTS! The game is fun and all but the first improvement it needs is information. at the main menu there is several buttons that you dont even know what they are, they should add information under buttons telling you what those buttons are for. Next, parts of the levels are IMPOSSIBLE to complete! Some have to many enemies that you are forced to take a hit for, and for saws should not be able to hit you when standing on a floating floor. Plz work on this😊

This was a solid game to play, the controls were lovely, never did I feel as if I died because of the game, I think what Nitrome does with its graphics are amazing, of course nothing new, but still, there are crisp animations along with the pixelated graphics. I did delete this game simply because it had a month long play value before you just feel meh about it, suits aren't something to feel super proud about, but theyre a nice way to spice up a game or 2. Overall i think its worth a download.

This game is wonderful. The concept of having different unlockable skins with different skills creates a great basis for a player to grow in strength as they progress through the tower. The game looks great, and plays great. Ads are placed very well, only after each level, so it is hardly a bother. The game does a good job at making you feel overpowered but still being difficult. If you enjoy roguelike, this is a must play.

Need update... When trying to jump up on to the the next tier it's not letting me jump across, the character will usually just jump straight up. I can climb up the walls but on some levels you can't just go straight up.... Other than that I don't have any complaint s. Thank you keep up the good work
