Having heard good things about this app I looked forward to using it. Download was ok but when I opened it for use it began downloading updates. So far I have been waiting for about 15 minutes, and the updates show no signs of slowing down. Guess the app is designed to see if your ghost is usable in real life.......
App keeps going into auto update and stopping halfway then goes to screen with a bunch of lines, but never loads. Tried closing out app and uninstalling/reinstalling but does the same thing. Heard good things about this app, but it doesn't seem to work on Galaxy S7 phones right now. Update: clearly app developer doesnt care about his ratings tanking. Many reviews recently stating issues with app sith no response. Very unprofessional. No issues with Ishtar Commander. Support him instead guys.
Just keeps resetting itself, says downloading updates, won't even let me sign in.. terrible experience, I recommend this app be completely removed.. if it won't work for all then it should be removed totaly, not fair for only some to be able to utilize this apps "apperently" good features.
This app is great, it shows the percent on the stat roll on a mobile app, create loadouts and transfer between characters works awesome. Not 5 stars because has room for improvement if it worked as good as on Chrome would give it 5.
Please wait, downloading auto updates. I can't get past this update crap. The app worked yesterday and now it just doesn't. I've left the app open for two hours waiting for an update that won't download. I've got a good WiFi signal, what gives? I uninstalled and tried again with a fresh install and nothing. I need to check for tier 12 while Xur is at the tower and I can't. So frustrating.
I loved this app so much, but now I can't get passed the "please wait, downloading autoupdates" screen. It looks like it finishes, and then starts all over again. And sometimes a pop up appears that says there was an error retrieving destiny info and to let the devs know. So, I'm letting you know. Please fix, I'd like to keep using it!
I have been using Tower for Destiny since its been released and its been so good even a lifesaver. I have no idea when it started auto updating constantly, but the app is useless to me now. I hate this. It was the best app for transferring anything from one character to another or just from vault. The destiny app doesn't transfer from character to character. Ok saw someone left a review that they disabled auto updates and the app is back. It prolly wont ever get updated but for what I need it will be fine.
Would give 0 stars if possible. This was my first Destiny companion app. Loved the interface Now on all my devices the same issue. Auto update when starting and screen goes blank/background wallpaper and nothing ever happens. Will Recommend Ishtar Comander over this anyday now. Such a waste. Ive deleted uninstalled cleared data. Nothing. This app is broken!
Edit: I tried to give this app another chance as I started another Destiny character but it just sits there at the login screen ... I don't understand how this is still in the app store. Ishtar Commander is so much better, far more responsive UI, ease of use, etc. The only reason I still had this was for the vendor rolls on the website but they haven't updated those in months. Just a waste of space, don't bother with it. Update: still haven't updated their website, app is super laggy, why even pretend? Blacklisted forever for me.
First off it doesn't work, 0 stars is not an option unfortunately. It may work on certain devices it seems by the reviews but on my 12.2 note pro it does not. I do have the same app on an apple device and even there don't really care for the looks of it or its user interface, as others have stated Ishtar Commander is a better app, works on all my devices android and apple, looks great, and a great user interface.
App is broken currently and won't load into even submit your gamer ID tag for either Xbox or ps4, sort of annoying
I disabled Auto Updates in the settings and the app works now. Before that, app was unusable and tried to update every few seconds.
The items refuse to load in. Great app in the past but now too buggy to use.
App enters a loading screen and reads "downloading auto updates" every time I try to transfer items and doesn't actually allow you to transfer everything as the cycle endlessly repeats
Same issue as many others app won't start and keeps trying to update. Appears to be caught in a loop it can't get out of during load up real shame
I agree with all of the recent reviews. I've had this app before and it was by far the best out there. Especially since it's the only one that does tier setups. That said, the app is now broken and needs to be fixed​ or discontinued. It stays stuck at the looking for updates screen and won't go passed it. The few times I did manage to get pass that screen, it returned right back to it, stopping me from signing in.
Does what it does better than the official app. However now is stuck in a constant loop of downloading updates and crashing. I've already downloaded an alternative.
Never works. Totally broken app that doesn't reflect the usability of the browser plugin it's based on. See Ishtar Commander for a working alternative.
This app is amazing I love it... When it works. I'd say a good 50% of the time it doesn't work it will keep saying it's updating information and then just leave you with a blank screen.
Was God but now has issues with and auto update rotine that is in constant refresh.. This app is normaly awsome. Please fix.
I installed this last night and all it does is download updates. 2 hours straight and still it's doing it...
I loved this app until recently when it stopped working properly for a few days. The recent update appears to have resolved the issue.
Used to work wonderfully. As of late it's been laggy and when it auto updates, it's almost useless to try to use it for a day or two.
As every other review has mentioned, it's stuck on auto update. I'll just continue using Ishtar Commander (I only downloaded this app for a few specific features, none of which are make or break).
Was told that this app can help me make a 12 teir but the app keeps reseating so caint find out how the app works.
I've used the app before so I know it's good. However, lately all I get is a blank screen. Cannot see any of my gear so it's basically useless. If I can find a way to post a screenshot of what I'm looking at I'll post it. Changed my rating to one star because the app is completely useless still. I have a pixel XL and cat see any of my gear.
