Given this tough decision, we would like to inform you of the followings.
■Jewels Upon completion of the maintenance planned for December 26, 2016, we will discontinue the sales of Jewels. The Jewels you purchased earlier and the ones you will be purchasing from here on will not be reimbursed. Please make sure you use them up in Gasha and Events before the termination.
■Timeline for the Termination December 26, 2016 Sales of Jewels is discontinued. January 31, 2017 All stores are closed. March 8, 2017 Town Maker service is terminated. March 31, 2017 All supports are terminated.
■Timeline for Events December 12 – 22, 2016 Christmas Event January 16 – 26, 2017 Valentine Event February 13 – 23, 2017 Icy Festival Event

Epic. Could be better
The initial download takes forever and the building area is small compared to other games but overall it's a great game that doesn't require social media to gain friends, money is easy to come by, and leveling up is fairly easy. You are in control of the ads and gain a nice reward for watching.
The lack of new content and the fact that the last ten events have been repeats of events I've played before mean that I've rated it much lower than I would have last year. Note to the developers: I stopped spending money when the repeats began, and I'm getting bored now. Please add some novelty, soon, or I'll be gone. It used to be fun, with something to look forward to each month. Now it's just the same thing over and over - good for a year, though.
Am very saddened that TM is shutting down services. None of us understand whats goin on. We have been playing daily for so long & love this game so much. For a lot of us its where our friends are. Will we still be able to visit each others towns & clean? Almost cried when i tapped for this unfortunate update...sniff
Town Maker is a solid game and that's high praise! I just saw a new note that it "contains ads." The user is totally in control of the ad experience and is well compensated for a very quick video. The controls are easy to learn, helped by optional goals. Every month there is a new quest or "Event", obtainable for those who play for free as well as those who pay extra. Even with all these goals, there is also a very free sandbox-like quality that some people take advantage of, and others prefer to create a regimented city. In both cases, they have truly created the "City of Their Dreams!" I love how easy it is to meet new friends in this game and that it doesn't ever make me post to any social media about it. I have been playing for almost 4 years now and this game still holds my attention daily.
Recently came back to townmaker. Disappointed I couldnt log into my old account. Good time waster.
A good game but lacks speed. Good on a boring day.
Have been playing this game for over 3 years, since the start of monthly events. But for the past 2 years there was no new content, and recently the new events buildings were repeats of past events (icy square, christmas). Only thing keeping me in this game is the friendship i have forged over the 3 years. WE WANT SOME NEW CONTENT ASAP!

Updates took a long time to download while they telling me 'wait for a while'
I used to play this a lot, but got fed up with all the bugs it had. They have improved it tenfold and it's now my number 1 town building game.

Easy to play but still haven't figured out what town people want to make them happy and town is getting crowded trying to find this out. Game encourages cooperation with other players. Assists in finding game friends but doesn't always put someone on friends list after telling you that you are now friends with another player. The FAQ doesnt cover this and there is no link to game HQ to report an issue not covered in FAQ. Don't have to spend money to play and make progress which is a definite plus.
Nice game. Fun to play. Suitable for all ages. Great way to pass some time.
