Stunning music. The minimalistic, nostalgic gameboy-style graphics REALLY WORK: it's a story, not a game. The psychological realism gets better as it goes on; the first ghost girl story arc is clichéd and the dialogue is annoyingly melodramatic in places, but it honestly doesn't stay this way. The story's portrait of depression becomes realistic when interpreted as a whole. The English translation has blatant grammatical errors and clumsy poetry. You need a native English-speaking translator.

This game is really relatable especially for someone who's always stuck in their own head and doing things without actually thinking of what others say (it's bad to think about what others say and think too much but it is also bad to NOT think about it either). It made me realized that your decision can affect others in a way even unintentionally. There were a tiny bit of grammar issues but overall, it did not affect the gameplay. The game was short but worthwhile, it has a great plot. I love it

Wow, two reviews in one day, anyways, this game was stunning! The art fit the theme the story was going for very well, the music was beautiful, and the story was wonderfully written. Some awkward spelling here and there, but it didn't disrupt the experience at all. Possible players, please do note that this game is more of a depressing visual novel than an RPG with some epic fantasy tale, and is more down to earth. Anyways, loved this game and can't wait to see what those at Odencat make next!

Amazing game. The artstyle and controls are simple, but the story told is deep and emotional, and the simplistic style just lets you focus on that. The music is absolutely PHENOMENAL, the right music kicks in at just the right time, really gives you the feels. For a free game, the ads are minimal and just a few seconds long, doesn't really cause much of a disturbance, so that's a total plus. Definitely recommend downloading this game. It's a great experience!

The game is essentially like a novel-like experience, the stunning visuals and the atmospheric songs helped a lot to progress the story as if we're deeply immersed into the role of the main character. It deals with real depictions of how it feels to be trapped into social pressure and wanting to escape, but part of them unable to break free. I got emotionally invested playing this game and thank you for creating this wonderful story, may others enjoy this journey as well as I do.

I've just written a review, but I forgot to mention some things! The game tosses you in blindly, and lets you figure everything out on your own. This is entirely flawless, as it has guidance but not enough to drive you directly to the answer. The ! marks were only there when needed, and it overall felt like I was actually in the experience. The tree of heart has to be my favourite part, because you learn about it gradually. Wonderful experience for anyone who likes this sort of thing!

The graphics were beautiful, the music was relaxing, but the storyline was just pure gold! It made me learn not to take things for granted, it made me learn how to see things from another one's perspective. The story made me feel emotional and actually empathized the main character. Just amazing, I don't think the English dictionary can help me describe this beauty.

A beautiful story! It truly captures the struggles and the hurdles that are life. In order for things to get better I truly do feel like everything gets better, but crashes down before everything finally does improve and that's what this story truly embodies and portrays so well. It captures the importance of moving on, forgiveness, second chances, and does it all so beautifully. I loved every moment of it and it truly brought tears to my eyes. 😭💕

The story is really awesome. Best visual novel I've ever played so far and that's really a good complement coming from me, since I get bored of visual novels easily and couldnt finish most of them. It's short, so good for people who's busy. Its touching and made me cry at the very end. SPOILER ALERT! I especially like the trees of mind. Very unique way of expressing, and I absolutely love it! Looking forward to more games like this!

i love it so much! one of the best games i've ever played. the story really touched my heart, though i wish we could have choices and maybe different endings. but overall, this is an amazing game! the graphics were really good, and the music is just... FANTASTIC AND BEAUTIFUL! i don't even know if there's such word to describe how excellent it is. i even donated, though it might not be much since it's just bronze sponsor because i have no money, but i hope it will help the game to improve :)

This app is more of about story than gameplay, which I didn't expect at first. However, I'm not complaining about any of it. It tells a short and (depending on the player) a relatable story that can go underappreciated if you choose to view it too directly. The music composed is also very nice and is worth listening to if for that reason alone you decide to play. The message left by the developers at the end made me more appreciative of the project overall.

The storyline is really good. The graphics are great too, they looked quite realistic and scenic. I love the old lady the most. I cried when the woman said something about the old lady really tried hard to change things. It's a really sad story but at least it's a happy ending. I learned a lot from just this small and short story game. I really recommend this game to those who just think about committing suicide. Thank you for making this game :) ❤️

I Recently finished the Ending although tears didn't fell down but the story left me overwhelmed. I really like the concept of the protagonist in the story that the person doesnt need to be so perfect but a story about character development, overcoming his challenges, tragedies etc. ( It's true that the character himself is very complex ) I also like the fact that there are also different stories aside him and him interfering into personal matters to make them happy again. Its a wonderful story!

I liked the game. For people who are struggling with personal problems, having an internal battle... The mc is definitely relatable. However, due to the nature of the game, it overly simplified the issues that the mc is facing. Although it's brave for tackling a deep existential questions, it lacked depth. There are a lot of aspects of the story that were glossed over so the story telling was sorta choppy; however, the game is still great despite all its flaws.

There's not much choices but it's really fun to stroll around the town to complete your goal. And I really like the story. It's sad and heartwarming. It's relatable and makes you feel empathic with the main character. Also, I like the style! Will be checking out the other games the creator made for sure :)

The gameplay is simple but good, the storyline though...I did not expect to get slapped that hard bcz I find it really relatable to this modern lifestyle that can be toxic and all that jazz. I really love this game! Art wise, it's pretty good to me because I personally missed and liked the old school bit-like rpg game art styles where things seem kind of pixelated (in a good way) but that's the beauty from the minimalistic aspect of it. Looking forward for the upcoming ones ^_^)

The story is pretty well written if I do say myself tbh, but the gameplay is quite boring. Sure, VNs aren't supposed to have much gameplay, but this wasn't even a choice based game. I was just clicking through lines of dialogue and there wasn't much to interact with. Eh, I'd still recommend this but if you don't have a long attention span or not much of a fondness towards stories (any genre), then I suggest you'd leave this page

Honestly beautiful. • it's so simple yet so sweet. • The music is lovely and just pulls you in. • The concept and over all idea was wonderful. • It made me tear up a little which proves this story did it's job. I have two complaints overall 1. It was a little laggy but that's not a huge issue and I'm sure it's because of my device 2. I like it but I think the end was a bit rushed it just felt like the creators were close too there deadlines so they quickly did the end but it's not a big deal

A very amazing game!! I can really relate to the male lead and I can say I've learned a thing or two tips when facing problems. The art is very nostalgic and the music is well-developed and weitten, making me emotional every time I hear it. Definitely one of the best pixelated games I've played.

You can tell this game comes from a personal place. I was intrigued by the story and also moved by it. It felt peaceful playing it while listening to the serene music and sounds. Many people may relate with the main character, especially during these hard times. Again, powerful message behind the story. Continue making games ☺️

A good storyline, and a very touching one. The art and the music all of it was perfect. The characters and the Mc itself were good written characters. I rarely shed a tear on pixel games. I completely felt and been the same position on MC. I'm still struggling but hopefully I regain hope and recover soon. It's a good game but a short one, been sitting on my screen for a long time since I spent my time reading fanfictions. You deserved the 5 stars. I hope this game gains more attention ❤️.

I have never wrote a review before, but had to for this game/story. I really liked it. As someone who relates to the main character it really hit hard. I found myself quickly coming back, and could barely put it down. I was sad that it had to end. It was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend it to others!

Nice graphics, mediocore storyline. While there were some elements of surprise, I personally found this game predictable. I also think that you should give it a mature rating, there is a lot of death and suicide throughout this game. Finished the game in one day, there were many chances to create plot twists, which were sadly ignored. Like 'Clock of Atonement', I feel it was way too short. I also feel the creator focused too much on graphics and not enough on the plot. A decent game overall.

It's so very cute and feels very authentic. Personally, the character is relatable and I enjoyed seeing all the sakura trees blossom! it's refreshing to see an RPG incorporate mental states and mental health into a game. I love 8-bit games and this is a definite favourite, I'll be holding other 8-bit RPGs to this same standard! The only things I could complain about (I guess :P) is the graphics of the sea which seem a little crusty but besides that, fantastic game and keep up the good work :D!

This is the game I wanted, adventure, offline, single player, stylized, that's it, that's all what I want, the story really teaches a lot of things, like...forgiving, loving, do not revenge, and the most important thing is...Be Yourself, you can't change, change only like...Hating enemies to Loving them, keep up odencat, or odendog, whatever, keep making games like this, or I shall call it...School Game, Game that teaches you what is life, just make it a lil bit less boring, keep up, good luck.

A meaningful, thought-provoking story that contains parts with many interpretations. It's a romance tale, but it's far more than that. It doesn't relate to everyone, but I sure recommend it to all.

It is almost perfect. I mean the graphic is cool. Pixel never goes wrong. Control is easy. Gameplay is way easy. I'd say too easy. Like we're only reading a book. There were not much option to choose. All I do was just clicking here and there till there were some mini games. Simply saying, boring.

This game/visual novel was amazing, honestly. It was really shocking to see a main with similar mindset as me, it was really easy to put myself in the main's shoes, and after a certain point, I was able to predict their words cuz those are the same thoughts that I have been believing in for years...I appreciate that I could play a game with a main whom I can relate this deeply to... And the other characters were on point. I could FEEL them being real. It was an amazing experience. Thank you.
