On taking a pic of the check front on the first check deposit, the picture is distorted. You have to back out of the camera view and then click "front" again.
UPDATE 7/30/21: Fingerprint login is available but disabled by default. Enable in settings. Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars. Check deposit still needs improvent. Slow and always asks to double-check check pictures. Original Review: App does not save password or feature biometric unlock. Check deposits take very very long with a re-prompt to try again on every check. It is ok for checking my account balance.
Banking app that works. Can deposit checks and check pending transfers in or out.
Best banking experience I've had. Been with Towne Bank for 20 years would not change.

Not very good at capturing the check. Continually said change the angle, I was literally right directly over the check with a good picture and it wouldn't take it. Plus the button to snap a manual picture is in the wrong place. It makes your thumb cover some of the picture.
I have used this application for 15(?) years, with automatic payments, Bill Pay, check deposit, and payroll deposit. They take good care of the application just like TowneBank takes good care of its customers. Nothing flashy, but everything works like it is supposed to. By "supposed to" I mean "gives excellent customer service". That is not what expect any more, but at TowneBank we get that hometown good service from friendly, helpful people. Please keep it up.
The app generally works well, but every time I transfer funds between accounts, the app freezes and I have to close the app and log back in otherwise it keeps spinning.
Constant login problems require me to frequently uninstall / reinstall the app. Mobile deposits typically takes 3 to 4 attempts before they are accepted. I would say generally that Town Bank is bad and the mobile app is even worse.
The app was perfect. A recent update made some changes to the way things look and places to find them unnecessarily complicating things.
so hard to mobile deposit. I tried about 50 times for this time. Need to improve the photo reading. Bad!!! I want to Townebank just because of this. It eats up too much of my valuable time. why do the mobile deposits?? to save time. yes?? so make it work properly . Please!!!!
Using this app has made managing my accounts easy & secure. It is very simple to understand, it automatically signs you out after a moment or two, & yeah. It's a great app!
Seems to consistently prompt to double check various reasons when depositing a computer generated check on app. Checks still ultimately get approved but just annoying since they are clearly easy to read
User friendly and easy to navigate. Nice and convenient in this age of Covid.
This app needs a lot of work. Some sort of push notification system for withdrawals and deposits and overall usage would be great.
Basic transactions seem easy. Problems adding new payees under BillPay. After entering all info the message, try again later appears.
Why did you take away the note area to record reason for the transfer. Please add it back. It was very useful. If it was useful to me, I am sure it was useful to many of your members and employees!
Always have problems mobile depositing. Very frustrating! Business account & system had a hard time with checks made out.
Mostly functional. Wish there was the ability to do bank-to-bank transfers in the app. Otherwise great.
this is the worse cant log on feel very uncomfortable with my personal information on here and cant log on i have called the bank several times still no resilts they told me to turn off and log back in i deleted the app several times and still dont work
Easy way to deposit checks. Auto picture function. Works well. Saves me a trip. Love it!

Love this app. It is so easy to navigate plus I love the availability of it. You can transfer your money between accounts in seconds.
Fantastic app, also have to say fantastic bank. We have our personal account in our business setup with TowneBank and would never go back to any of the others.
Couldn't deposit more than 800.00 at first. The checks take longer to withdraw. Mobile deposit is a pain. Not very streamlined.
The app does everything i need it to do. Very nice. Not as nice as the actual people who work for TowneBank, but very nice.
Newest version dropped thumb print ID, which I really miss. Also, mobile deposit photo process is more difficult to use than previous version, or current apps for other banks.
