Toy Defense 2: TD Battles Game

Could have been a good game, but the levels are overtuned and progress is slow. I've played a lot of tower defense games over the years and this might be one of the least enjoyable. having your towers destroyed right after you sink a bunch of cash into upgrading them is very frustrating, and the consumables are expensive as they require either waiting a long time to save up for them or dropping real cash to buy them. I can't really recommend this game.

I love this game. I've spent hours trying to complete it, just 15 levels off now! To all those people who say you have to pay to win, you don't - just change your strategy when you get stuck. This is a very solid tower defence game, I thoroughly recommend it! Update: finally completed it, then a few years later I've downloaded again to replay from the start. Great game!

Well, let me start. It is highly repetitive: to 100% you have to keep going on and on. First you make mistakes, then you have to perfect your approach (not near but exact perfection) in order to get 100% success. And even if you manage to complete the mission, you have 250 missions to go, on each campaign. I spend 5 hours (no lie) just to complete one mission. I knew at this point I had seriously wasted my time. In conclusion, if you don't like constant repitition don't get this game.

Impossible to play. I really liked the first game, the second one is a bit of a joke. The first few levels are enjoyable but it quickly gets to the point you can't even finish levels without spending money - I don't mind a one or two star if I get to move on. Go through full waves where there are so many enemies all bunched together you simply can't destroy any and even with the right towers in place but you can't earn the resources in level to survive. I'll go replay kingdom rush.

I wish more points were given after every round so I can improve the skills faster according to the levels and avoid the feeling of getting stuck . Sometimes the warnings of the coming waves next to the (entrances of the) paths covers the status of some of the toys placed on the field. Sometimes is too late when I notice the damage given to one of the toys because of that reason. Overall it is fun to play to this game.

A mixed review. I originally rated this game at 5 star but after a few weeks I have decided to drop to 3. The reason for this is because I have grown bored. After a while the level maps all basically become the same, except for the change around of troop slots. I would have been happy to stay at 5 star on everything else as it is a cool game really. A little more imagination on the map layouts and it would be a great game but sadly as I said the boredom soon sets in.

Looked promising at the start, very quickly introduced bloated upgrade systems and prompts for "micro" transactions larger than the cost of a full game on this store. Even worse, the limited number of tower "slots" on each map makes this a blatant pay-to-win game. I finished almost every level with more resources than I'd spent, no room to build more towers, nothing left to upgrade, and yet had no way of stopping certain units, short of using premium consumables. Great concept ruined by greed.

I first played this years ago and while the graphics have been cleaned up and the carrying over of units has been changed it's still one of the best examples of a tower defense game. The one thing that has gotten worse though is the fact that more often than not (about 80% of thr time) when you put down an interceptor, you dont actually get the plane, so it can't get xp and it can't be promoted. How this bug still exists is beyond me.

It's surprisingly fun. Although really difficult to correctly select dismiss unit if it's st the bottom of the screen. Hardly no advertising so you can play & choose to watch an advert for a crate if you so wish. I half expected another money grabbing game. But Its a game more on content rather than making money. So 4 star from me :0) Tip. After the first dozen missions. It becomes impossible to win unless you upgrade units so you unlock the upgrades in game. I didn't notice it for ages.

Game play is fun and engaging, the difference in enemy health between waves is a bit annoying. First half of level enemies are at low hp then suddenly they're near invincible. Then on top of that you give me no upgrade stars for completion with less than two star rating, how am I supposed to advance if I can't upgrade units? All in all good game but could be better if it weren't aimed at making me pay to continue playing

Game in "missions" mode is really great. However, in "Arena" mode game has serious issues. In every second game i recieve "waiting for oponent" message on my screen, i can't continue to play and after ~1 minute game either completely crushes either i recieve indication that i lost game, which of course takes away my points without any reason. I hope that development team will fix this somehow....

Well made and stable app, but lastly just one more castle defence game which does not contribute anything new or surprising to the genre. Personally, I'm thankful to the designers for giving the game a WW II setting, I've seen enough dragons, goblins, vampires and assorted undead to last me a lifetime. Also, after 6+ hours of gameplay, there doesn't seem to be a paywall, at least not early in the game, which these days of P2W games is the exception rather than the ruje

A little more difficult to learn than the original Toy defense because there are more variables and more layers of differemt upgrades. Once you get things figured out, the game is awesome. I do recommend playing through until you start being unable to defend your base 100%, then uninstall and reinstall the game and start over. You'll earn stars faster the 2nd time through. The ONLY reason I'm not awarding 5 stars is because nothing is perfect, but slide me a spare coin or two.....

Starts out good, able to progress with some tactics applied, but unfortunately becomes a heavy pay2win game in the final tiers of the game. The latest missions require a fair abundance of 'game currency' to advance(regardless of skill/unit-upgrades). So it's either months of saving up in game or just dropping the buck, which I'm personally good on either or. Otherwise a decent game.

The game is pretty nice. Only problem is before getting to level 20 you can feel that it is almost impossible to play the game without spending real $ doing a level twice will not give more tokens so you can't grind for upgrade. Only xp but it does not help the upgrades . If i get stuck because i dont spend i will uninstall. There are more than 200 levels per cathegory .. and many categories so its a long game .... but for now it seems like we need to pay to play.

This was a fun game, but after the special M coins had an overflow, showing a large negative number on the post mission screen when it was only between 300 & 400, it lost my data and progress. I'll try a newer game. Fun tower defense game, but it's too easy to accidentally use your limited med kits from the armory.

Fun, challenging, occasionally just frustrating enough to make you think it's one of those games that are impossible, but then you figure out what to do and you're winning again. Plus the graphics are good despite being so small and there being so many icons in the screen... so it gets a 5 a week after downloading it.

Loved the PC version so thought I'd try this on Android. Turns out this is an absolute garbage money-grabbing version, no way to advance and have a fun experience without spending hundreds of dollars. Super-stingy with the stars, and the reimagining of how 'heros' are managed eats up an even greater and disproportionate number of stars, which remember, you don't get as the game doesn't give many stars.
