The most frustrating piece of tech I have ever owned because connectivity is terrible. Why no cable?!!! When it connects it is effective and good fun and the app very easy to use...then it decides it doesn't want to connect! You then waste hours and hours of your life trying to connect it again, no logic as the why it suddenly doesn't work - same wifi router, same password, same position in house. The factory reset and other tips in the FAQs fail to solve the problem. Waste of money and time.
It was so annoying to connect to the 3d printer. Although it had a wide variety of stuff to choose from . But it does work. But again it is annoying to use some times. So annoying to get setup. It has very bad wifi. But other from that it's pretty good for biggeners. It's not the best not the worst but right in the middle
Over all a very good app. No major issues with printing app prints. My only major issue is the creator space and the 3D viewer. The images just glitch out so its very hard to tell what the final product is going to look like. Other then that we have made 4 prints and are very happy.
There's a lot of positives to this app and system, but one glaring problem to fix is that the Back button closes the entire app. As going Back is a core reflex to using Android apps, this generates multiple extra steps to any printing task as you must continually retrace your steps to do anything. It would be great if the devs could test this app more thoroughly on Android, vs iOS.
The create function needs to be removed. This app is only good to print premade models. My 9yo daughter, who is usually very understanding and well behaved, just started crying in anger after, for TWO TIMES IN A ROW, the app deleted the work she's made with no warning and no way to recover it. TWICE. Moreover, it's extremely limited and frustrating to use. For creating something rather than just printing ready made toys, look at tinkercad.
App immediately crashes on launch. Can't even open it. Was working fine two days ago before this update.
It is so easy to use I love the fidget cube BTW its so cool when you do multiple colors I wish it was a tad bigger but it's still super cool
there's something wrong with this app. i cannot log out. i cannot connect to my printer I've restarted my phone and the printer. the printer connects to the internet fine but the app will not connect to the toybox. after about 4 months of this happening most of the time I'm about ready to give up on this thing.
With such horrible connectivity, constantly unable to connect printer to phone and internet. Passwords not accepted, bad instructions. Connectivity lost. Took me 4 hours to battle connectivity and passwords to print 1st toy before losing connectivity again. Toybox should have provided a direct USB and LAN connection to printer. Hardware let down by software. Dissapointed purchase. Just look at the amount of connectivity/password issues customers are experiencing in this thread below!
I love the app, but there are a few problems. I'm on the Google pixel 3 and when I hit the back button it completely closes the app. Also, I would love it if you could make the 20mb limit higher.
I've had this over a year. It's a fun portable toy for small prints. It needs wifi which isn't always a thing so having a second cellphone to set up a mobile hotspot is useful. The app updates have been great.
i just got my son the toybox 3d printer and the app keeps disconnecting. and says something went wrong. i was able to print 4 small items. but now it wont print cause it it has an error that wont go away. i tried unplugging and plugging in and reseting to factory settings and nothing. i dont know what to do now. i bought a very expensive toy that doesn't work at all.
it was ok not much options for my sons & daughters to pick.. some cool one but not many.. also would be best if we can navigate to the creators websites to possible request more designs.. but it shows the option to click and navigate to their sites but it does not navigate to their websites at all.. 😕
Freezes 90% of the time when importing a file to print. Garbage app
app is not working... on Christmas day, and none of the play packs work. gotta be kidding me!!!
Fix the Android app! I can't even connect to my printer.
i just recieved my printer but the draw part of the app will not work, i have turned my phone on and off many times and uninstallsd and reinstalled the app many times but it still does not work, very disapointed this was one of the parts of the printer i was looking forward to the most.
This app has AMAZING potential. Rith now it's not very intuitive and very sliw and buggy. All it need us some enhancements and some optimization and it's easily a 4.5
Was a great little app. Now it won't even let you edit anything for better quality or supports. Need to clean up your bugs.
Great app that's easy to use and does exactly what it says. Tech support is awesome should you have an issue. Especially useful for work deals
I tried making an account but it keeps saying that my passwords dont match, even though you cant see them, I click on show and there is nothing there even though I typed something in, I can see the cursor moving.
This is a great app and extremely useful if you have a business. The customer service is top notch and will help you get your account set up personally. Great app, great service and great people!
When I am 3D modeling when I open advanced options or something like that I can't close it it makes it very hard to do anything fix the thing that's supposed to close it
Looks good, except picking your birthday when setting up takes forever. You have scroll back the years one month at a time. Come on😔
Easy to use and it does what it's under for.! Not many ads, if any at all.! Thanks.! This is the only app that would work for me
Amazing 3d printer graphics good and I like it lots I recommend you buy this 3d printer with the app so good 10/10 amazing 3d printer amazing app recommended you but this today this amazing g little 3d printer will definitely change your life go to youtube search toybox labs and watch their amazing videos it I'd duper fast and good I drew a dog tag and uses as a dog bird and cat to have perfectly good tags for them they loved it too little 3d printer amazing 👍 good as a birthday present too 😀
I can log in my account by using browser, but can't log in by your app. It keep to hold on the log in page, please fix it.
I had to buy a whole new phone just to use it!
Very nice, but for now, their "create section" really needs work. Not innovative to create your own stuff on tablets. I have to go find other apps just to import. And that is not always great since we have to downsize it. I still think its a great entrance, and potential is definitly there. Like needing to turn an object on its size, or to add support is huge! I just get errors and no way to draw supports. Toybox, I'm advertising you guys to friends and family, 8,12,14 year olds love it! Me too!
