I spent 5 minutes on this app and my phone heated up like crazy. I noticed my battery go from 71% to 66% in 5 minutes of use (confirmed in my usage). The lag is real pain as well. Looking for an Xbox live card for a gift was just not happening, and the performance makes me nervous about making a purchase on this app. I don't want to loose my money, and have a nightmare with customer service.

I tried to oder a Google play gift card and guess what it showed ,a bin with stars on it.It will never Lett me pick my own gift card I want and it always showing me there toys r us gift card.But,when I go to the store I see what I want and I get it.I don't understand why they don't do that on online search. And either way you can't even by anything with a gift card any way.I don't understand.

It's horrible But theTRU website is worse super slow not mobile friendly like other shopping apps. Some features worked ok so I kept it for over 2 years now it keeps saying it can't continue Cuzz It needs to update. I just uninstalled it screw somebody let me know when they get it together

But this is seriously the worst app ever. Their website is pretty atrocious as well. Even when I registered for my baby shower almost 2 years ago, the website and app keep crashing. Or you get the stupid circle thing in the middle of your screen that spins..I can literally hear elevator music in my head when I see that stupid circle. Spinning and spinning, making me question every app I've ever downloaded. Get it together toysrus. Or I'm just going to register Christmas on Amazon.

When i am trying to select a product to see more info, the page doesent load, it keeps flashing weird. I would like to shop on this for Christmas gifts, however, i can't because of this problem. Now I'm going to make my purchases elsewhere.

The only reason I downloaded this app was for the easy wish list for the big toy book, then created a wish list. I then attempted to do as The Big Toy Book says, and use the camera feat. to add things to my list. Welp, that was a major bust. Clicked on the camera in the corner, got to a page for me to chose wish list or barcode. I clicked Wish List, my screen flickered blue, and then nothing. Tried a few more times and still nothing. Time to uninstall.

I think it's so messed because of you are looking for a toy it olny shows you like 9 toys and you know they have more it is also messed up cuz when you look up shopkins fullcase it olny pops up dolls. I really hate this app on trying to find a good app to ship but it is not helpful that's why don't use this app it really does not help my mom said this a trash it really makes be mad that this app is being messed up I would not use this ulgy app I hate this so much

Tried going to their site and tried adding my local store. Wouldn't automatically find, after I entered zip code it wouldn't let me select the store. Decided to see if there was an app and it does the same thing. Toys R Us: my 7 year old will re write your app for you, and make it work, if you would like. You can pay him in toys.

Why can't TRU get it. It's their web developers that's killing them. Horrible NEW website and horrible app that will not even open. HELLOOOO TRU top chairs... we like shopping at your stores but your website is what's killing you, we don't need store experiences, we need websites that work so when we shop from home to avoid the kids seeing what we buy we want it to go smoothly. Products not avail., sloooooow website, glitches everywhere, and freezes all the time.

This app seems pretty broken. I type things like "disney infinity" in the search box, it even offers auto complete options! However, no search can be done, hitting enter does nothing, nor does tapping on the suggestions. There is a barcode reader next to the search box, presumably to price check when you are actually AT the store? The app is just a mess. Using android lollipop on a Galaxy S3.

For the last week I haven't been able to get on at all. Keeps saying updating. I ended up shopping somewhere else and that makes me sad because I don't want to see ToysRUs go put of business. Also, I want to be able to look at multiple purchases in history not just one. Also, I want to be able to just talk with someone if I have a problem. I don't want to search through a long long sequence of possible questions to find an answer.

Downloaded the app to create a Christmas wish list for my kids. I got one wish list registered with no issues but then when I went to add items to the list that's when problems started. One I can't app anything either with taking a picture or just adding it by hand. Then the app froze and now I can't move anywhere!

I thought downloading the app would be a faster/better experience over opening a webpage on my phone. However that is not the case here. This app is incredibly slow scrolling through the pages. I have a pretty up to date phone too. Running a Nexus 6. Horrible user experience. Whoever developed this app should be fired.

Needed two bikes for upcoming birthdays. After finding it incredibly laggy, I started shopping for the bikes. I tapped on 20 inch and found 0 results. Many times. Then tapped on 18 inch and found all the 20 and 18 inch mixed together. That's when I remembered saving all my money as a 12 year old and buying a bike from TRUS. I destroyed that bike almost as quickly as I found this app needs uninstalling.

When the app loads, it shows a grey screen, then shows the home page, then grey screen again, then home screen, then grey screen then finally loads. When I go to use the barcode scanner, it switches to a camera but gives no option to press to use camera or scanner. It used to work so well before this last update. Now it just wastes space on my Android.

Update: the app was last update in 2015. Most likely changes to the website have broken it. Original: The app used to be mediocre. (It's basically just a wrapper for the mobile website.) Now it won't start at all. Every time you start it, it tries to do some sort of update. This has never worked in years of having this app, on different phones and with different phone companies. In the past it asked if you wanted to continue anyways after the update failed. Now it just tells you to try updating again. Since updating NEVER works, it's impossible to use it now.

This app suuuuucks. It's a bad port of the website, and you literally can't search for anything. You can browse categories, so what you want better be popular. Or you can scan the Barcode, so you have to have it in-hand. Other than that... Forget finding your product in this app. Save yourself the time and go to a PC and search. PLEASE FIX IT.

Broken. Every time I try to use it it says the app failed to update and says I may not have an internet connection, even though (watch this) I'm connected to the internet now, doing this review. Please fix or let us know it's broken and you're in the process of fixing it.

This app doesn't recognize my email even though I typed it in correctly. I had to order my purchases from the site because of this because I didn't want to retype in all my information. Update: It did take my email address when I took out the trailing space, so don't leave any spaces in your email addresses.

App fails to open. Says app did not update due to being offline and to try again. Still does not open and the retry button just continually loops.

This app is terrible. It's slow, the search never finds anything, and the UI jumps around, ESPECIALLY when you're using the search. Just use your favorite search engine if you just have to shop here so you can actually find anything.

I downloaded this app in order to finish my wishlist in the store. Despite all the negative comments I decided to download it anyways. I could not get the scanner to work. Then when I tried looking for something today I was unable to find it. This app needs to be fixed so that it works properly. If I could give it their 0 Stars I would!!

Right as I open the app there is an error message. It crashes and it is just a useless app. Please fix so that it WORKS! Would love to be able to use it again. We do not shop inside the stores near us because they are filthy and employees are rude!

I'm at the store, and i want to look at reviews using the bar code. And it pops up a window telling me all the wonderful things out can do with the camera but it locks up and won't DO any of those things. Worked once and got stock.
