TPI Stream

TPI Stream allows a gas engineer's Android device to interact with Bluetooth-enabled TPI716 Flue Gas Analyser devices, and, via Bluetooth low energy, with BLE-enabled TPI608 Manometers.

On first activating the application, company and engineer details, including the engineer's signature, are set up and retained for inclusion on all reports. A list of upcoming jobs is set up using customer details and job references.

Once connected to a Flue Gas Analyser, the application receives and processes Flue Gas Analysis, Temperature/Pressure and Let-by/Tightness data from the FGA. It produces formatted reports for each reading type, displays them on-screen and saves them for future reference.

When connected to a TPI608BT Manometer, Let-by/Tightness tests are run in real-time, with the option to automatically or manually implement pass/fail criteria. When 'automatic' is selected (for pipework-only testing) the on-screen display gives a clear, colour-coded dynamic indication whenever a reading goes outside a Permissible Leakage Tolerance of 0.25 mBar.

TPI608 Manometer reports can now also be run for Working Pressure (with a pass range of 21mBar ± 2mBar) and a simple Live Pressure reading.

In all cases jobs are signed off using touch-screen signature acceptance, producing reports for all readings, which include instrument serial number, location and time-stamp. Reports can then be emailed directly from within the application to the customer, the gas engineers's company and any other required recipients. Signed off jobs remain visible within TPI Stream until explicitly deleted.

Good app. Easy to navigate. Although could do with a bit more functionality. Could you add an option that shows the peak readings, and the possibility of a graph output in the report. The report looks smart, I'm just struggling to get the data out that is required as it is isn't specifically connected to a gas flue.
