TracePing
First, it finds the path between your device and any internet server and then starts to send periodical echo requests to each host on the way, gathering round trip time statistics.
TracePing is very useful to investigate network problems, to find out where exactly is the connection bottleneck or a failure.

Notes:
• Root is not necessary (except IPv6 hosts)
• Currently doesn't work on devices without 'ping' executable.
• 100% loss usually means that ICMP packets are blocked on this host or it is down.

Sooo close. But the trace function is badly broken: it misses the first response EVERY time, from EVERY hop. This is a bug. No other ping app has this problem.
Seems to drop the first few packets no matter what connection I'm on. Not exactly useful for what the tool is used for.
App is very good, but I can't understand why ping loss showing in all ip.
didnt work with error about trace. could have shown at least ips of first few hops

In Android tv too.
Used to get IP from domain but not trace on sgs3 unrooted. Now on Samsung galaxy s5 android 5.0 unrooted it is working just great, thanks. Assuming dropped packets to home router maybe android WiFi as PCs on Ethernet and wifi drop zero.
I am using WinMTR on PC 2 years ago. Very useful program for network testing. This is the same thing for mobile.
Nice tool, but the first ping is always counted as failed, which makes it unusable for the most.
Simplistic but very functional. I love that you can save reports and sites.
Very useful app, I rely on it. Only issue is that it could handle network down scenarios better; it freezes if Dns calls block.
Lots of choices, lots of apps tried. This one is easy to use, makes it simple to repeat a trace, and delivers a choice of views and big basket of info that exceeds my need.
Seems to report more dropped packets than it should. Also, couldn't get geolocation for any of the hosts I tried. With a little more work, this will be a great app.

Great app to get the map to load to to the map then click home and then do recent apps and click and it will reload the map:-) :-)

Used to work but now always says no route to host even though I have perfect connectivity to the host! Please fix.

Simple and effective. I use ping tracer on my windows machine and this is similar enough to get the job done. Trace route plus customizable constant ping.
