App shows my account is inactive no matter how many times I remove it and install it. I was told to update it. It was updated on April 13,2022. Haven't received a new update since then. Called tech support 4 times and still not working so I can log in to access my account. VERY frustrating!

0 stars this app has never worked it wont recognize any of my info keeps telling me OOPS spmething went wrong... Over a YEAR now my 8 gigs of data are gone in weeks when im only using half of that getting notifications my data is low. The phone says 3286MB used, thats 3.2 gb is that 8? No. I uninstalled 2x and same thing. Just tried it again same thing something went wrong RESPONSE FAILURE.

It serves it's purpose. But I can't enable the network optimizer. When I click on enable network optimizer a pop up that says either settings or cancel ❌ , and I'll tap on settings it goes to app info, I've enabled all permissions and it still doesn't allow me to enable the network optimizer. That's why there's 3 stars, ok? The app should also show you how many minutes were added to your account

Both the website and app since they got updated have both been incredibly unstable. The website either fails to display the checkout page, or the payment just fails for no reason. Then for the app, just straight up crashes as soon as you attempt to do anything with plans. Might be time to jump ship.

I have the same issues as two of the reviews I just read. I no longer receive alerts before data or plan runs out. I haven't been able to purchase data, texts or minutes individually. As soon as I try to shop through the app, it closes. As a long time user, I am very disappointed over the recent months.

App keeps crashing, I did a live chat they said Uninstall for 30 minutes and try again, didn't work or go to the website what's the point in having an app if you have to go to the website? It's been crashing too long and should have been fixed by now. I don't want to copy and paste anything I just want to be able to add minutes to my phones without any problems

I changed my email address at Tracfone's login on my computer. The changes would not update on my phone. I tried to get online help but received the all our reps are busy message try again later. Never got help so I uninstall the app on my smart phone and reinstalled the app before the app would update on my phone. Way to much of a hassle. And the voicemail app does not work.

It's fine when it works. Right now it said that I have no minutes or texts even though I have auto refill and have no problem with texts. Starting to seem a little scammy trying to get me to buy more minutes. Not sure how long I can keep putting up with this. Not happy

I used to love this app, but now it crashes every time I try to buy a plan on it. Also the widget has disappeared. The app is still there but not the separate widget. I hope they can fix these issues soon.

The app use to work ok, but when they did the update in January 2022, I was no longer able to use the buy minutes for a freind function. You add their phone number and it just logs in to your own number. Now if you have a pre-purchased card you can add for a freind. So I can no longer add minutes for my child at college. Then when you go to the chat icon it does not work. Called and got no help.

It used to work so well. Now all of a sudden everytime i want to buy a plan the app keeps stopping. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but its still not working. If i dont here from them soon im going to just get a new phone with a new provider.

Waste of time and money. No customer service. After waiting hrs reps have myriad of accents and very poor English skills. Recently went on a trip and couldn't access Internet although I had 2 GB of data. Returned home and now have 0 data left. Imagine using data without being able to use the Internet. They charged me 2x in January and spent 2 hrs on the phone trying to resolve it. They were to refund me one of the payments although they chose a defunct acct. Jokers

I am also a longtime user (18 years) of Tracfone. A few weeks ago you would have been rated 5 stars. My problem, as others have reported, is I am no longer able to buy minutes for a friend or the app just shuts down. And don't tell me to go to 611611 or live chat services. They both are automated and USELESS. Just FIX your problem.

I've been a TracFone customer since 2005. Throughout the years I've had various issues with the service from activation to apps buying minutes and data. But I've stayed with TracFone because it's cheap. Can't beat the ease and simplicity of it all. $20 minimum for x number of minutes and data. $10 dollars minimum for just data. Nice. But now I want to use my laptop more; I want a secure connection. (tethering) This is the one thing TracFone falls short in. So I'm switching to TMobile.

Got a new TracFone for less than $30 and it's everything I need. Works like a charm. I really feel badly for people who spend an enormous amounts of money for phones with all the bells and whistles (most of which they don't need or want).

I use to be a very loyal customer for TracFone and I bought this blu view 3 is worthless.i wait on hold and accept call back but know one cals back.phone since I bought it keeps saying no network.tracfhone technision told me factory reset.i do 5 munates later no network can't call or text probably gonna lose safelink.so ty TracFone. for not fixing your device and it's supposed to have fingerprint and it doesn't.they haven't even offer to replace the phone.so TracFone your a Big no go in my eyes

I've always been able to add more data/min individually when I need to through the app, but for the last few weeks, the whole app crashes when I click "Buy Plan." It's incredibly frustrating because apparently my entire account has been deleted because when I tried to log in online on my computer, it says my email associated with my account doesn't exist. Could not be more dissatisfied, and I know I'm just going to get the same copy/paste response to this. I'm not going to hold on call forever.

I waited on customer service for an hour, twice and they hung up both times without answering. They took my money and never refilled my phone and months later after filing BBB complaints they charged my account again. I cam even delete my payment info or account on the app!

In the past, I've had minimal issues with this app. Now, today ( actuality 10 min ago) I have been constantly getting kicked off when I try to look at the "extras or plans" option. I can look at other things on here. But, the app crashes when I try to view the above-mentioned items. I hope there is a fix for this.

Same problem as other contributes......can't buy airtime via the app. Now getting a little tired of the generated replies advising to follow a link. Given that this problem has been ongoing for some time now, ain't it time for TracFone to extract the digit and fix the problem????

Im very dissatisfied with Tracphone. I recently opened an account,everything was working perfectly until i tried using the app to log in and have been unsuccessful. This makes no sense trying to use the phone number, email address, and the sim card number that was initially used to do the setup but nothing works. Seems my whole account has been deleted. I need this resolved.

I feel absolutely betrayed. I have been a loyal TracFone user since 2005, enjoying the ease of their à la carte style of buying minutes, texts, and data. But that's gone now. For instance, if you try to go buy data, the page is gone, replaced by a 404 error. The options for their signature à la carte service are gone, and we are now forced to buy monthly plans. I have been a loyal customer for 17 years, but now I think I'm going to go elsewhere unless they backtrack on this.

Hi I've used Tracfone for at least 10 years its been great. The only issue for me at this point is the App hasn't let me buy time for a friend after the last update. It also doesn't update the status of Data, phone or text unless you close down the App and try it later. It should let us know as soon as we open the app of any updated airtime. Thanks!
