TrackDirect - NAIPS Briefing and Flight Planning
Within the app your username and password are remembered and used automatically, rather than having to log on every hour or so. Current features include location and area briefings and graphic charts (grid point winds, synoptic charts etc.)
Briefings are retained on the device (but marked as outdated after a period of time) so you can easily refer to a previous briefing, or share it via email or other applications. A quick refresh button will get an updated version of any previous briefing - in full, not just changes.
A basic flight-planning mechanism is provided which allows constructing a route with estimates of time, fuel burn etc, and this can be displayed on a map.
Location search uses an on-device database with all Australian airfields, ALAs, navaids and both VFR and IFR waypoints included. Coordinates and distance and direction from your current location are displayed, along with first/last light times.
This app is under active development and more features will be progressively released. All current functionality is free but some future features may be paid-for options.

Great for getting naips info in a mobile friendly way. UI could be a bit nicer (eg use device keyboard) in places but certainly does the job well.
Good potential, but I've got a similar issue to a few others here where I can't seem to get the keyboard to appear at all.

Can we please get an update soon?, GPS map on planning screen is broken but it'd be nice if we could go back and forth between that page and the breifing page without resting the views.. also maybe pull down to refresh on the breifing page?,
Hi Clyde I hope your cirrus is still going well. By far the best wx app. Although with the recent change of the code for Wollongong YSHL is not detected as an ad by your system although the code works with naips. Would be great if you could update it. Cheers, Julian(from Cooinda)

Gaf images say they are invalid and i cant view them. Very inconvenient before a flight test.....
Feed back report doesn't seem to work. Just greys out when you hit submit.

Best NAIPS app there is! Draws SIGMET'S and weather in ARFOR'S (must have saved me hours compared to the PCA) Nice, simple and quick to use interface. The planning abilities have grown are surprisingly powerful. Can't believe its free, Keep up the great work devs!

Latest version with GAF does everything it's supposed to. Nice option for hi-res GAFS too. Easy to use, it's my go to app for all briefings now.
Well done, and I love the graphical displays of SIGMETs and other obscure ARFOR boundaries. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
My "airline" employer does not provide wx briefings at turnarounds, so this app is my only reliable method of updating my SPFIBs. Two thumbs up!

Unusable keyboard. Edit: Bad interface in general...nothing about this app complies with current android design standards - looks like it was designed by an old weekend warrior coding in his spare time. Uninstalled and replaced with a restored app, Navbag AU, which I've used happily for years. I'm not after support, I'm leaving a review.
