Just what I needed to keep my GPS 'alive' (from getting to suspend mode) while using Sport tracker. Thank you. Edit: I am really disappointed... my device still after a while let the GPS to shut down. Probably it is my device's problem still don't know ?!?
This app works perfect apart from shutting itself down after a while. I am using it in the background with Endomondo and without the extra precision of Tracker booster Endomondo does not pause when I stop temporary because it thinks I am stil moving around a bit. Please, developer, can you fix this or maybe give an explanation for this shutting down?
I have searched internet for such app and there it is I am loving it. It works perfect easily to use, simple with no problem at all.
Fixed my GPS Fix error . my gps is useless before but just tried this app and started and send it to background after 10-15 mins my phone got GPS fix.
Does a decent job of finding a GPS signal. Real helpful with all the exercise apps I use.
Would give it 5 stars if it would quit shutting down all the time. 1.7 stayed running.
Works fine for me on android 2.3.4. I've never understood why google maps switches off gps when it goes to background.... Typical google design fail!
No more deep sleep issues. Now gps always up. Using it for last 1 month and half.
The app works great while it's running but version 1.8 still keeps turning itself off so that makes it pretty worthless when working out. Harri, please fix this! :-) I'm using Android ICS OS. One star for now and I will revise if it gets updated to fix the bug.

This is a handy app that keeps your gps signal locked when you back out of apps that need GPS. Saves finding gps again. However it does stop itself sometimes which is annoying
When I start it, it shows 0 meters tracked (GPS is on, Google map works well for example). So...it is not ready to be used. At least on my nexus...
Using with Endomondo, I instantly got more accurate routes. Thumbs up!
...but constantly shuts itself down in the background. This defeats the actual purpose of the app, hope it gets fixed as this is a really great app.
Useful auxiliary utility especially if you use apps where realtime updation of your coordinates is vital.
It does work on ICS. However the difference made is small only.

Dont know the meaning
The app works great however the UI could use a little work. On my Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD the buttons are small and all in the upper left corner of the screen. This causes a problem when starting the app as I sometimes accidently hit stop at the same time I hit send to background effectively shutting the app off and minimizing. It would be helpful if the buttons were a little bigger, spaced out more, and possible centered. A suggestion for an improvement would e to turn the status ICON green when it is running and locked on to GPS signal, leave it blue when when it is idle and not started, and make it red when it is running but not locked on to GPS signal.
