when app opens, a modal dialogue box appears asking me to check my internet connection. it's just fine. the app closes if I hit OK. can't go beyond this point. App only needs one thing to make it really rock - it needs to actually work!
Works well, for those who are concerned with the volume and power button option for thieves. You need to adapt your biometric settings as I've done this. My fold 2 needs my face finger print or pin to turn my phone off. This can easily be done on other Samsung models google it or watch a YouTube tutorial cheers Bren
I dropped my phone in a snowbank on the highway when I had to stop and fix my wippers. Didn't realise till I got to work. The phone was right where the locator brought me. The only things I would add is a link to drive there with gps... Also a history would be nice. A few refreshes was sending me back home for some reason but fantastic. Found my phone with this app.
Worked perfectly for me. Just make sure the phone is ALWAYS signed into your Samsung account and the app should have no problem locating it, even if the battery is low. Found my Galaxy S9 immediately and I was able to recover it.
The amount of ads in the app is unacceptable. Not only does the app is slow, ads keep popping up every single step of the way. The person who has my phone is getting further because of the ads thanks
notification keeps coming up and it's annoying I had to go into the settings of my phone to put it on silent there need to be an option to turn off the notification in the app itself and to be able to switch back and forth between accounts and devices
Everytime a click a button an ad pops up and it's really annoying, and this app doesn't even work, waste of time
It's an awesome app but I wish it could do everything on the phone remotely like switching on the phone if it's switched off ,switching on data connectivity if it's switched off just like on a PC
I have 2 phones but can't see on tracker how to add other one. Do I have to add it by downloading app to 2nd phone & using my same Samsung account.? It would be handy to add mine & other family members phones via the one app installed on 1 phone. Can I use the Samsung Tracker App on another phone to find my phone? More info is needed with app as nothing is explained.
This is the best app in the world, my phone was on mute and I clicked the ring button, and it rang on this app. This app tells you where and if u wanna call it, it calls it even if your phone is on mute. BEST APP EVER!!!! 🤗💯
This application is is very good but the map is not as clear as google find my phone. The map has not details of roads and places' names. Please update the map. Thanks.
Get rid of the ads, I'm sure Samsung earn enough money without putting stupid ads on the app every 10 seconds.
Nobody wants to look at 20 ads while trying to find their phone. I had this app a short time and had to watch so many ads while trying to find my phone.
The problem is.... If someone steals your phone and do the factory wipe data reset using volume up and power button - that's it - you can't remotely control your stolen phone anymore. The next thing you'd only have control of is your Google account which this app has no access to. 😰👎
it works perfect as long as I'm within Bluetooth distance of my phone I'm wondering if I can set it up to where if I'm out of Bluetooth range may I still be able to locate my phone if lost please help if possible but otherwise works great
Full of ads. Must be signed in to samsung account on device to be found. Cannot login. Does not recognize my password. Tried to reset password but cannot get past email. Did I mention the ads? It is a search ad that asks for your phone number... while trying to login/reset password.
Terrible, absolute garbage The ads in this app are incessant. That itself raised alarm bells that this is not a Samsung app. I looked at who created this and saw it is indeed not by Samsung. Explains the constant ads. Almost immediately my phone started to become slow and unresponsive. I signed out, cleared data, cleared cache, force stopped and uninstalled this app. Please don't download this app.
