Since the Andriod OS update on Feb 4 2022, the Tracki screen strobes as it repeatedly redraws the map. So far, it has not stopped strobing and this makes the app impossible to use. It wasn't that great before, because the phone app did not synch with the web one and would cancel out settings made on the other interface. But now? It's impossible to use.
I had some buggy glitchy issues that the company has worked diligently to correct and I have to say...Im happier with the product now but I'm especially happy with the customer service and how on top of everything Tom has been. I've never had a company try so hard to make me happy! I truly feel they value their clients.
App crashes instantly. I paid for a subscription, but immediately regret it. My device was recognized the first time I used it, and then it immediately showed an error, both on app and laptop. Customer service was polite, but said that this was the first they had heard of the app crashing. My device was rebooted, per the tech, and I was told that it will take a few minutes to be recognized. My device has not yet been viaible/active. I am trying to be patient, but what a waste.
First thing i must say, of the many brands of trackers ive tested over time, this one was the easiest to get going very quickly. It just works right out the box. Most importantly, i had some questions that werent answered by the manual and their tech support contacted me to make sure i was happy with it. Easy to navigate app just tops it off... There are a few quirks with it but its still better than the rest.
When you click cancel subscription, it brings you to a blank screen that says, "Everything OK!" You have to go to the web, where they tell you they're going to contact you soon instead of "letting you" cancel. It was fine before I tried to cancel. UPDATE: The email confirming the cancellation was sent fairly promptly and I didn't have to re-request cancelling like I was expecting to. I've bumped it up to 3 stars, because to be fair, I don't have any problem with the app itself
Useless beyond initial setup. It was finicky when I used it to setup and then once I tried to set it up to sms or email me it flashes about once every 0.5s pulling away the keyboard to type. Obnoxious. I was eventually able to type in what I needed, hit save(about 12 times to make it work) and then the cell and email addresses don't show up for me to select to send notifications. Useless for automatic notifications.
Its does the job & its accurate, You can see the car going through a drive thru, when & where it stops and for how long and when its moving again. You can also see the speed the cars moving & you can setup to receive notificationsof all sorts. Battery lasts for several days at 1min check-ins. Easy to hide. Low monthy fee. Low price. Does the same thing much higher priced GPS's do.
Drained battery too fast, not as per specification.
The device stopped working and I've put in a request to cancel the subscription and still have not heard anything from the request. If this company continues to charge me I will be filing a lawsuit. I can't even send the device back because it is past the return time. My subscription included 1 minute updates and my device stopped updating and was an entire day behind and stayed that way.
