Tractive MOTION
MOTION tracks your pet's activity 24/7 and tells you whether or not your pet needs to be more active. The movements are divided in three categories "lazy", "active" and "dynamic".
Several sensors provide information to you and your pet’s veterinarian. Aside from a motion detection sensor, MOTION also uses an accelerometer, a temperature sensor and a brightness sensor to monitor your pet's behavior and your pet’s ambient temperature and ambient light. So you'll soon understand the correlation between your pet’s activity and external influences.
You can set a daily goal of Pet Points, that are calculated by taking into account steps, movements, playtime and additional information provided by the sensors. The more your pet moves, the more Pet Point he gets.
Through an integrated high-resolution display you can easily see the collected Pet Points for the day and check the progress towards the daily goal.
The data is synced automatically and wirelessly to your smartphone, where the free MOTION app offers easily understandable statistics about your pet’s activity for every day, week and even the entire month. Motion not only shows you the activity data of your pet, you can also compare days, weeks or months so you can find out if there is a change in your pet’s activity.
You can manage multiple pets with MOTION devices in the app and the device wirelessly syncs its information to your smartphone. Tractive MOTION uses Bluetooth 4.0 to send its data to the smartphone. The app promotes healthy and active pets with achievements and shows the worldwide pet activity rank of your pet.
The waterproof MOTION device weighs only 7g and with a size of 15mm x 50mm x 9mm it can be used on cats, dogs and any other animal 2 kg and over. Tractive worked with vets to ensure the device does not harm the pet and is light enough so your pet won't even feel it is there. MOTION can collect activity information for over a week without being recharged.

The app works but it's really hard to connect the app with the reactive device... You waste a lot of time trying to check the statistics of your pet that day... Annoying.
can not connect to device and app won't let me sign up says check internet connection even though internet is fine. waste of money and time. have tried to reinstall many times. I'm not that daft. Have also been in contact before and since November still not working.
Avoid at all costs. doesn't connect or sync. frustrating. Poorly made.
I have 2 dogs, will only let me sync one, getting hold of a person impossible, doesn't tell me clearly the activity, cant get any help from company
Got this great little device today, so now me and my dog both have activity watches, and as little bonus looks great on her coller as well. Only problem is would be nice to be able to change the time from 24h to 12h. Other than that highly recommend.
The tracker itself is ok can't really complain for £9.99 on offer, don't think I would pay full RRP. The app on the other hand doesn't always sync with the tracker, quite often says it can't find the tracker even though the phone with the app is right next to the tracker. The tracker software also doesn't seem to have a memory if the battery dies or if you font sync it before midnight you lose the days data
I wish I could see how many steps he took each hour . I can see the graph but cannot select a certain time and maybe see the temperature over all day not only now Thanks a lot
Garbage - put in my username and password and it loads to 100% and crashes and never opens again. Cleared data and cache, same thing keeps happening.
Great app... love the fun descriptions about my pet's activity!
Not impressed, lost on a dog walk after only having it a week! Should be able to withstand normal use. Also battery doesn't last more than 2 days and sometimes only lasts one so it's always on charge. Points don't mean anything, miles or calories would be more useful. Doesn't tell me anything I don't already know, I know when my dog is walked funnily enough cos I'm with him..
Definitely not as user friendly as my Fitbit, but I got this to determine if/when my epileptic dog is having seizures when we're not home. So all I really need to be able to see is spikes in his activity level. Thrilled about it!
After 24 hours it dies. And points? Doesn't tell me how far my dog has been. Not impressed at all. Won't be advising my friends to buy.
Have only been able to sync twice since activated. Took an hour of switching on and off the app for it to sync each time. The reset button doesn't do anything. Will try once more before I throw it in the bin.
The app just recently updated and I was force to make an account! Now all the data is gone because the new update app won't connect with it. Until I reset the device!
Not syncing with the device
I love the Tractive motion for my pet pooch. Is encouraging when you see your dog progress up the world rankings and know that he's getting plenty of good exercise. One thing I'd love to see is to be able to rank by breed or age or even region. Superb device though.
finally a fitness tracker for pets!
Great idea but not syncing at all. Have to reinstall app to get to sync. Bluetooth is finding device but app not funding it. Very frustrating!!
Could not get device to sync to phone. FAQ page offered no answer to initial pairing difficulties.

The app and device are a huge disappointment. I've only had it since November and it always takes forever to update and now it's not working at all. It's just showing the battery screen and won't sync at all anymore.
