Needs a lot of fine tuning. Notifications about upcoming auctions, when you're outbid, reminders that an auction you bid on is about to end, either don't work at all or work rarely. Annoying that TradeMe property is a separate app, but then this app lets you view properties anyway, just without a lot of convenient features. Just ask your staff to use the app actively for three months and take notes for improvement.
Please stop updating what used to be a very well functioning app. Gets more glitchy and less user friendly with each update. Recent searches doubling up every time being opened, refine menu function requiring a back arrow for each selection, pictures not showing on listings....
Lately I've been having trouble with the app suddenly closing which is bloody annoying. I thought it may have been my Wi-Fi but it isn't. Even when I use data on my plan it says app not working and then closes. Please fix.
App is great..but I had had to uninstall it twice already. First I lost the ability to quick log while switching accounts ( never recovered this option) then when booking couriers as I press next it started activating the keyboard not moving to next steps. So lost quick switch between accounts and now can't book all the couriers due to sometimes this malfunctioning
Worst feature is the search feature as it is hard to find what you are looking for as the search feature is really poor and lots of unnecessary items pop up under your search topic making your search for specific items frustrating. I wish someone would come up with a better alternative as Trade Me is so bad and it just keeps getting worse and worse.
Search is still rubbish. Can't load a basic search and go back without the app starting from scratch. A poorly developed app that just gets worse over time. Needs a more simplified interface and redeveloping. To bloated with pop up ads everywhere and slow performance.
Used to be great, but keeps cloning my recent searches even if I don't change the search criteria, so now I have multiple copies of the exact same searches, I keep having to X the searches. Super annoying.
Keeps asking me for my email and password everytime I change to my watch list and other sites, and when I load it in it tells me it's an error and won't let me open up or save, and it's getting, and if I don't use the app and just go Google it will let me in with my email and password with no problem the app is not working for two days it's just stopped working
Crashes most time I open the app. Hope they fix it soon, takes forever to load, and is always freezing. Probably going to remove soon and just go back to PC use only.
Is all good but has no real competition in NZ so does have many flaws and often drops out for no reason at all. App definitely needs work, some search filters don't do what you request and some categories lack critical filters that could save so much time.
Currently doubling up on searches which is annoying and so much cheap garbage from China on here its starting to feel like Wish or Ali Express. The cost of listing items 'success fees' is a rip off and using Facebook Marketplace is better. Always loved TM but these days it is a far cry from its origins.
Why do companies feel the need to change UI when there's nothing wrong with it in the first place. The recent changes to the process of setting up a listing takes twice as long and the "Payment Option" shows zero options to choose for, which means I cannot list anything. 27/12/21 This apps updates are horrific. Always changing stuff that doesnt need to be changed causing further bugs and issues. I cannot list anything as it says I have to pay for the scheduled time fee, which I didnt even select
Not bad, bad a lot of things could be improved. No 1 thing... make search by colour in car section! Filter should contain that option as well. Like this I have to scroll for hours only because I have to see all the cars. For example... if I want black, it must be black! I don't have to see all the other cars, because I'm not going to change my mind.
Unreliable app, crashes often, reinstalling doesn't appear to help - same on other devices. Very frustrating app. Hopeless. Best to access trademe use on desktop computer.
Used to be good but by "improving" it just makes it harder to get around. What used to be 1 push of a button has turned into 3 or more. Latest is YouTube won't open, says it isn't installed. It is.
No proper contact available. Aramex options for courier not showing even though they've been there in the past. Only nz post option showing, and they lose 90% of packages.
Since most recent update I am consistently session timed out after a short period of inactivity & unable to log back in unless I uninstall & reinstall the app. Tried all other trouble shooting to no avail. What is going on?
The app keeps be blocking me out, and I can't get back in, and I can't change my password if I uninstall the app and reinstall I have the same problems, so annoying when I'm trying to bid on an auction.
Shows the same listings over and over again when you scroll; I counted 5 times of seeing the same job listing before I gave up and the same happens in all categories. I hate the automatic option where it shows you the category it thinks you're looking for; its usually wrong. So many unnecessary steps! There should also be the option to "hide all" listings from a certain seller e.g often a listing will say it is NZ based but in the description says it will take 30 days to arrive from China.
Can't book a courier, the app won't let me click "next" when setting up the second page. It just gets stuck opening a keyboard with no reason. (I also had issues trying to add photos to a listing, but was able to after doing the same thing a few times.)
Refine options is now at the top of screen. Requires more effort to scroll and change options being at the top... its too far away to reach with one hand (Is actually really annoying) It was effortless to change options when sitting along the bottom. I scroll through trade me daily. I'd wish i had never updated it. Small yet annoying change to the app. Great app tho
This update of the trade me app isn't working for me. It tell me I have to set my date and time correctly. The website works in an internet browser and I've tried reinstalling the app. But the problem persists. I want to buy some things and Trade Me has made it harder for me to do that now.
Fix the search double up bug in the current version. This is the second time you have introduced the same bug.
Rubbish!! Keeps closing while in use now months on it still doing it as well as doubling up on saved searches
Really annoying, app keeps closing soon after opening, I have full service and excellent wifi coverage, doesn't matter where I am. I've missed out on 2 auctions because of this. Trade Me works fine on lap top, just mobile version no good. No response to messages about fault by trade me. Never been right since last update And looking at review section I'm not the only one.👎👎👎😡
Well at the moment this app is doubling up on saved searches which is annoying, every time you click on a saved search and then exit that search you end with another saved search of the same, so obviously these a bug in the app to fix, so hopefully it gets sorted sooner rather then later. Otherwise it's a good app.
