There are constant problems. As soon as one is fixed you create another. Before it was the saved searches being deleted or not working. Now videos won't play - telling us to install YouTube even though it has been installed all the time. Honestly some better testing should be done before putting updates out. Pretty amateur.
Trying to change email address on my account but can't find where to do it. Clicked on "contact us" but when I go to email by clicking the link the trademe email address not there or anywhere. Previously it wouldn't let me change credit card details. Took a week for customer service to get back to me. Frustrating not having any customer service on hand with trademe. Big fees. No customer service. Complicated but also very basic & non user friendly app.
My saved searches and watch list are not loading. Also new searches are not loading. I have deleted the app and reinstalled a few times over the last 2 weeks and again today. It's still not working.
Since you update 4 days ago, Videos will no longer play. It comes back with a response saying you need to download You Tube Player from your Library to be able to play. I already have YouTube downloaded and have never had this issue previously. It only started after your latest update.
App hasn't been loading saved searches for a few days now on both my and my partners phone, very frustrating. I will get a notification to say there are new search results but when I click on the saved search I just get the loading circle. Even brand new saved searches still won't load. While you're at it, it would be great to add garage size as a search filter 😉 Otherwise a great app, thanks!
3D property tours don't seem to be working in the app now. In the search results list view, you can see the icon that a property is available in 3D but when you open the listing there is no button to access it 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I originally posted a one star review with the below comments - and I'm really impressed with how quickly the trademe team responded and fixed the bug! Thank you! The only reason this isn't 5 star is because it would be really amazing if Trademe had a filter for freehold vs leasehold. ---- The latest update is horrible. The map view jumps around every time I try to zoom in - can't get anywhere close to where I want to look. No point in using it unless it's fixed.
Map view doesn't work. Edit: 3 months later and the Map still has issues. The properties are automatically refreshed on zoom change. The problem is that the entire huge areas are empty and you can't even see any properties to zoom in there. Only after you've zoomed quite much the properties appear magically! Please see what google does. There needs to be some indicator that there are properties in that area otherwise users will not even zoom in there! Please, respond to this. It's a real shame.
Loved this app but now it won't work at all. Can't see my saved searches or watch list. Just keeps saying 'hello Melanie'. I uninstalled and re-installed but still the same. Please fix!!! I am trying to buy a house!!!
Couldn't sleep with app. I've had to disable all notifications because it's coded to give reminders to check your saved searches almost hourly, even during the middle of the night. Once I woke up at 4:30 AM and another at 5:30 AM. This is a simple coding fix that you need to make, restrict the hours which it reminds people.
I'd like to give this 5 stars but suddenly the distance and times to walk bike or drive have been removed and I really need this information. Can you reinstate please? And now I have them back but it's not saving my places. Still not saving the distance times as at 11 March 22. Can this be fixed please??
App doesn't work at all since last updated. It doesn't show my saved searches and doesn't allow me do to a new search.
App keeps closing results or closing entirely. Have tried updates, uninstall/reinstall, system clean and still no luck.
Terrible app. Always crashes when viewing images.
I had been using the ordinary TM app until I discovered this. It's quicker, smoother and much more user-friendly. We need more tools for people looking to buy and rent, and more information about those properties. I'm hoping that different refinements could be added, for example, if there is a garden, it should be easier to find. People should be able to first look at photos showing what is important to them, not someone else's decision.
Reasonable app. The map side can be a little hit and miss sometimes but works well on the whole.
I've had the same issue with videos and also not getting search results, map view not loading results properly or updating as I move the map. Basically unusable since the last update a few days ago
My app has not been working for the last 4 days, my saved search and watch list are not working us so bad I cannot use the app anymore at all . Nothing will load
Would be better if you could see your watch list offline and with an easier way to save photos.
Always loved this app its my go to when looking for a good rental I've had 3 rentals with help of this app and I'm 20 years old so seem to be good sometimes you must be careful with the houses your choosing because sometimes they are not updated but maybe a property manager fault or landlord fault
Please make the option to choose oldest listing to tired of having to select latest listing then scrolling all the way to the bottom most of the time when I scroll down it glitches and takes me back to the top
Latest update has broken the ability to view videos. I get an error message saying I need to install YouTube. I already have YouTube!
Great app usually but rental searching not working for the past few days. However, developer responded quickly and app working well again now!
I didn't want to leave another review but I've been waiting for them to fix the bugs in this app for weeks now. Clearly others have complained about not being able to see their saved searches and the app not loading certain things. Frustrating that this has gone on so long and bugs seem to keep reoccurring.
Great App!! Lots of elements to this App from allowing notices for saved property searches, distance of property to your childrens school, ability to search a particular real estate company and/or a property manager. Creating a profile and registering for a property has never been easier. If the property is leased to someone else then registering for another one is only a matter of adding the same profile you created BUT changing the property details!! Even buying has great functions tp help
Still doesn't work properly!! Can't search by keyword, list comes up but properties show as blank rectangulars, and can't tap into any of the listings. -update, they fixed it.
