Not great for subscribers. Love the content, tone, and amazingly correct grammar. However, a subscriber has to sign in every time app is closed and reopened to get rid of ads. Also, no search function on app (maybe I missed it?) gives website an edge, but I have to use ad blockers there.
The app isn't fancy but gives me what I need. Information is very current. Im using an Android and the only complaint is when I scroll down thru the articles and read one...then hit the back button, it sends me back to the top. Have to re-scroll all the way back down to where I was.
My Baltimore Orioles feed and Lakers feed started showing stories from 3 years ago and now that's all I get. I've unsubscribed to those pages and resubscribed. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app. Nothing works. I have no use for this app if I can't get the stories I want.
I get a 24 hour window of articles. Then they disappear into the abyss. Chronologically the stories go from 1, 2, 3 .... 22, 23, 24 hrs to EIGHT WEEKS. Each week that passes the count goes up by another week. Wrote feedback before. No reply. No fixes. Even uninstalled and reinstalled, twice. Nothing.
Up to date. Informative. Well laid out. Fantastic resource. But the comment section is far less pleasing to the eye on the app version as opposed to the web version. Overall great app though.
I registered my account via the website, because it's not recognizing my username on the Android app. After finally registering the account, now it does not recognize my username in the Android app as well. Not sure what the heck I'm doing wrong, but it's not working with the app. I've downloaded it several times. I love the app and it's very informative, but to put comments into a storyline is becoming nothing short of a nuisance
Great app but for some reason now when I click on articles it's just a white blank page and even when I clear the cache or close the app it still does it. But then sometimes it works perfectly fine. Not sure what the problem is.
Useful, but the feeds are wildly inconsistent. Individual team feeds frequently claim to have no updates for weeks on end (Dallas Stars), despite mention in the league feed. The NHL feed has 10 updates from today, then inexplicably jumps to six weeks ago. All of yesterday's updates are gone...good luck if you missed them.
It's actually fun to read about rumors from so many different sources. I enjoy going back through them after a player has been signed. It's like a sports soap opera! Constant updates keep me apprised and up to date about the flurry of action. Highly recommend!
I rarely write app reviews but as an avid baseball fan I am compelled to recommend this one--timely, accurate news (and not only on trade rumors but also on injury reports, minor league prospects, etc.) and near-comprehensive coverage of all things baseball. It's especially a must-read not only during Spring Training and trade deadlines (when roster moves and rumors proliferate) but through out the year--an indispensable guide for the true baseball (sports) fan.
Suddenly the app started showing news from 3 years ago for two of my selected favorite teams. Cannot find a way to resolve and I do not see a support option.
Does exactly what it promises -- reliably delivers timely team and league specific updates and push alerts -- while using minimal resources. Love the power user feature to save data.
Not sure why you have what happened 3 years ago instead of telling me what is happening right now for individual team pages that I follow. I really like your app otherwise.
Currently, the most recent updates for St. Cardinals is 3 years old. Happened last week. Can't get the team specific news to update.
Used to love the app. But the team I follow (Royals) no longer gets updated. The last information posted to the Royals was 2 months ago. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck. I know we're no good, but I'd appreciate this being fixed.
Good app for all the latest rumors. I really like that you can select Individual teams and leagues to kind of filter what you want and dont want to see.
GREAT app. Great amount of info, news, updates. Some useful links. However, states there is "link below" at times, when there is nothing. Still, all in all, a great source of information for us non US citizens who need their NBA fix
I wish picking your favorites worked a little better. I picked my favorites, ex: I picked every NFL team and NFL catagory but I'm still getting MLB news. Otherwise is amazing it's better than other apps. It will definitely be the best if that wasn't happening!
Really like the app, has run in the background of my phone for years. Would give 5 stars but it has baseball and football rumors on the same app. I sometimes swipe over and it takes away from my overall enjoyment of the app. Recommend adding more baseball, remove Basketball and Football.
My comments never post, even though they are relevant and on topic. Always says waiting for moderation, and they just sit there and never get put through. Frustrating to waste time typing out something thoughtful. Other than that, solid material and good reading.
Been using this site since 2008 and the app makes it such a more convenient experience. Being able to enable certain notifications and sort by teams makes sorting through articles even easier.
I really like the amount of detail that goes into each update. And they cover all the updates, even the minor ones.
Timely, well written, up to date information on all things baseball or football related. One stop shopping. Great app.
Super good, informative, timely information. You can filter by team, as well. So I can only read about the Mariners, if I want!
I like the app but too often I get blank page when I want too read a story. This is a recent bug but a regular one.
This application has a few glitches. For example, within the past two weeks, my favorite MLB team's page has reverted to news from three years ago, nothing newer. Even uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix. Its ok, I guess... my favorite NFL team is up to date
