TradeUP: Trade Stocks & Option

Good luck ever getting a chance to talk with any real person if there's ever an issue. Absolutely everything is automated and their AI help desk is a complete joke. You get flagged for everything. And ABSOLUTELY ZERO TRADING PREMARTKET OR AFTER-HOURS. Conveniently ever trade is "currently unavailable" even though that's what they market to bring you in. A complete joke trading app. Charts are the worst I've ever seen. Prices are incorrect etc. Stay far away. Don't repeat my mistakes.

The app has improved an incredible amount in the last year in pretty much every department. Definitely recommend it now that they've fixed a lot of the issues. Still could use some UX improvements in how margin accounts are handled. It's not clear at all how much margin you're currently utilizing, what the interest rate is on that margin, what your margin requirements are, etc. A pie chart or graph of some kind would be super useful here.

Almost everyone now does 0 commission trading so that on its own while nice is not really a strong reason to choose one broker over another. It seems like you have to choose a traditional broker who gives you useful data in a date interface or a newer one with a nice UI but theres literally nothing for analysis. This broker is 0 commission with a well design interface and has access to financial statements with indicators on charts. I think it’s really well done so far, and there are new features that keep getting added. A recent addition was the desktop app which I’ve been using since its on a larger screen. A great value and cant wait to see more!

Overall a solid new broker. My favorite part is the live bid ask indicator since I can see current prices of a listing and also if people are buying or selling more. The customizable charts and indicators are great for analysis and its really easy to adjust the charts. I looked around but haven’t been able to find anything about level 2 data. Perhaps this could be a new feature?

I honestly found this App by accident. I saw they offer free quotes, so I decide to try it out. The layout is pretty clean, easy to navigate. They offer demo account to test drive their platform, which is pretty cool. The only annoying part I discovered so far is their chart cannot go landscape, little bit hard for me to read especially when I add indicators to the charts. But overall, I like it, and I just opened an account. We will see.

If you don't want to LOSE MONEY, don't use it! You can't see your daily growth/lose on the App. The premarket data are WRONG! Always 0%. You can only draw lines on their web app, but the web app cannot even show your positions. You have to trade with the App but the App has only limited data comparing with their web App. Only less than 10 indicators are available. You can't login on two different devices. It spams notification queue. Overall, it is a garbage. Don't waste your TIME and MONEY!

App is good, but I found out this broker doesn't have importing tax forms to turbo tax. Please add it to make it easier!

The iPhone app is solid but my favorite feature is the desktop or i guess web support. Being able to trade on my computer is so important to me that I wouldn’t consider a broker if they didn’t support it. Tradeup implements it really well with real time information, and a really nice interface. Placing an order is really straightforward and executes quickly.

I have switched several brokers these couple of years. I used TDA, love their platform, but the commission is too expensive, then I switched to Robinhood. I liked it first, but then, you know, you got what you paid for, no service at all. Some of their glitches can drive you nuts! I discovered this App when I looked around in the App store. They have a free stock promotion, which is a little bit trick, because they give you the same amount of cash value, instead of adding a stock to your position. So far, I like everything they have, good service as well, but it looks like the complex option is not available. I am thinking about transfer my remaining assets from Robinhood to them.

Their order page is awesome! They give you streaming bid and ask price, cost, pre and aftermarket trading, also conditional options. They even offer estimated amount you can buy or sell with your balance. I really enjoy those features, since I day trade on a regular basis and every split second matters, have no intention to waste my time on inserting all the little details.

I am really excited about what comes next with tradeup. I found out about this app when it launched, and since then they have added desktop support, hong kong trading, and a lot of promos. The app is solid with really nice features like good charts, and access to financial statements. Definitely worth checking out if you trade.

Very misleading promotion. On the site it said all id have to do is download open an account and then open the box to get a free stock. But after doing all of that, it gives me a list of 4 to 5 other things I'd have to do to get a free stock, such as inviting friends etc etc. Those extra little things to do to actually get a free stock should be on the promo page. If your are misleading about something that simple, it makes me wonder what else you would be deceptive about. Uninstall for me

Under the recommendation. feeling good! The Chinese and Chinese interface is easy to understand, can see the market in time, and is convenient for trading operations. Tiger has been doing these things. I think this brokerage is still very reliable.

I love how everything is intergrated in this app. From news, to real-time market data which means I don’t need to switch between multiple apps or have so many tabs open on my computer when trading. The promotions are really nice but they’re more the icing on an already tasty cake.

Total scam. Says that you get a free stock for just downloading the app. You actually only get it once you refer someone, then the link constantly says Internal Server Error so you can't redeem your credit. Completely worthless.

I started trading on Robinhood, but it was annoying that I had to switch between apps just to have a usable chart. I heard about tradeup and i really think its a step up from RH. Tradeup has customizable charts, which means I dont have to switch between apps anymore

I’ve got an IRA setup, but wanted to have some fun with the market (and make money ofc). I found out about tradeup and tested it out. So far it’s been reliable and straightforward to use. I really like the sign up offers too. I wish there was an iPad app but i’ve gotten the website to work on my iPad. Im definitely using this as my daily trading app.

Slow operation, poor customer service. There is not even in app customer support. The help instructions do not match the app. Interface looks bad. Hard to find desired tools. Definitely will not recommend.

Hong Kong trading is a very interesting addition. In order to access this, you need to have a live account, exchange your USD to to HKD in the app, and then use that for buying and selling in HK. I like the additional selection especially with some of the listing that are exclusive to HK or not available in the US.

An application software for stock trading, account opening is simple, powerful, and generally very practical. There are market recommendations, remind me all the time, it is convenient to use. Five-star praise, like one! ! !

Watchlist groups are great! I like to keep an eye on different sets of listings depending on how they perform and watchlist groups are such a valuable addition to tradeup. I don’t when they added but I am so glad its there! 5 stars!

Thank you so much for the update now i can see numbers too. This is by far the best place to trade. I"ve had robinhood and webull and i want you to know tradeup is by far the best. Please combine the security app into with the trading app. I'm not to up in technology and cant figure out how it works now, but we all should be using two part authenication just to be safe. Thanks again for making the best trading app ever.

I’ve been using this app for a month or so, and it’s been getting better and better. TradeUP had a bit of a quiet launch and more features and performance improvements have been added since then. I think there should be community or social features and we should be allowed to customize the news feed. Looking forward to what comes next!

Great app for the beginning investor, better than Robin Hood. Easy to navigate and user friendly. Customer service is on point, quick and friendly. Detailed info on each stock, up to date stock related news. Premarket and Post Market limit orders. I also agree with thier option trading and margin restrictions. Perfect and safe way to learn how to invest without the pressure of FOMO option trading.

I am very impressed with this app! It’s very robust in terms of features and the support for options and HK trading really makes this my go to app. Try it out with paper trading before you open an account to see if it fits for you.

Good software, all functions are clear at a glance. After downloading, you can grasp the stock information at any time. You can not only see the information of individual stocks but also the interpretation of the big guys.

This is obviously an up and coming excellent brokerage! Sure there's the 3 day holding period thing between orders and transactions but that's ovcourse why there's no fees. The referral program is nice too. I'm going to personally be making some investments with TradeUP for the long term! Thanks

This app is great! It got me into investing and its straightforward to use. I learned so much about the market through this and have been able to grow my portfolio after much trial and error.

The app is really good so far. I tried out the desktop version and it’s really good too. I usually trade on my phone though but I really would like to use my iPad. So pls add iPad support. Thank you

A very useful stock trading software. I have used it for more than a year. I can see that Tiger's engineers are working hard to improve the product. New versions are often released, which is getting better and better.
