Trading 212 Forex & Stocks

First the app and the web interface: It's probably one of the best programmed trading/investment apps I've seen so far. You can see that from the information that they manage to integrate seamlessly and the kind of interface that they have. Second, as a trading platform, i would say it's pretty good. I like that you can buy fractional shares without transaction fees, and they face a pretty broad selection, particularly of stocks. Hopefully, some day, also of ETFs. Plus there's insurance.

Downgraded rating to 1 star, from 5! The stock data is completely out of date, sometimes as bad as several months out of date, so totally unreliable. App crashes on opening, you have to close the app and start again, sometimes log in again, which is frustrating. I referred people 2 years ago, they are still waiting to be accepted on to the platform after that long, with no updates. Very unprofessional.

I have been using the app for more than 2 years now. It used to work smoothly but starting yesterday, it won't load properly. It's just stuck on the initial splash page. Can somebody from Trading212 help pls. Thanks. EDIT: The earlier issue was fixed. Today is different issue, it keeps saying the version I have is no longer suported. When I click 'update' I get redirected on here, however Google Play shows I already have the latest version. Bizarre. And putting 2 stars now for poor UX.

Seems a good app so far. I have now actually successfully drawn some money out. It worked in a rather strange way with a number of separate transactions but I did get the money so that's what counts. For a few weeks now, the app has been very hard to start (on an ancient Samsung S3 tablet). I click the Home Screen icon and sometimes get nothing three or four times before the app actually gets going.

T212 used to be brilliant but charts aren't updating as someone said sometimes for weeks. I've lost so much money as their price has been nowhere near the current market price / showing going up when it's already gone down and the % gain / loss is way off. Seems to get slower to update/ less accurate daily

Easy to use interface, good range if stocks. Needs more order types such as market if touched or the ability to set a limit sell for both a high price or a low price as currently you can set a trailing stop limit but then have watch in case the stock reaches your sell point (the app reserves the stock for the one order so you cant put both).

22nd of March: can no longer use the app, saying the version is no longer supported, and am update button is displayed. When pushed, I am sent to Google Play store where no new version is available. I'm on latest. When starting the app, my entire phone freezes becoming unusable. It started happening a few weeks ago. If I lock and unlock the screen, I am able to use my phone again

Been using for years. So professional and good. Even got an practice account on the real market. Where you can learn your trading. Then if want to, switch to real. It is the best trading app out here. Which also has a desktop version. Update 11/05/2022 I've been trading real money since 2021. Made money. Love how it tells me the price, any costs, etc. And monthly statements. Made some money. Reinvested, again.

App is mostly fine. New features are very slow to arrive, and some obvious room for improvement. Eg. Why can't I click on holdings within a pie and got to that stock/ETF directly? Biggest problem is the app is still not updated to work properly with the android 11 app switcher - launch takes 15-20 seconds unless you launch then switch out and back in to the (unresponsive) app. Android 11 is around a year old now, 12 is due soon. Will this ever be fixed? Edit: March 2022: Still broken.

Pointless as you can't switch to use real money and that's after 9 months of requesting!!! After spending some time getting comfortable with the app, I wanted to switch to use real money. I have made multiple requests in the app over the last nine months and all I get is the same response, that I'm being added to a queue. Don't waste your time with this app as you will never be allowed to use the app with real money...in a word pointless and you're better off looking at other platforms.

App doesn't work for Americans. My account is stuck in "verifying documents", but all of my Dutch friends were automatically verified in minutes. Ironically, none of them own a business, and my visa literally allows me to conduct business between the USA and the NL. Doesn't make sense.

Only issue i see so far is profit/loss counting time delay, will be nice to see real time profit/loss change. Now its takes between 10-15 seconds, even then stock fells or rises, my p/l is not changing together with chart. Hopefully it be fixed in upcomming updates :)

I enjoy using the app for the most part. It would be great if you were given a projection of dividend income based on the contents of your portfolio. Update: please can we be given the ability to search for products by ticket symbol without having to enable ticker view ONLY? Update: strange thing with pie rebalancing where the Sell occurs, but not the Buy? Even though market is still open. I've had to "force" rebalancing by withdrawing funds from the pie and reinvesting which is frustrating

Awesome if you can actually get an account. For unknown reason they don't accept new accounts. Login screen is hanging when starting the app. Requires to close the app completely and restart it. Not a caching issue.

Good UI. I used to have to contact support to make my wire transfers appear in my T212 account every time but this has since been ratified. I liked it better when there was no 0.7% fee to deposit via debit card because its instantaneous but I'll live with it.

Market prices offered are not what you will receive. This app is completely unreliable to trade on with any confidence whatsoever. I received a sell offer for an ETC of a price of $19.78, accepted this and sold. Only afterwards I was told the sell price was $19.48?? I do not go into the supermarket and buy something for one price, only to realise my card has been charged a completely different price after buying. Complaints team have ignored my complaint and ombudsman complaint launched.

Since starting Trading 212 back in SEP 2020, following a request for an update while in a taxi, which failed to complete crashing my App, since then it's nonstop leading us along with "Due to unprecedented demand..." statement followed by "join the waiting list" asking for an email, after being forced to uninstall an App that's unworkable, given the outstanding competition, ongoing mismanagement of how long is a piece of string? Really, what really? Most definitely check out other Apps! 🙄

Used to be working fine but after the last few updates the app is much heavier and freezes the phone when I start it. I wrote a review before "now disappeared!" they replied that I have to clear the phone cache. I removed the app, cleared the cache, reinstalled and still the same! Maybe I will move to something else if not resolved soon.

Perfectly fine until a recent update. It just freezes each time I open it - I mean every single time. It just hangs, I force close, then maybe the second or third time the app will open and function perfectly until I switch to a different app. It's back to freezing when I try to open it. 👎🏻

The app has trouble opening and needs to be closed and reopened before being usable. My previous previous problem with using the app was resolved with another update, unfortunately uninstalling and reinstalling the app or clearing the Google plays cache didn't resolve the issue, but the reply to my complaint was appreciated.

Best investing app I've used. No adds in app, easy to use, good feel to it and easy to navigate. It has good response times and alerts. Good forum on app and links well with web version, although some functionaliy is only avay on other or other at the moment. Good customer support team too. I'd recommend it.

Overall I think the app is good it's got some good features and the UI is nice. I have had some problems with it however. The app randomly signs me out. This happens maybe once every 1 or 2 months. I also sent in my bank statement and they got the post code wrong. However I contacted support and fixed it it minuts.

The app is good but after the update I got loged out of my account. I can't remember the password and every time I try to reset it I get a link to my email but when I click on it, it just brings me back to the app without giving me the option to change my password.

It's very intuitive and easy to use. I like using the pie feature the most. However, it would be great to have a trailing stop loss option with percentage. Maybe that will be in your scope in the future.

I have used the app for some time now and so far I have not had many issues, I hold a few stocks but have only sold one which went smoothly, sometimes when buying new stock there can be a delay which affect the price I thought I would buy at but overall I cannot complain about the service so far.
