Trail Boss BMX

I love this game so much, the controls are not to hard to get used to and it runs buttery smooth on my phone. One complaint though, I've always been a perfectionist type of guy, so I try to finish all of the challenges but, in some challenges I dont know what to do, i get stuck especially since i haven't learned anything about bmx. A small tutorial of combo tricks would be helpful.

I like all the BMX games they have produced, this is the next level and once you get use to the controls is great fun. The controls add to the difficulty to the game. Some paths tho after jumps are slightly to narrow. But that's me trying to find a bad point. I hope you can change riders at a later stage or even branded bikes.

I love the game as I've loved all the previous pumped bmx games, but this one is much more immersive. The reasons I didn't give 5 star is the lack of T3 tricks, and the mechanics of spinning. Instead of holding to stop spinning there should be an option to just tap the screen to stop. Holding to stop makes it hard to link tricks and frequently doesn't work and the rider just still spinning. Another feature a miss a lot is to be able to record the section and be able to watch it by other angles.

It is a great game, fun to play and great graphics. Some of the interface is a little wonky, like when it zooms in when you corner and you can't see ahead of you. I think a tilt to turn would be better than the thumb controls. All thinks considered, it's really great improvement from their previous games.

Great game! I have loved the entire "pumped bmx" series and this is clearly the evolution of those games. I also feel like this has the most replayability of any of the pumped games. The only reason its not 5/5 for me is that the controls are just not as intuitive as the previous games. The main mechanic i miss is the pumping feature. Its very odd to not touch the screen at all inbetween jumps. I am sure i will get used to the game and the conteols will become automatic.

There isn't words to describe how well put together trail boss is. With every release of the pumped series the games, graphics and controls only got better and better. And now this version takes it to whole new caliber of radness. For everyone whinging about the controls.Stop whinging. The controls are perfect and obviously very thought out. This is not pumped. Its trail boss. I've just unlocked the last package of levels and I am blown away at the flow and what seems like infinite line choices

Good game, controls are a little weird to get used to at first along with the follow camera angle. But like I said, you do get used to it. It took me several months of just playing the odd 10 minutes here and there to complete all of the challenges which offered a fair amount of entertainment for the price. I'd recommend the game to anyone that likes a bit of dirt jumping with the added fun of being able to do the mental Tony hawk Pro skater style tricks and combos.

Game is great overall, some landings you fall after a trick has been completed. The carvings around corners are pretty smooth. Controls are same yet different as pumped bmx 3, more challenging to do flips and spins at the same time. No manuals, nose wheelies or 180s which is a bummer. Definitely an interesting take on the view point, it's challenging yet rewarding. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase.

Game is brilliant, trails are fun to ride but the one thing that's really annoying is the spin controlls, that's the biggest thing that is failing. the amount of crashes I've had because of it is not good need to change it asap! Apart from that everything else is well done.

All I can say is that each time a new pumped game came out I didn't put them down until I had completed every challenge. That did not happen with this iteration of the game. I can't quite put my finger on it but I think loosing the pump mechanic has a lot to do with it. Pumping is such a huge part of style in bmx and it really helped link the jumps together in the previous games. It also added a certain level of immersion and satisfaction to the riding that this game lacks.

Great gameplay and expansion on the Pumped BMX formula. The first person view makes the tricks more immersive and the courses are more varied and fun to ride when you have to turn to finish them. The controls are smooth and satisfying. I would definitely recommend buying this game if you enjoyed the previous versions or similar skate games.

I was very excited to hear about a new release in the Pumped series, with a third person view and the new controls I'm excited to spend some time completing it. A great unique indie game with a developer that really cares about his users, if you're into BMX I highly recommend this or if you're looking for a challenging game with interesting concepts then look no further. The updated controls bring a new level of difficuly for hardened Pumped players and a brand new immersive experience.

Sickest game! Super fiddly to get used to after playing the pumped games but you get there for sure and the challenges are so difficult but nowhere near impossible, keeps you coming back for more! Amazing game cant put it down! (A lot of negative reviews are about the controls, ignore them and stick at it you'll get used to it)

Please change the controls. Make the controls like the pumped bmx series please. It is really messing me up while playing. Use a flick of the phone control to 360 or flip. And use the right side as steering and the left side as tricks. And add visual buttons. I cant tell what I'm doing half the time. I just flick my fingers. Other than that it's a dope game. But some improvements need to be made please

I played all 3 of the prior Pumped BMX games and loved them. I watched the progress of this one being made and waited anxiously for it to come out. Pros: good graphics and physics and interface. Cons: buttons to control rider are difficult, wish there was a tilt phone option for steering. Also wish there was a brake option because going what looks like 40 mph around a skinny trail line without wrecking is hard. Please slow the rider down big time in a update!!!!

This is the best thing to happen to BMX since Mat Hoffman. There's been a lack of representation of BMX, or biking of any sort for that matter, in video games since No Fear Downhill Mountain Biking on the PS1 (not including pumped bmx) and this game scratches that itch! Feels so much like real trail riding, feels super flowy, the transfers feel really pro, and the controls are easy to pick up, but difficult to master. I can see me getting months of fun out of this!

Game looks cool but man the controls are a damn nightmare. Using the touch to go each directions then using them to do tricks flips and what not is way to much. Should be just leaning the phone to make the rider turn. Or just have him turn on his own. I lost interest after 10 min. Bummer I loved the other games.

So fun and a huge improvement from the Pumped series, controls are intuitive and easy to learn from coming from pumped. Only issue is the game seems to run a little slow on my huawei p-smart, however by switching to ultra power saver the game runs perfectly. Hopefully some updates down the line will optimise this already fantastic game so I won't need to do this. Definitely buy this game, you won't be disappointed!

Ultimate bmx at your fingertips. Having ridden for years its nice to be able to play a game thats intuitive and natural in its movements. I love the transfers and being able to alley-oop. Visually its great with easy to see line choice and simple yet functional controls. Dont hesitate download and play it now.

As a bmxer i really appreciate this game thanx!!! Nice game! really love that i dont have to turn my phone to control the character but,..... ........ ---1: Would like to have a joystick for trick accuracy ---2: would be really cool if you could swipe from one trick into another (to link different tricks into each other) ---3: Spinning is not realistic for a 360 backflip you have to first swipe down and then afterwards you gotta swip left or right. i think swiping down back or down forward should let you spin back and sideways in one motion (thats how you would do it in real life and looks way better) ---4: Character creation ---5: skatepark, pegs and grinding?

Controls are still hard to get a handle of. Turning the corners is still tricky after just landing tricks. Sometimes the character stalls in the air too linking tricks. All in all I like it. Wish you could choose a real rider and customize him or her too.

Love the game but really wish there was a character customization or character selection. Also would be really cool if you could put custom parts on your bike. I really like this camera angle compared to last games makes you feel like your in it it's very fun and doesn't get too old like the previous games. If you added these things it would be a 5 star all the way around

My frame rate runs crazy low so the game only plays half speed. I've contacted Noodlecake to try and have graphics options added for slower devices with only an automated reply at this stage. Love the game... but review remains as this until i can play it properly 🙁 Haven't had this issue with any other mobile game to date on this phone...
