Horrible app. Shows pts on a map, w/numbers, but can't access run name, nor see what the runs entail. Large list of runs, but you can't check to find out where located on the map (even w/run map pts!) nor how difficult. Should be able to ID a run, see pt on on map, see name, how hard, and everything else. No way to look at a run and go back to prev. map. Reverts to launch screen so you have to start again. Even w/GPS, map search shows runs in OTHER states! W/out recoding, dont waste your time.
Cant figure out how to just search area when in a new state. Not user friendly, click on trail, sometimes the trail description sometimes not, not able to drop a pin and do a custom trail. If this is all possible, well it is not intuitive...
Great app! Saved my hide a few times running trails and has been great for discovering new trails or trails when I travel. I wish it were easier to add trails and it does draw on the battery hard. Use sparingly if battery life is a concern.
The idea of this app is great. Would love a trail running guide with helpful information about trails that are recommended for trail running rather than hiking or backpacking. It seems like many of these descriptions are just lifted from hiking resources (like WTA) or people post from backpacking trips. Good hiking trails don't always = great trail running locales. Sometimes the "Trail Running Notes" even say "not good for trail runners". Then why is it on TRAIL RUN project?
Love the content in the app, super helpful for discovering trails to run. As a free app it's plenty well featured however things like offline high res maps and flexible route planning would make this six stars.
Far and away the most useful app for hiking and mountaineering I have ever come across. There is a reason that race directors for ultramarathons provide TrailRunProject links on their website...it's everything you need.
Clear and easy to use interface. Not exactly comprehensive set of trails but certainly good enough.
Easy use. Love and use the elevation profiles when choosing training routes. Wish you had more zoom capabilities when you are on route but without signal
Great to find local running trails but LET ME DOWNLOAD THE GPX. I basically use this app to find a trail. And then I go to the website to download the gpx so I can upload to my watch or whatever. Its incredibly dumb you cant download through the app.
Pixel XL2 works fine, love how you can download and use offline. Recently went from California to Utah, up to Montana, then back to California through Washington and Oregon. Found places to run all along the way.
It ia smooth and loads well. Like the UI and layout. Highly recommend it.
Best finding in 2020. It shows all the trails around me, which is really helpful since I just move to a new city.
Terrible!..confusing app..not well designed!...not user friendly at all. It needs to be completely re-done from "cero".
Love the app. It doesn't have all the trails but pretty good coverage.
Love this app. Use it whenever I travel. Love the ability to add trails as well.
Love the app. it's become my go-to for planning hikes/runs in new areas when traveling.
Awesome Trail App. Shows you right where you are on the trail. Easy to use
I use this app to plan every weekend run/hike. It is so helpful and easy to use!
Very little UK data. One trail in the whole of the Southern Brecon Beacons.
My favorite app to find trails and plan my next trailrunning adventure.
I like better than AllTrails app. This is more suited to get the details on what it's like out there.
Great resource to find trail runs while traveling.
The app lacks some necessary features still, but it is great already
Great way to find new and fun trails
This is a great tool to find new trails or explore areas quickly when on vacation. I love the color coded trails and ease of quickly looking at distance, difficulty and elevation. I wish I could search an area without having to find it on the map, also I wish that paved trails were colored differently. I like that they are on there but if I want to trail run it is hard to find if they are paved easily.
