Train Driver - Train Simulator
Our apologies that we've not updated the game in so long. We have been busy with other projects to earn our bread. But we're back and we're bringing you a new update to Train Driver that we hope you guys like!
Issues with sounds stopping on some 4.3 systems are caused by a bug in the Android system:http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/08/14/bug-watch-android-4-3-automatic-looping-of-sounds-with-soundpool-is-broken-may-cause-some-games-and-apps-to-be-eerily-quiet/It will be fixed in next system update.For now, here are things you can do if you are affected:Use Android version 4.2.2 for now.Upgrade to latest custom 4.3 (quite complicated).Wait for google to release official update (should be soon, you can check for it in Settings->About device->System update menu)

Think driving a train is too easy and boring? We dare you to try it with Train Driver simulator!
Wait for the departure signal, close the doors and off you go. Just pay attention to the signs. And don't worry, if you know nothing about driving a train, our tutorial will guide you via an introductory ride. After this ride, the tracks are randomly generated, so you get a different ride every time you play.
In the future, we aim to improve and optimize graphics, and also introduce localized routes with country-specific signals, tracks and trains (with strong emphasis on realism), including High Speed Rail. For now, we have the Polish signals and default train is based on clunky old Polish EN57 EMU.
Train Driver is still a work in progress, but we figured it's already fun to play, so we might as well release it now and get some feedback from you. Feel free to visit us at http://mobiletraindriver.blogspot.co.nz and leave comments or suggestions, how we can improve it.

Simulator was tested on Asus Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S2 (works nice and smooth) and HTC Wildfire (a bit choppy, but still perfectly playable). If you encounter any problems on your device, please let us know via our webpage, or email us, so we can resolve it as fast as possible.
If Train Driver crashes, please send a crash report, stating what it does, along with what actual device you are using. Often, we need to know what the device is, so we can fix it. Google is supposed to tell us this information, but they don't... It's always useful to hear what's going on at your end, and along with the info they do give us we can fix the problem in the next update.

The game is great but there is two things that I do not like, I don't like that I am not warned when there is a little train station approaching, another thing is that the train has no bail Bell. If you were to add in just a sign or something for small stations and a bell to the train I would give the game of full five stars.
I love all of your games and this is just another one of the best keep up the good work guys.
But can u put more building in city or add different camera (cab camera or something)

A big train depot with many working switches and crossings. Its a lot to ask for but then this is the best train simulation game in the android market. And it could only get better.
I'm a retired subway motorman. This is the best smart phone/tablet train simulator on android market. (Galaxy Note 2, Tab 4)
Very nice! Would love different camera views and more varied scenery but for some train driving fun - unbeatable!
I really appreciate a huge job you've did. Realistic train behavior. Please add some different views, as cabin and outside view . Also reverse can help. Thank you for beautiful, different scenarios. Besides, it's good. Kudos. Bravo! Keep ahead!!!
Good game even tho should add signals and turn off points would be alot better

It's a good idea to have a game like this, but I think I have exited,but...it says"Skiped a staition! -100pts.":-(. I do agree that it's hard to drive the train.

A basic train sim......graphics are ok, no glitches, runs smooth..would love to see this game developed into something great, it has potential........overall it's worth the $1.99

As a girl ive always wanted to see how the train driving will be n iam glad u came out with this truely amazing however my brake don't seems to work n too lagging... thus I keep missing passengers and off the limit :( overall still amazing
Needs more things to do maybe freight train missons. Some dark tunnels more computer trains so at points in the game you have to wait for other trains to leave stations before you can go to station maybe a terminal / a loading station for freight were we can use a fork lift to load freight on trains. Just a few ideas for next update. Other then that its perfect.
The Apple iOS has a far superior version which sets the bar for Train simulation style games. I've recently made the switch to Android and been looking for anything to compare to the iOS Train Drive ATS. This game is styled much the same but isn't as in depth as expected. Sure Train Drive ATS was more sophisticated, yet this game seems to leave out the complications and delivers soild playability anyone can enjoy. Problems come with any game but the most notable is sound levels. The horn is ridiculous lol
Yea it's good could do with a better horn sound but appart from that I realy like it v adictive
Just downloaded and its not bad but could you add some different camera angles, add different trains, add free driving mode without penalty's, and better scenarios. Other than that not bad game.
During Tutorial, instructions appear and dissapear before one can read them; when approaching speed restriction, can't see mention of requisite speed. Could do with pleasanter horn sound.
Pretty neat little sim, gameplay quite challenging....i cannot get the train to stop without incurring a harsh brake penalty and ive been playing forever....could b my phone but I have a feeling I have a little way to go before I drive a real train! Good work devs! *love the updates, this is still one of my favourite games! thanks guys!!
