Train your Brain - Memory Games

Good, but has flaws and am not convinced it's worth purchasing with these glitches. The Pairs of Cards game will not give you 100 out of 100 after the first level, no matter that you are quick to respond and perfect in doing so. Very frustrating. I can never get past 98. Also, the Daily Challenge froze up after a week or so of using it, which was a shame as I was enjoying it. I contacted the developer with these problems, but got no reply. When you purchase an app, you expect it to work right.

Having memory issues due to depression. First impression: the colors are bright enough to keep my attention, and the art is simple enough so my brain doesn't get confused. Now that I've played it a little, I'm unsure if it has actually improved my memory, but I'm glad that it has somewhat real-world-applicable games- faces and shopping lists, etc.

On my phone the graphics are microscopic. Often hard to tell them apart and in the shopping game I still don't know what several of the items are supposed to be. The daily challenge doesn't adjust to my ability just keeps increasing difficulty resulting in lower and lower scores. The scores in the pairs game seems to only be based on speed, not accuracy.

The games are very good. The downside is being unable to adjust the difficulty of the daily challenge's games. When someone consistently fails one type of game because it is too difficult (example: 8 girls names or 8 different pizza ingredients), the game should automatically drop the difficulty by a notch. And don't start with "oh, but that difficulty should challenge you, you passed the previous", because I have NOT. The game jumped to the highest. I wish this could be fixed.

Update: Find The New Game no longer works. When it's time to "Tap" on the New, no pictures load so it's impossible to finish the Daily Puzzle! They are hard enough! Used to be fun & often challenging. Now impossible. The ads are super annoying as they constantly interrupt your progress. I was considering purchasing to remove the ads. However there's also a complaint that the ads return after an update. If you fix that issue, I will maybe buy some of your games.

I don't mind ads since I play for free. However, sometimes you spend 3 or 4 times the amount of time looking at ads as you spend playing. Also some of the games don't function well. While the games that work well are quite fun and challenging, I'll likely delete the app because I think the time I spend waiting for ads and apps negates any benefit I might gain from the bits I enjoy.

Large variety of memory games, simple but effective presentations and does help with short term memory! Time given to memorise is a bit too short on later levels, but I can just dial back the difficulty level. Occasional ads but all skipable, now that's what I call a developer with users in mind! Well pleased with the app and will sure to keep it on my phone for a very long time.

Good, no nonsense, high difficulty. One maybe problem is the pair matching game. Can anybody really get a good score on the high levels (lvl 20+) of those? I practice that on another app and can do 9x6 cards without errors, but this app doesn't give you enough time to spot all the pairs at the start much less memorize them. If anyone actually can get a good score on that I withdraw my objection.

I enjoy this game and it is helping. One minor issue: when an ad loads during gameplay it causes lag which can have negative consequences to the gameplay. The ads are a massive annoyance. Also, might want to improve illustrations on the shopping list game because items don't really look like the illustrations mean them to.

Fun game, but tends to lag and not move to the next level. On the daily challenge, sometimes it stalls and won't move to the next game. I have to hit the game's "home" button a few times to get off the frozen screen, then it restarts the challenge as if I never played at all.

I really like this and I think it will be quite useful in keeping my memory although the shopping list game means nothing to me being British and not knowing half the objects and what they're supposed to look like. I think if the makers were more mindful of where people come from and adjust games accordingly, I would perhaps be more likely to actually use it.

These are great games, but the ads are very frequent and long - almost always 30sec. They are so intrusive that it feels like they are extorting the cost of getting them to go away. This just makes me a little angry and perverse. I would rather, I think, be charged up front. I'll probably eventually pay them the bridge toll because I enjoy the content.

I like this game! It's a good substitute for lumosity which I can't afford on a fixed income after a closed head injury and medical issue! It challenges me and gives me, what I call push- headaches. They happen when I push my brain to think hard to remember what I've forgotten. This is how I know that my brain is being thoroughly challenged. Following, I have slow, but complete recall! It's my brain's way of pushing past a hard work-out just like in a physical gym! Love it!!

Honestly this would be much better if it weren't for some issues. First, daily challenge "Find New" doesn't work, which has already been mentioned. And second, if you mess up even one person on "Faces & Names" your score drops to about 50% even if you have 8 people to match. Which is incredibly ridiculous. Suggestion, if you mess up one daily challenge game, you should be allowed to repeat that game without having to repeat the others until you've improved your score.

Good game for memory training . But it could be better by saving history of scores and represent them in a graph for each level not only for daily training , the diagram can show our memory improvement.

Nice! Easy to understand, smooth play, pleasant graphics—and I can feel my memory improve as I go! Two requests: (1.) In the card-matching game, it's obvious the last two cards match—so how about just turning them over, rather than making us keep (brainlessly) doing it? (2.) The installed icon just says "Memory Games", but it's listed here as "Train Your Brain – Memory Games", so I had to search through all my installed apps to find it here again. How about being more consistent?

I just downloaded the game. It was kinda laggy at first, making the timed games difficult. But after restarting it, it seems to be running smoothly. So far I like it. I have no complaints. Not to many ads and when there is an ad, it isn't super long.

Reason I don't play this much is it's impossible to mute. The option is in the menu, but has little to no real effect, because adverts are not muted and loud. Very annoying. Also no in app escape/exit.

This game has errors, often gets stuck and closes suddenly while playing. Needs fixing! Levels 29 and 30 of the find new don't work. Nor does some of the colour wheel. I'm uninstalling!

I really love this app. The only major issue that I have are the amount of ads. But, I do understand that the ads are pretty important to the developer but, its pretty irritating to receive an ad every two minutes. Otherwise, great app.

I always loved this app, but recently when playing the daily challenge....Find the New party of the challenge game doesn't open after giving the memory part, you're trying to do this daily challenge and"Tap the new" never opens... It's very frustrating. This is terrible I've reinstalled many times and every day the Tap the New didn't open in the middle of the Daily Challenge!

Great games. Very challenging. Not sure if it's beneficial in helping fight memory loss long term but I'm sure it doesn't hurt. A LOT of ads. However, it is free, so it seems trite to b*tch about that.

"Find the new" freezes up. After showing first set of images the second set of images doesn't show the screen just says blue. It happens on daily quiz and after reaching level 20. However I can see how this game could be very beneficial in improving memory otherwise.

The sound when the app starts is horrible, very unpleasant and not at all welcoming. Some of the memory games are fabulous others not so. Not too sure about the food pictures some are hard to disguise. Generally a good way to help build up your memory. Thank you.

I was very successful at the first few levels of many of these Tell me wow games but the scores are random and inaccurate. I can do pairs of cards accurately within 3-5 seconds every time but I am never given a 100% score.Also, moving from one game to another requires too many steps and it freezes up when I want exit. You can do better!

I signed on to this account last night around 10 the computer game froze On that screen and no matter what I did it would not close so that I could go back to the other game and I couldn't use it At all I couldn't get back in to cancel and I don't want this this subscription I'm unable to get back in to cancel my subscription and and I can't find a 1 800 number for them so my experience with this service was not a good one

The game is absolutely great. the most one thing that i love is that your mind starts practicing from the beginning step by step and this is the point of game.it is too hard to get 100% in cards. So it make it more challenging to restart the level and by the time you will be able to complete other hard games like the cooking things recettes of food and the list game...etc The game is addictive best game so far hope you add more games.
