This game has everything I hate with regard to IAP and Android's current "fleece the public" models (overpriced packages with no guarantee of needed cards, gems, purchase-only content, speed-ups, etc.), but I cannot get enough if it! I have purchased some stuff, but only because I felt I owed the developer some type of compensation. Get it, buy the base package (or two), then never spend another dime if you want. If you love turn-based strategy, you won't be disappointed.

Various glitches make this otherwise neat game hard to play. For example, twice in two weeks I've lost my account after playing for over a hundred hours over the past year and a half. Great concepts, maybe someone, someday, will make a similar glitch-free game in a non-paywall format.

I was playing 2 years ago and stop because extra decks were locked. I came back thinking it got real free to play and paid premium account to support and see. I don't have interest in getting things paying, I paid to support. And now I see i get 10 ads pop ups per hour during events, I must keep watching a mad quantity of ads for gems to access to countent and I am stuck doing so. I complain moderators insisted 5 times I should just buy. 100 ads per character, 40-65 pee event, ...

Decent slay the spire clone with chibi graphic style that's pretty bland tbh. Good play though except it's bugged on pixel 3xl they haven't made it notch friendly so I can't see health or gold. And poison affects end of turn rather than before which is awful. Takes a few fall runs before you start getting perm buffs to help you succeed. Also need a skip card reward option.

Nice tactical game play, challenging but winnable, plenty of content and progress for free, at least so far. Very good. At first. After awhile you have to grind the same few missions dozens of times before you can progress just a little further. Or, of course, spend a bunch of money. A real shame, as it was one of the best mobile tactics games I've played until then.

Traitors Empire provides a nice mix of turn based tactical combat and deck building. The game runs smoothly, the controls are nice and the difficulty scales well. I don't feel one would not be able to advance without spending money, but I can see how a small investment can give you cool benefits like extra rewards and room for more play formations with different strategies. It's also nice that choices you make throughout the campaign affect future interactions. We need more games like that one!

This game was really cool in the beginning, but has become way too repetitive and time consuming for a mobile game. It's like a single player game that was changed to multiplayer last minute with some features thrown in. It has an unfinished feel and the updates during my time olaying have been lacking. I find myself wanting to play and then feeling overwhelmed with the amount of farming I need to do in order to progress and end up closing the game to find something else to do with my time.

I was very excited as I began playing this game; especially the layout and dialogue. I found issues however with being thrown into such a crowded application. RPG, turn based combat, great. But then so many cards, crafting, incomplete levels to return to with no guidance why - it became quite a muddle. I also found that my progress got stuck around 17-20% and I ended up playing many levels again for XP, and soon I lost interest in progressing and figuring out the deeper elements, so I quit.

I'm really enjoying this game so far! The story is interesting, but doesn't weigh down gameplay. I'm not very far as of yet, so I'm not sure how much of an impact my choices make, but it's pretty cool being able to decide the fate of an NPC who betrayed you. And the combat is fun and strategic (be warned, the enemies will take down your mage if you give them the chance.) The interface is very intuitive, and I'm not seeing any paywalls. My only change would be more equipment slots. Great game!

Very well done game. The combat gameplay is a lot of fun. I've been looking for a good turn based tile game and so many mobile games fail to make them good. I'm not usually a fan of card based tactics but this game executes on that front with some skill. It allows for an enhanced reward system as well. The story is well written also, not super original but orchestrated with a cast of very likeable characters and strong dialogue. I had no issue paying the $3.49 for the premium version. Good job!

The single player game is great. Fun gameplay mechanic, interesting story, and good curve. The big cons are that the game syncs with its servers after every single move, which can lead to major slow downs, and that it can take forever for enemy moves to go through their animations. The multiplayer raids were fun at first but quickly become pay to win as you'll stand no chance against players with purchased gear.

Pretty fun little tactical rpg. Not aggressive about ads, but clearing the campaign will probably get quite hard later on without spending some money. You can always revisit areas though and just grind it out. 4 stars mainly because there even is an option to "buy power" (would be better if it was simply pay (once) to play) and because at the time of this review the game has a bug with some dialogue options. Nothing major though.

Great game. Unity engine makes for pleasant graphics. I like the card based combat, really adds randomness that requires thinking out each move. Leveling is a bit grindish, but it is not too bad. The content is fairly small, but you can replay each area for rewards and EXP. Does not feel very P2W. Buying stuff probably speeds your progress, but you can still have fun playing for free. It has clans and an online community.

Excellent tactical play, engaging graphics, interesting deck building dynamics, decent roleplay scenes with meaningful choices. It's linear at the beginning but I've just started to see side quests at around level 4. This truly is a 5-star game. My only mild corrective criticism is that the soundtrack could be better and I've encountered one scene where the ui makes it difficult to see one character's dialogue. Download this!

Great game. Card strategy and Battlefield tactics combined with side quests, raids and special events on the world map. Unlockable advanced characters and the ability to gear them up with custom combinations make for a constantly fun and engaging experience! Can be played in small 10-15 minute doses or sink into the campaign for hours. Highly recommended!

This is a phenomenal game, with only one real drawback, but it cost 2 stars. While playing at home on stable wifi that works fine for EVERYTHING else, the game will stop me mid-fight to "resync", often freezing and forcing me to restart the entire app. It saves all progress, but it's hella annoying, and made me frustrated enough to uninstall.

This is a really super game and feels to me like it has the right balance of depth and ease of use. I'd give it five stars except for the fact that the microtransactions are really quite pricey and where I am now, just over 3/4 way through the story and at level 13, it's very quickly become super grindy, which is causing me to be a bit bored with it.

Great game so far. Its challenging but not impossible. You cant pay to win either. Theres a few iaps that certainly help but you do not need to spend any money unless you like the game and want to support the devs. I had one issue and I sent support a message and they responded in less than an hour to fix it. It kind of blew my mind they were that quick. Highly reccomend this game .

Traitors Empire is the strategic RPG you've been looking for; not only is the world-building deep with an engaging, character-driven story, but it also features immersive and expansive turn-based combat, and it's not pay-to-win. If you're searching for a challenging, tactical experience with an intriguing story to boot DEFINITELY give Traitors Empire a try!

Perfect blend of turn based strategy combat mixed in with deck building. Add in an Rpg storyline that is stunningly good for a game of this size and we are dealing with a Rare treat. Reminiscent of games like the Final Fantasy Tactics series, but with the added benefit of a robust, well balanced, diverse but not overwhelming card pool that bolsters your hero's in combat. Game has a fair, non complicated crafting system for cards/gear. Worth spending a few bucks to support the devs.

A robust and challenging card battler. Not pay-to-win, although there are real money transactions which can make your heros more powerful more quickly. I am fairly highly ranked, having only bought the basic paid account ($3 or $4 I can't recall). Campaign is interesting. Cards are diverse and have lots of synergies to explore. Definitely worth a try!

Nice visuals. Good to see a story and choices and not purely a combat tactics game. --- EDIT: Gave it another go after dev's tip about changing long press function. Enjoying it very much now! Especially like that you have to balance the deck as all characters draw from the same pool. Unique feature! Also like the humour in the dialogues.

Fun. Good little story. Tactics are important and enough variety to keep things interesting

This game is amazing. The storyline is the best I have ever seen in a game, the combat requires you to be tactical, there are no pay2play micro-transactions, no ads, the map and lore are huge, and the outside-combat game mechanics such as customization are good. I dont often spend money on mobile games but I will definetly spend on this, just as a show of appreciation for this wonderful game and the player-friendly design choices of the developers.
