Very disfunctional app. I had the same problem 4 times in the past years. I try to book through the app and pay with ideal, but at the payment step the transaction fails. Then when trying to book through the wedsite its not possible as the booking somehow still exists in the system. Only after several hours you it's possible to book again but then, everytime the price has go up significantly.
Even though I like to fly with Transavia, the application does disappoint. Everytime when I needed to book quickly via the app, payments don't work or other buttons to proceed within the process of booking. If I have time to book, I'll use the browser. For quick booking (in emergency cases), I have zero problems with Vueling or even Ryanair.
After trying with 3 computers, 3 different explorers (edge, chrome and Firefox). And 4 cards + PayPal without luck. I could finally pay using this app (connected to the same network, so it was not a network issue). You should really check the web method. I remember a friend telling me he didn't flight in transavia because he couldn't pay.
I always fly with Transavia and I Iike it very much. Cabin crews are much more friendly and nice than other European low-cost companies.
check in failed, no confirmation nor qr code for my flight in a few hours, amazingly useless..
Poorly designed. It caches the data of an incomplete booking pending payment that failed because the link with Ideal didn't work and doesn't allow me to start a new booking. Obviously customer service unreachable
It is shame. This is the worst airline app I have ever used. I have to fly with this company quite often,due to family obligations. I book everything,and when it is time to pay I chose I-deal option and my Bank.And..it does not work! The system redirects the user to a blank webpage that asks to push "next" to continue. But ..there is no button there! The system crashes and all the input data are lost! Obviously, the developers did not care to test it all the way. But even with the simple fill-in-your card way, there are problems. Once they withheld twice the same amount,due to app malfunction. One can see how badly designed it is,by the appearance of the boarding pass.By the way, if you do not press "send to mail" your boarding pass is not saved in your account .Which means that if you do not have internet access out of your hotel,you have no boarding pass:-) It is a shame. Application is not user friendly. Everytime you open the application you need to log in again. Furthermore when you press 'download boarding ticket' it just shows it in the application and does not actually Download it on your device. A screenshot is a workaround. After trying the application for two days, I do not see any benefit to it. I would not recommend downloading it, just use their website, it works better then the app.
One of the worst airline apps ever. There are African apps that are easier to use. In order to fetch your boarding pass, you have to log-in constantly. Slow, not intuitive, chaotic and not user focused. Had to make screenshot of boarding pass in order to have it handy. Just when you thought nothing is worse than Ryanair or EasyJet, Airlines like Transavia proof that things can always be worse.
Terrible app which is just a buggy and slow version of the mobile website... You have to log in whenever you open it. Check-in for a flight is incredibly slow. I try 3 times to book, the app kept freezing before payment, I ended up buying my ticket through Google Flights in less than 2 minutes. This app is just plain trash, are you even testing it internally? None of the basic functionalities is working properly.
Worst airline app. Always need to login upon opening app. cannot open boarding passes with it. does not save boarding passes. buttons do not respond, such as 'bekijk boeking. every time I have to make a payment for a flight , I receive an error and then doesn't let me go again because it says the booking already exists. you would imagine they can spare the cost of a well developed app, but apparently no.
Very helpful. I receive email and text alerts on updated information, including when I can check in. A wonderful app. Merci beau coup!
I am travelling a fair bit and used quite a few companies. This is the worst check in experience I had to date. It is NOT an app, simply a poorly designed way to connect to their website. Boarding passes are not event conveniently stored on this, you are better off receiving a pdf by email. Simply farcical.
Barely works, bilut compared to all other airline apps I use... Shame on you Transavia! I use KLM, Delta, Vueling, United airlines and more. The fact that every time I need to relogin, eg the app doesn't remember my credentials - let alone doing fingerprint authentication - is terrible. But it doesn't stop there. Really a lost opportunity as I was en route today, needed an additional ticket and ended up booking Vueling...
After check-in I tried to reenter the app to see my booking and print my boarding pass but instead, I saw this message "Access To Website Blocked". Reinstalling the app did not solve the problem. Eventually I logged in to the site and there was no issue there at all. All in all bad app.
Spent more than an hour to find a flight. Not only could I not pay because the app cannot complete the simple task of redirecting to any of my iDeal apps, but I lost all progress since the payment cancellation simply froze the whole process. Than I tried to book the same flights out of the website but guess what? This booking apparently already exists somewhere in a void as I have not received any confirmation. Thanks for wasting my time.
Horrible app it jumps around and is not logical. I would give up and use another airline, in fact I have. The app blocks you if you hesitate for just a few seconds. It is frustrating and irritating, really bad.
It's always nice flying with Transavia, but their app is the worst of all Airline apps. It continuously asks to log in again, even when you try tokeep the app open at the airport for showing the E-ticket. Be sure to save your E-ticket outside of the app.
it is the most useless app of the sector for far. It even do not have a shortcut for the boarding passes. Come on transavia to do such an useless app it is better to not do it, the only thing you're getting having this app is losing even more the image of the company. Advise to everyone DON'T DOWNLOAD IT
As has already been said by everyone, this is a really bad app. you have to log in every time you want to check your booking and the boarding pass that can be downloaded is actually a picture, would just be better not having an app.
Always problems when you get to the step with the payment. This is the worst app for ticket booking. You have to check how easy, fast and without problems work the apps of Wizz air, Easyjet and Ryanair. Really shame for the Dutch company!
The app does not have any login to your account, so nothing is stored offline. Really annoying that in order to see your upcoming flight information (most important function for me), you get redirected to their webpage and need to login each single time
Very poor app. Although, I managed to check in, but downloading boarding card doesn't work. It shows it, but doesn't store offline (despite claiming so). Using webpage is far easier.
Utterly awful pointless "app". It's a pass-through to Web page. Cannot get boarding pass on your mobile. Hopeless waste of time. Those giving it 5 stars are either bots or need to reconsider their life choices.
App doesn't really add much more than the website. I'm missing some personalisation like login with your account to see your flights or saving your settings like frequent routes, etc Also it's nice to have native experience instead of webviews
Pointless. Have to log in every two seconds. Can't remember your bookings or save your boarding pass. Have to log in every single time you navigate to it with booking number.
its the most useless app of all airlines. each time need to log into the account. cannot open the boarding pass offline. gets your acts together and fix it.

Dear Transavia in the era of digitalisation this app is unacceptable. Please get rid of the program that is checking you for being a robot every second. It is the most frustrating experience ever. On top of that I had many other issues. At least customer service (phone) worked fast and the guys were super helpful.
