TranscribeIt - Convert Speech to Text
For those who also like to have their recorded speech data in written language, TranscribeIt offers a simple and powerful solution. The underlying technology is based on the sophisticated speech recognition solution from Google. TranscribeIt offers four alternatives to handle audio/voice/speech data:
1. Simply choose already existing files on your device
2. Use any dictation app and use the command: "share/send to/open with"
3. Use any file manager app and use the command: “share/send to/open with”
4. You can also use TranscribeIt to record and transcribe new audio files. Required is a stock-installed microphone app on the device.
The transcription of files under 15 seconds is completely free. This should give you the possibility to convince yourself of the high quality of the actual transcription. Additional transcriptions require quota to be purchased.

When I put in existing audio it would ask whether I need mo=e quota, clicking OK I. have message that says quota not available and we cannot retrieve the product. It's not working for me. Solve the problem.
Rip off app. Can't even transcribe 1 minute of audio without having to buy quotas of additional minutes. Totally useless, digital deception in my opinion
Does as described but ONLY 15 second's for free. If you have a larger file that needs translated then it'll literally cost you.
Mp3 audio... The app says file type not supported.
Scam...they ask you for money before you can even use the app only 15 seconds available for free which isn't good for anything, when people question this the developers are rude and defensive they blame you after you pay for the app when it doesnt work and say that your files are the problem...AVOID you wont be refunded you can tell scam apps like this a mile away when you know what to look out for. **edit** that's my review accept it or leave it I can see what sort of app this is.

I don't like how you have a 15 SECONDS 'free'. Seriously. No one is going to use it. Then you have to buy these top ups I guess? they are too badly priced but the actual use and idea of them in the app is just begging for people to uninstall it from the get go. it was fine when I did the first one which was 10 minutes which i had to pay for. but then i recorded a 5 minutes
Used voice recorder to test the app and it wouldn't let me load my recorded test file up. Not clear what audio format is acceptable. Shame.
Paid for automatic conversion to text and it's not loading keeps saying service not available error loading. It's not fair to take people money when the features is not working
Can't load saved MP3 files. I eventually manage to send the audio to transcribeit by "sharing" from an audio player, but then transcribeit told me I can't even try audio clips more than 15 seconds in length without paying. Deleted.
It works fine and it helps me putting my thoughts on paper. Thanks
Doesn't work with MP4 files
Terrible app. I spent money on it. Mweh. Transcribed a 45 min audio 95% of it is wrong. And it's clear audio. It took around an hour to do it's thing and I could have typed it out in two or three. Was not worth the money spent. Please advise how I can go about getting a refund. I am able to provide the audio, your transcription as well as mine for feed back.
