Transformers TCG Companion App

Works well to track collection and decks. I'd say it's pretty much required if you like the TCG. Two problems keep it from being 5 stars. There is no cloud storage of collection or decks so if you get a new phone you have to add it all again. Second, the saving and loading of decks is a little wonky, the only way to be 100% sure you saved a deck you are editing is to make a second copy then delete the first which is a pain.

I think this app is amazing and has a lot of potential. That being said for some reason not all the battle cards are shown it's like 43/87. Eventually I hope they make it to where you can organize the cards by numerical order because they ate thrown in there at random. I do really like this app and glad they came out with it but it does need some Improvement. I still would highly reccomend the app.

The idea is there but ultimately all it is, is very flashy and lacks practicality. The first iteration was only to track hp as the card database was incorrect and now the deck save feature is not working. Sometimes It's even hard to select items. Would really appreciate it more if the new deckbuilding feature would allow builds to be saved, otherwise there is no reason to use this otherwise. It would also help if there were layered filters and filters by star cost.

Needs some work. Needs to include more sorting options, and a search system for cards. For instance, being able to sort through waves of the cards would be helpful. Also being able to easily look through the cards you've already added to your battlecards while you're adding more. And as far as "owned cards" go, a separate menu for that would be great, so that i can see card text instead of that giant "add to owned cards" button.

Looks like a lot of problems are fixed. All thats left for me is a lot of personal preferences. To have the ability to sort by wave and set number with the character and battle cards would be great. I also noticed that you cant sort for bold, tough, pierce, plan, brave, stealth, and cards with no icons with the battle cards. A search function would be amazing. Lastly the Rally the City card I could not find and there are 2 copies of Hight Advantage.

This new update vastly improves on the previous ones, with the Advanced search options finally allowing you to narrow your search. It also allows sorting by set and star value. However, the app still has a rather significant load time, and some cards are mis-tagged in the advanced search. For example, Protected By Metroplex and Rally the City show when you search for "No Pips", despite them being Orange and White pip cards, respectively.

I was really excited to discover that there was an actual companion app for the TCG until i'd installed it. The user interface is unhelpful and not in anyway fluid, it doesn't seem to respond at all well to any input when trying to select cards or select search parameters and has frozen every time u've attempted to scroll through the card list. Needs a lot of refining.

it's cool for collecting and keeping track of my cards. but... it doesnt make sense, unless my samsung s7 isnt allowing it to play certain parts of this app. like I thought you would be able to save decks and/or test them against each other but you cant. also when I make a deck for the first player,then switch to the second and finish that deck. I would go back to the first and it would only give me 14cards every time. I think that's a glitch

This App is pretty good but there's a few key features would make it perfect. Specifixally the ability to filter by action and upgrade or even better sorting by Action/Secret Action, and (Armor/Weapon/Utility) and Sidedeck options for the deck builder. Also some easier way of seeing/adding multiple copies of battle cards to your collection at a glance, rather than having to tap the card would be appreciated, but isn't vital. Like sprinkles on the iced cake, rather than icing.

This app is a great way to build Trabsformers TCG decks without having to have the cards. the ability to see your pip counts is also very good. however, it seems like certain things are missing. For one, it has all of the Siege 1 cards, but it doesn't have a black pip counter in the breakdown. this is an issue when trying to build any newer black/ blue decks. The other issue is that it doesn't have the Omnibots or Blaster/ Soundwave.

the basic rules: Autobot starter set video is the same as the four above and the combiners video is the same as the Devastator deck, I don't know for sure if that one's supposed to be different. I hope that helps. I've also noticed that the videos won't open unless I open the one on top of this text first.

Doesn't load on my new OnePlus 7T. Used it on my previous phone without issue. Hopefully it's a small bug that can be fixed easily. Will check back from time to time and update as needed. Edit: The app does not go pass the black screen with the Autobot/Desepticon logo in bottom right of screen. App is loaded to a OnePlus 7T

Really digging the app wishing the filters would apply when selected though. Also a "create a deck" feature would be great for keeping track of what goes with your saved team builds as well as adding how many of what cards you have selected into the deck, # of cards, individual color pip draw rate, action/upgrade split rate, bold/pierce rate etc. Thank you for making this for the fans!

The play store says its compatible with my device (Galaxy S3). When starting the program, I get the Hasbro logo, and then after about 10 seconds of the swirling Autobot/Decepticon logo, the program crashes back to the home screen. EDIT: As of 6/30/2019, the issue continues to happen with the latest version.

I accidentally erased my previous posting of my review of this app. My complaint is that the interactive elements of the app were too small to tap on my phone, making it hard to use the app. Also, I didn't find certain features intuitive to use and the new user experience didn't off set that lack of intuitive use. The apps devs did respond to my review, asking about the device I was using, but when I sent them an email to answer their reply (through the link Google Play had sent me when notifying me of the devs' response) the email wasn't delivered because the address doesn't exist. EDIT: With the email issue fixed, I was able to send in the requested information. I would give the app another shot if the issue is addressed.

I've liked this app for a long time, and recently reinstalled it. However, I'm getting an error saying that it failed to install. I see the app icon in the app menu, but when I start the app it immediately freezes on the loading screen. I'm on a Pixel 2 XL. I have confirmed that I have enough storage on my phone.

Good for what it does. You can save pre-built teams for quick access. The only thing that I could recommend is a Battle Card deck building feature as well. And a filter to make the characters and battle cards in alphabetical order.

I find this app very useful for keeping track of health if you run out of physical dice, and of different deck lists if you want to play with hypothetical teams. They are constantly looking at reviews and fixing bugs! Proactive devs! You typically dont get that kind of support for small projects like this!

Multi-Tool filters as an Orange Pip when it has a Blue Pip. Thank you for the recent updates, the filter do help, but still need a quality pass. Grenade Launcher should filter as a weapon, but doesn't. The app is extreme useful, but still need Quality checks for the filters.

Improved a great deal since release. Decks can be saved and cards can be added to collections now. Useful for deck building purposes. Two upgrades would take this to a 5 star rating: 1. Sort by star cost. 2. Show characters in alt mode by default so their star values are visible.

Edit 3/3/2020 It's a pretty good app for deckbuilding, or looking cards up, but there are still issues and optimizations that need to be made, but there's not enough space here to say what. There also have been no updates since around 12/2/2019, and even after that update there were still obvious issues that may have been able to be fixed. This is all why I have decreased my rating to 4 stars.

This is for use while playing the game. This is not for you to keep track of your collection. As a calculator and damage counter, it is very easy to use. It doesnt require an internet connection, so it stores all the images on your phone, making the app very large. If you use physical damage counters, you probably don't need this app.

Update: I like that you've updated with all Wave 2 cards and other extra cards allng with all the battle cards now. The deck building would be awesome if it worked and let you save, but right now it's got lots of bugs. Forgeting how many of each card you put in a deck, not assignjng the right number of battle icons colours etc. Also little things like Iron Hide showing when filtering tanks? Plus why cant i filter by both cards I own and Tanks instead of one or the other. Happy to be a betatester

Getting better all the time. Has card images, can build decks and has a mode to keep track of transformations and health in game. Would love the card filters to work properly, many cards are not flagged correctly (mostly the new wave 3 stuff).

This app is great! Would love to be able to use this on my PC as well. The brave filter for characters stills show no one, but that's minor. Also would love a share function to share our deck/list with others as a text or pdf format? This also would help if i need to print the list for a tournament! Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Love the app. Wish there were more options for filtering, like sorting by character type or battle card type, by wave/set, ect. Otherwise the app is phenomenal for deck building. P.S. the test deck system could use some work.

I know you are still working on it. This was a huge improvement then the first version. It would be nice to actually be able to build a deck, and see the teams attack and defense while in the health tracker mode. Keep up the good work. I'm a big fan of the tcg game.

Loving the companion app for the Transformers: TCG game. Well worth the time and effort as a way of tracking cards and deck building. (Update: 6/24/20) Just checked the app and the Energon Edition Wave 1 cards are now appearing once more. The development team are showing they hear the players. Great Job.

So far I am really liking the app. However, I did notice that apparently Flamewar becomes Dreadwing... when you bring her into battle and flip her to bot mode it gives you the prompt to Form Dreadwing. But the last time I checked Blackwing and Dreadwind combine into Dreadwing and no prompt appears. And even when you do form Dreadwing with Flamewar...no picture shows up, the health raises to 24 as it should, it's just kind of funny that one bike turns into plane combiner.

App has potential. The filters are not working on the battle cards, and half of the battle cards are missing. It would be nice if we could list how many of each card we have too. Sorting by at least alphabetical name would be nice.
